We stayed at the campground during spring break week. It is going thru the transition to a Jellystone campground with significant construction of a water park in progress. The park is very kid friendly with activities and games. The river front back in sites have concrete pads with stone fire rings, but they are close to the jump pillow, etc. so don't expect a quiet view of the river. The rest of the sites are asphalt, level and some with trees. Our biggest disappointment was the bathroom/showers and laundry facilities. The bathroom/showers are dated and in need of repair and updating. With the transition to families with kids, there needs to be an increase in laundry facilities. We have camped here for several spring break weeks, but may consider a different park next year. We would still recommend this campground for a family experience. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Guadalupe River in a Motorhome.

We liked this park a lot. There is ongoing construction - when complete this will be an outstanding family oriented park. They already have many activities for kids with more on the way. Our site was pricey, but it was spacious, brand new, and commanded a fantastic view of the Guadalupe river. The staff was very helpful and friendly - we will definitely keep this park on our list for weekend getaways. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Guadalupe River in a Motorhome.

Stayed 3 nights, park is in transition to Yogi Bear Campgrounds, so this is a family park with kids activities being implemented. Arrived on a Thursday and it started filling up on Friday. Great place for pets with plenty of space along river to walk pets. No charge on cable, however, some channels would not work. Only 3 channels on antenna. Could not log onto wifi even though its free. Did not work with my Ipad. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Guadalupe River in a Motorhome.

Spent four days as the start of our annual summer trip. The park is in the process of changing to a Yogi Bear Jellystone park, but not all activities are in place yet. Recommend calling ahead if looking for Jellystone amenities. Sites are asphalt, level, and reasonably spaced. The park is on the Guadalupe River with plenty of green space along the river. Staff was friendly/helpful. We camp here at least once/year. We camped in a Motorhome. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Guadalupe River in a Motorhome.

Large park, level sites, park service employees were helpful and friendly. (Office staff needs lessons in smiling and customer service.) Beautiful location along Guadalupe River, trees, concrete picnic tables. Many activities available, such as bingo, 'saloon', water aerobics, chapel. had to go a few miles thru town. Roads in park were tight but managable. We were in 40 Ft with toad and did not have to unhook. There was some grass for pets. Only stayed one night, but could have stayed here a couple of nights. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Guadalupe River in a Motorhome.

Great place to unwind. Lovely views of the river. Especially sat in the tree swings. Camp Saloon. Friendly and clean camp. 2 pools, good kitted out clubhouse facilities. Relaxing, would definitely stop here again. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Guadalupe River in a Motorhome.

It was a gorgeous park and being next to the river was wonderful. Sitting on the swings watching the deer play across the river: priceless. I used the Jacuzzi and showers in the rec room and they were very nice. I would stay here again, but might want to check some of the other places in town out as they are also highly rated. I think the selling point for us at this park was they allowed us to set up exercise pens at our site so our dogs could be off leash in the pens with us and enjoy the time there too. many squirrels provided endless entertainment for our two dogs. This is a large well maintained park with good utility service located along the river which is nice. There seems to be lots of activities available. Cable TV and WiFi are available but at an extra charge. The park's biggest negative is that the sites are very close. Stayed at this park for many years but haven't been back for the past couple. Park is not bad in the location is good on the river and near town and the pools and rest rooms are clean. This is and old park and it appears no maintenance has been done on the sites in the past several years. Are main complaint is the added cost for everything. Cable TV is extra , holidays are 6-8 dollars extra, and the kicker is each additional person over 2 six years and up is $8. We used to stay here with our 2 grand daughters over Thanksgiving on a river site for $44 dollars a night. Today we would pay $74. Too much for our budget. We are staying in this park for two weeks. We are staying in one of the premium sites and there is plenty of elbow room. The saloon noise is minimal, even with all of our windows open. We have two small dogs who are loving all the grass and trees. The walking trail along the river is lovely. We spotted a heron today. We have not had any problem with the burrs mentioned by a previous reviewer. Everyone here (staff and campers) are all very friendly. We are hoping to winter here, as we feel this is an exceptional park. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Guadalupe River in a Motorhome.

Have stayed here several times over last couple of years, but won't go back. Took our grandson for his first camping trip without Mom and Dad this weekend. They wouldn't give us the Good Sam discount because I didn't have the card, even though I pulled it up on my IPAD and they could see we were current. Then it rained all weekend (yes I know the resort can't control that). Then we found that arcade game area is gone and indoor pool is adults only (over 18) for sanitary reasons (I guess adults never pee in a pool) - except in winter when kids are allowed. Then we developed a horrible ant problem in the RV which I read on TA is not uncommon. This is not an adult only campground but it seems like it’s trying to be one. Heard it’s up for sale. Canceling our 5 nights there over New Years. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Guadalupe River in a Motorhome.

Very friendly staff. Sites 1-48 are beautiful. Rest of the sites seem run down and uncared for. Had planned to stay a week, but our site was at the west end among mobile homes and what appeared to be long term residents. Left after one night. We have stayed here many times before, but somehow the park seemed a notch or two lower for a rating. For one thing we loved the "river view" sites which are a premium price but this year they wouldn't allow us to pull our motorhome facing into the river as we've done in the past. So why pay more for a view that one can't view. Seems like it's all set up for trailers or 5ers. So we stayed in a "basic" site and the costs seemed way too high. We'll probably stay again as it's still the best gig near town. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Guadalupe River in a Motorhome.

Checking in was fairly easy but the lady was very loud speaking to me. I don't know if she was having a bad day or what. This park is loaded with grass burrs and the rules here are not enforced (mats on the grass and people cutting through RV sites). I had at least 10 people cut through ours, I finally stopped a woman and she told me that she didn't know anything about it, but it was clearly in the park rules. I think that she is a permanent. We will not come back to this park. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Guadalupe River in a Motorhome.
