This is a very well run park. We stayed during Spring Break. This park is perfect for family fun. There is so much for children to do outside. Pools, river, trampoline, mini golf, etc. We saw children having so much fun at this park. We asked to be parked at the back of the park so it would be quite area. No kids with us. We were escorted to our site. There is a nice cement picnic table and fire ring. I did also look at the rec hall and saw the staff cooking pancakes for everyone that wanted to eat breakfast. Good store on site also. Close to lots of stores and restaurants. We loved this park. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Guadalupe River in a Motorhome.

Billy Gene's restaurant has good food and a great view of the river. Reasonable prices. Mammacita is great for Mexican food. Large HEB for groceries is close by.

We rented one of their cheapest sites for a month. Site was a real bargain basement spot. No grass, plenty of burrs for the dog to step on, overgrown bushes. Looks like they were cleaning up others and had not gotten to this one yet. Very quiet, very friendly staff. A wonderful place for kids. A good place for adults when the kids aren't there. Little to no parking near the main facilities makes it difficult to use them if you are parked on the "back forty". We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Guadalupe River in a Fifth Wheel.

Right on the Guadalupe River, but you can't really see it from your site. Take a walk down the nature path - it's about a 1-mile loop. We don't have kids, so we didn't check on all those activities. Showers and restrooms were clean. Site needed some leveling side-to-side. Very long asphalt site. Concrete patio. Very quiet when we were there in December. Verizon cell service good at campground, spotty in some other areas of Kerrville. Satellite good. Small store (Ranger station) on-site. Lots to do in town. We were there this weekend during Hurricane Harvey and it was quiet and rainy, so we didn't swim or use water park, but is a great park. Our 4th visit and 3rd since it became a Jellystone. Staff are all awesome. I marked our overall rating as 9, versus 10 because of the check in experience. The gal who walked us through our checkin info was obviously bored or not happy with her job and honestly - I could not understand a word she said, but that was small potatoes. All in all a great experience again and we'll be back. Cheers. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Guadalupe River in a Travel Trailer.

Red carpet riverfront site - tight quarters but easy access to river and play areas for kids. Could never get any TV channels but not most important thing to us. Kids loved water park and fishing in river. Beware of water moccasins though. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Guadalupe River in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed at the campground during spring break week. It is going thru the transition to a Jellystone campground with significant construction of a water park in progress. The park is very kid friendly with activities and games. The river front back in sites have concrete pads with stone fire rings, but they are close to the jump pillow, etc. so don't expect a quiet view of the river. The rest of the sites are asphalt, level and some with trees. Our biggest disappointment was the bathroom/showers and laundry facilities. The bathroom/showers are dated and in need of repair and updating. With the transition to families with kids, there needs to be an increase in laundry facilities. We have camped here for several spring break weeks, but may consider a different park next year. We would still recommend this campground for a family experience. This is one of the nicest Jellystone parks we have been to. It is currently under construction while they build the water park, so we had to overlook the mess of that, but they are certainly working very hard to make this park awesome for families. Once the water park opens in the summer it will be amazing! The mini golf course looks brand new and it is so nice, and the newly paved red-carpet campsites that back up to the Guadalupe River are beautiful. Those sites have very nice fire pits and new grills going in. There is a good amount of space between sites so you don't feel crowded, and behind the site you have so much space for the kids to run around and play. The jump pad was behind our site and our kids loved that! There are also 2 playgrounds, swings along the river, and an indoor pool and hot tub that we enjoyed almost every night. We travel full-time and always appreciate a campground that allows us to have packages delivered, this park did allow that. We also work from remotely and need Verizon coverage; 4G data worked well at this park. The staff was very friendly and laundry was reasonably priced. I can't say enough good things about this park; it's definitely one of our favorite Jellystone parks and it looks like it will be even better once the water park is complete. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Guadalupe River in a Fifth Wheel.

