This is the second time we have stayed at this park while crossing Texas. Check in was easy and we were guided to our site. A tree interfered with our satellite but the cable was fine. There is easy access to the river and the pet area was good. We were only here one night each time. Navigating the campground was easy. Our cell access was marginal. We camped at Junction/North Llano River RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice staff. Park right on river. Just far enough from I-10 to not hear the freeway. Pricey but pretty park. Verizon on 1x. Cable fuzzy on a few local channels. In spite of this, we would stay again. We camped at Junction/North Llano River RV Park in a Motorhome.

An OK commercial campground, but with dirt/gravel roadways, so some dust kicked up when other vehicles went by. Convenient to the freeway and good Verizon signal. Had a mix of open and shady sites. Some sites had very nice patios. I was unhappy upon check-in because I was not given the open site I had been promised on the phone. I was sent to a site under an enormous tree and told to try it out, which meant hooking up my electric and waiting for DISH to load. I ended up standing around outside for several minutes to prove to the attendant that I could not get satellite under a tree. Finally he agreed to direct me to another site. Apparently, all the open sites were larger and reserved for bigger RVs even though they were all the same price, which irritates me. After about 20 minutes, they agreed to move to me to a different site, but after a long day on the road, I just want to hookup and relax, not drive around testing sites out! We camped at Junction/North Llano River RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a very nice RV park, with many shade trees, nice spacing, and a pleasant surrounding area...and right near the river! Overall, we enjoyed our stay here, but it started off with a minor issue...the power pedestal, according to my tester, was wired incorrectly. I complained, they first reacted poorly (someone was just there yesterday!), but eventually moved us to another site. Given that this was Labor Day weekend and the park was full, they definitely worked hard to ensure we were happy with our site, so I can say that they were quite accommodating. Both sites were mostly level. We enjoyed walking around the perimeter of the park, but did not partake of any of their other amenities. We camped at Junction/North Llano River RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Excellent RV park! Sites are generously spaced & level gravel. Many are big rig suitable. Interior roads are packed dirt/gravel and wide enough to make sites easy in/out. Cable TV worked well although many sites are satellite friendly too. Amenities include river side sites (rafting is popular in summer I hear), nice laundry, gated entry, pool, and W/E overflow sites for late arrivals. Horrible cell service: ATT worked for voice calls but got no data signal & Verizon couldn't connect for data either. Thankfully, the park wifi worked pretty well. Very friendly staff. We camped at Junction/North Llano River RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We did a one night stopover on our way from Houston to Tucson. Very tidy campground with plenty of space between sites. Our site had a nice covered patio. The river makes an interesting walk with lots of birds. WiFi was pretty good but wireless was 1X on Verizon. We would definitely stay here again. Overall Rating:

Really nice park, well set up with spacious lots, trees, and FHUs that worked. Friendly and helpful staff who escort you to your site. The pool is small, well maintained and deep enough at 8 feet for exercise. Both cable and Wi-Fi worked. Mature pecan trees offered shade at most spaces. Flickers, wrens, mockingbirds, and finches were easily seen.

We didn't qualify for any discounts so paid $36. We prefer the South Llano River State Park but will definitely stay here again when the park is full. We camped at Junction/North Llano River RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice park with spacious sites. There are some trees. It is maintained in an excellent manner. The owners show pride of ownership. We stay here twice each year when coming and going to southern Texas. Excellent cable and WiFi. Safe and secure with easy access to the interstate. This was an overnight stop for us. Our site was close to a tree and when it rained, some kind of nut pounded our trailer. That's not the CG fault, just a comment. We were very close to the river. Staff was very friendly and helpful and helped guide us into the site. Just off I-10 with a little traffic noise but not too bad. Would stay there again. We camped at Junction/North Llano River RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Price is a tad higher than I normally pay but it is a very nice park. The staff is excellent. They were very attentive to us. They lead you to your site, help you get parked and were even willing to help with getting chocked etc.

This was a stopover location as we were going to and from Davis Mountain State Park. It is very convenient to I-10 and the sites were level enough that I didn't have to disconnect from the truck. The kids enjoyed the pool.

The only "negative" is that my wife and daughters met a very large (size of the palm of your hand) tarantula near the bathrooms. Thankfully another camper shooed it away else my youngest wouldn't have left the bathroom :) We camped at Junction/North Llano River RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Park is located a short distance from I-10. The roads and sites are stone/sand but level. Our pull thru was long enough to accommodate our 40' plus tow vehicle. We had a very nice sitting area next to the coach. The river borders one side of the park with a "swim at your own risk" area. We only spent one night here but is a good stopover to or from San Antonio. We camped at Junction/North Llano River RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Well maintained park, with nice shade shelters and picnic table pads. Potted plants and/or landscaping at most sites. Park escort to site and assistance with pulling in and hookup. We had no problem with our 40' coach getting in and out of our site. Park is on the LLano River. Some traffic noise from Texas 377 on the East end of the park but pretty quiet at our site. Cable was good, we did not try the Wifi. Sites were large. Pads and roads are gravel but well maintained. We stayed overnight and would go back again. This is not a destination area, Junction is a small town in an arid climate. We camped at Junction/North Llano River RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a very well maintained campground, with friendly staff at check in. Road is sand and gravel and could be dusty when it's dry. Our spacious level and pull through pad was also sand and gravel. Big rig access was good. Very quiet and private with plenty of space around our RV, space for our towed too. Lots of mature shade trees, and plenty of grass between each site. Our site had a pergola with a lovely paved patio, a picnic table, wooden table and wooden lawn chairs, and a smoker/grill. The landscaping is very pretty and really compliments the river. There is also a small pool. Bathrooms were old but clean, as was the laundry but it did have 4 washers and 4 dryers. There is a security gate 24/7. A fenced pet area is provided as well as doggie bags. WiFi and cell were good. There are a couple of small food stores in Junction as well as two great barbecue places to try. This campground is very convenient to the I-10, easy on and off, and we would stay here again. We camped at Junction/North Llano River RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We stayed here overnight on the way to Big Bend Texas. It was a lovely campground. They even had a dog run that you could unleash your dogs and let them 'free' including poop bags to use. It was easy to get to and easy to get in. If I were headed back there I would definitely stay here again. The river was lovely and the people were friendly and accommodating. They had a pool which we did not use but looked nice and bathroom/shower which we also did not use but looked nice. We camped at Junction/North Llano River RV Park in a Motorhome.
