Stayed 3 nights, park is in transition to Yogi Bear Campgrounds, so this is a family park with kids activities being implemented. Arrived on a Thursday and it started filling up on Friday. Great place for pets with plenty of space along river to walk pets. No charge on cable, however, some channels would not work. Only 3 channels on antenna. Could not log onto wifi even though its free. Did not work with my Ipad. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Guadalupe River in a Motorhome.

Spent four days as the start of our annual summer trip. The park is in the process of changing to a Yogi Bear Jellystone park, but not all activities are in place yet. Recommend calling ahead if looking for Jellystone amenities. Sites are asphalt, level, and reasonably spaced. The park is on the Guadalupe River with plenty of green space along the river. Staff was friendly/helpful. We camp here at least once/year. We camped in a Motorhome. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Guadalupe River in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We've been coming to Guadalupe River RV Resort for years and enjoyed their amenities, to include the adult pool and listening to bands/karaoke at DT's Saloon. Since Yogi took over ALL the pools are now "Family Friendly." We have kids and grandkids and enjoyed pool time with them in the kids' pool, but it was nice to have the adult pool to talk with other guests, trade stories and relax; now lots of splashing, yelling, etc. (and former adult pool water isn't as clean as it used to be). We've heard there will be water slides put in both pools. The Saloon has been closed for nearly a month, and so the bands and karaoke have not been there as well.

Additionally, the new basketball court is in the blazing sun by the highway, and the bounce pad is 3' off the ground with no protection around it.

Long-term (month to month) RV renting is not allowed any longer between April-September and rates have increased. Who know what will happen to long-term regulars in the future.

Also, since they will be charging non-guests a daily rate of $15/each to enjoy their putt-putt, pools, and other kiddie-amenities ... wrist bands are now mandatory for RV/Cabin renters to wear at all times. We noticed they purchased a lot of golf carts, so like their Canyon Lake Yogi Park; we will probably not be able to bring our own golf carts soon and have to rent theirs. We have cancelled our July/August reservations at Yogi's and relocated to another park in Bandera because of all these changes. Noticed several other regulars and large groups have cancelled and changed parks as well. Sad to see the new Yogi owner couldn't of made appropriate changes so that BOTH kids and grown-ups could enjoy the park. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Guadalupe River in a Travel Trailer.

Large park, level sites, park service employees were helpful and friendly. (Office staff needs lessons in smiling and customer service.) Beautiful location along Guadalupe River, trees, concrete picnic tables. Many activities available, such as bingo, 'saloon', water aerobics, chapel. had to go a few miles thru town. Roads in park were tight but managable. We were in 40 Ft with toad and did not have to unhook. There was some grass for pets. Only stayed one night, but could have stayed here a couple of nights. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Guadalupe River in a Motorhome.

We were located down near the river on a level asphalt site. A patio, firepot, and patio table were included. During the day there was considerable road noise, but it was quiet at night. Great for dog walking. Service was very good. Both cable and wifi were extra. Laundry was clean and inexpensive. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Guadalupe River in a Fifth Wheel.

We have been here several times on weekend visits. Did full month this time going on weekends. Our favorite park of those we've visited for overall balance of what they have...large park area on river, adult pool, great folks visiting to mingle with, saloon-bar with karaoke and bands, friendly and helpful staff, clean well maintained facilities and grounds, close by stores, restaurants, places to see, etc. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Guadalupe River in a Travel Trailer.

Large sites with pull through long enough for a 34 foot rig with parking either behind or in front of. Good utilities located in the middle of the site. Cable reception was good but you now have to have a box provided by the park. Could not get sound after hooking up but someone came to site to fix. Hooking up box is a little inconvenient and must be done behind the TV. This would be a problem it you do not have access behind your TV. Huge area between park and river with swings and play area for children.

Park is quiet and well maintained. Some full time residents, but their area is neat and clean. We were in site 96 close to the road but did not hear traffic.

This is a nice park and did not see issues with updates as one poster stated. Site is asphalt with picnic table. Some sites have fire pits. Very well maintained and friendly staff. They have an on-site park host available after hours.

Cable is adequate at $4.00 and WiFi at $3.50 per day is excessive. I have problems with extra charges such as these and these extra charges bring to cost per day to $42.00. This is not a good value for most people. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Guadalupe River in a Fifth Wheel.

It was a gorgeous park and being next to the river was wonderful. Sitting on the swings watching the deer play across the river: priceless. I used the Jacuzzi and showers in the rec room and they were very nice. I would stay here again, but might want to check some of the other places in town out as they are also highly rated. I think the selling point for us at this park was they allowed us to set up exercise pens at our site so our dogs could be off leash in the pens with us and enjoy the time there too. many squirrels provided endless entertainment for our two dogs. This is a large well maintained park with good utility service located along the river which is nice. There seems to be lots of activities available. Cable TV and WiFi are available but at an extra charge. The park's biggest negative is that the sites are very close. Stayed at this park for many years but haven't been back for the past couple. Park is not bad in the location is good on the river and near town and the pools and rest rooms are clean. This is and old park and it appears no maintenance has been done on the sites in the past several years. Are main complaint is the added cost for everything. Cable TV is extra , holidays are 6-8 dollars extra, and the kicker is each additional person over 2 six years and up is $8. We used to stay here with our 2 grand daughters over Thanksgiving on a river site for $44 dollars a night. Today we would pay $74. Too much for our budget. Very well maintained park. Very family friendly with a lot of activities available. Beautiful access to the river. The river here is very shallow and fishing isn't possible. If you want to fish you'll need to go into town where its dammed up. They pick up trash every morning. It is very secure with personnell driving around most of the night. Very nice RV park. Three pools. One pool and hot tub indoors which was for adults only, one outdoor only adult pool, and a outside family pool. We stayed in a premium pull through site. Plenty of room in-between sites. All facilities/bathrooms were very well kept and park well maintained. Very quite even close to the bar, music stopped at 11pm. Well groomed walking trail along the river. Plenty to see and do in Ingram ( Stonehenge 2) and in Kerrville. Looking forward to visiting again. There are grass-burrs, but it is the hill country and to be expected. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Guadalupe River in a Fifth Wheel.