We liked this park a lot. There is ongoing construction - when complete this will be an outstanding family oriented park. They already have many activities for kids with more on the way. Our site was pricey, but it was spacious, brand new, and commanded a fantastic view of the Guadalupe river. The staff was very helpful and friendly - we will definitely keep this park on our list for weekend getaways. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Guadalupe River in a Motorhome.

We stayed at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park for three nights. This is a very nice park, but be forewarned that it is a kids oriented park. We chose to camp in one of their river sites, but we were right by all the kids play areas which generated a lot of kid and parent traffic and noise. If would have been great to be able to enjoy the Guadalupe River without all the extra distractions created by all the kids playing from daylight until dark each day. Park is very large and just about all sites have plenty of room, we stayed in Site 57 which is a river site. The jumping pillow was closer to the sites than I expected but it wasn't awfully noisy. The space between the sites to the river is very nice with large trees and grassy area some porch swings hang from some of the trees. The people were very nice and I can't complain about customer service at all, I went to buy a bundle of fire wood, so I paid and the lady said "they are delivering it to your site right now", by the time I walked back to the site a guy was unloading it.

The river is very nice. The kids fed the ducks and fish some bread. The camp store sells some catfish bait, that's the only bait they sell, so If you plan on fishing I'd suggest buying some worms or crickets. The only bite my kids got was from a grasshopper that I had caught.

The fire pits were in a strange place toward the front of the sites and almost too close to our neighbor, they were chained down. I asked a few sites down from me if they had moved theirs to the back and they said a worker came with bolt cutters and told them they could move it to the back if they wanted to, wish I would have asked on my first day:-) We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Guadalupe River in a Travel Trailer.

We've been coming to Guadalupe River RV Resort for years and enjoyed their amenities, to include the adult pool and listening to bands/karaoke at DT's Saloon. Since Yogi took over ALL the pools are now "Family Friendly." We have kids and grandkids and enjoyed pool time with them in the kids' pool, but it was nice to have the adult pool to talk with other guests, trade stories and relax; now lots of splashing, yelling, etc. (and former adult pool water isn't as clean as it used to be). We've heard there will be water slides put in both pools. The Saloon has been closed for nearly a month, and so the bands and karaoke have not been there as well.

Additionally, the new basketball court is in the blazing sun by the highway, and the bounce pad is 3' off the ground with no protection around it.

Long-term (month to month) RV renting is not allowed any longer between April-September and rates have increased. Who know what will happen to long-term regulars in the future.

Also, since they will be charging non-guests a daily rate of $15/each to enjoy their putt-putt, pools, and other kiddie-amenities ... wrist bands are now mandatory for RV/Cabin renters to wear at all times. We noticed they purchased a lot of golf carts, so like their Canyon Lake Yogi Park; we will probably not be able to bring our own golf carts soon and have to rent theirs. We have cancelled our July/August reservations at Yogi's and relocated to another park in Bandera because of all these changes. Noticed several other regulars and large groups have cancelled and changed parks as well. Sad to see the new Yogi owner couldn't of made appropriate changes so that BOTH kids and grown-ups could enjoy the park. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Guadalupe River in a Travel Trailer.

Spent four days as the start of our annual summer trip. The park is in the process of changing to a Yogi Bear Jellystone park, but not all activities are in place yet. Recommend calling ahead if looking for Jellystone amenities. Sites are asphalt, level, and reasonably spaced. The park is on the Guadalupe River with plenty of green space along the river. Staff was friendly/helpful. We camp here at least once/year. We camped in a Motorhome. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Guadalupe River in a Motorhome.

Stayed 3 nights, park is in transition to Yogi Bear Campgrounds, so this is a family park with kids activities being implemented. Arrived on a Thursday and it started filling up on Friday. Great place for pets with plenty of space along river to walk pets. No charge on cable, however, some channels would not work. Only 3 channels on antenna. Could not log onto wifi even though its free. Did not work with my Ipad. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Guadalupe River in a Motorhome.
