Red carpet riverfront site - tight quarters but easy access to river and play areas for kids. Could never get any TV channels but not most important thing to us. Kids loved water park and fishing in river. Beware of water moccasins though. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Guadalupe River in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed at the campground during spring break week. It is going thru the transition to a Jellystone campground with significant construction of a water park in progress. The park is very kid friendly with activities and games. The river front back in sites have concrete pads with stone fire rings, but they are close to the jump pillow, etc. so don't expect a quiet view of the river. The rest of the sites are asphalt, level and some with trees. Our biggest disappointment was the bathroom/showers and laundry facilities. The bathroom/showers are dated and in need of repair and updating. With the transition to families with kids, there needs to be an increase in laundry facilities. We have camped here for several spring break weeks, but may consider a different park next year. We would still recommend this campground for a family experience. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Guadalupe River in a Motorhome.

We liked this park a lot. There is ongoing construction - when complete this will be an outstanding family oriented park. They already have many activities for kids with more on the way. Our site was pricey, but it was spacious, brand new, and commanded a fantastic view of the Guadalupe river. The staff was very helpful and friendly - we will definitely keep this park on our list for weekend getaways. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Guadalupe River in a Motorhome.

We stayed at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park for three nights. This is a very nice park, but be forewarned that it is a kids oriented park. We chose to camp in one of their river sites, but we were right by all the kids play areas which generated a lot of kid and parent traffic and noise. If would have been great to be able to enjoy the Guadalupe River without all the extra distractions created by all the kids playing from daylight until dark each day. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Guadalupe River in a Fifth Wheel.

Great meat market just down the road from the park. For you ladies that like to quilt, there is a great quilt shop in Kerrville.

We've been coming to Guadalupe River RV Resort for years and enjoyed their amenities, to include the adult pool and listening to bands/karaoke at DT's Saloon. Since Yogi took over ALL the pools are now "Family Friendly." We have kids and grandkids and enjoyed pool time with them in the kids' pool, but it was nice to have the adult pool to talk with other guests, trade stories and relax; now lots of splashing, yelling, etc. (and former adult pool water isn't as clean as it used to be). We've heard there will be water slides put in both pools. The Saloon has been closed for nearly a month, and so the bands and karaoke have not been there as well.

Additionally, the new basketball court is in the blazing sun by the highway, and the bounce pad is 3' off the ground with no protection around it.

Long-term (month to month) RV renting is not allowed any longer between April-September and rates have increased. Who know what will happen to long-term regulars in the future.

Also, since they will be charging non-guests a daily rate of $15/each to enjoy their putt-putt, pools, and other kiddie-amenities ... wrist bands are now mandatory for RV/Cabin renters to wear at all times. We noticed they purchased a lot of golf carts, so like their Canyon Lake Yogi Park; we will probably not be able to bring our own golf carts soon and have to rent theirs. We have cancelled our July/August reservations at Yogi's and relocated to another park in Bandera because of all these changes. Noticed several other regulars and large groups have cancelled and changed parks as well. Sad to see the new Yogi owner couldn't of made appropriate changes so that BOTH kids and grown-ups could enjoy the park. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Guadalupe River in a Travel Trailer.

Large park, level sites, park service employees were helpful and friendly. (Office staff needs lessons in smiling and customer service.) Beautiful location along Guadalupe River, trees, concrete picnic tables. Many activities available, such as bingo, 'saloon', water aerobics, chapel. had to go a few miles thru town. Roads in park were tight but managable. We were in 40 Ft with toad and did not have to unhook. There was some grass for pets. Only stayed one night, but could have stayed here a couple of nights. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Guadalupe River in a Motorhome.

We were located down near the river on a level asphalt site. A patio, firepot, and patio table were included. During the day there was considerable road noise, but it was quiet at night. Great for dog walking. Service was very good. Both cable and wifi were extra. Laundry was clean and inexpensive. Large sites with pull through long enough for a 34 foot rig with parking either behind or in front of. Good utilities located in the middle of the site. Cable reception was good but you now have to have a box provided by the park. Could not get sound after hooking up but someone came to site to fix. Hooking up box is a little inconvenient and must be done behind the TV. This would be a problem it you do not have access behind your TV. Huge area between park and river with swings and play area for children.

Park is quiet and well maintained. Some full time residents, but their area is neat and clean. We were in site 96 close to the road but did not hear traffic.

This is a nice park and did not see issues with updates as one poster stated. Site is asphalt with picnic table. Some sites have fire pits. Very well maintained and friendly staff. They have an on-site park host available after hours.

Cable is adequate at $4.00 and WiFi at $3.50 per day is excessive. I have problems with extra charges such as these and these extra charges bring to cost per day to $42.00. This is not a good value for most people. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Guadalupe River in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a large well maintained park with good utility service located along the river which is nice. There seems to be lots of activities available. Cable TV and WiFi are available but at an extra charge. The park's biggest negative is that the sites are very close. Shore Services: 50amp, Sewer good, Water 60@ psi are good. WiFi is by Tengo. i didn't use it. At&T Cell phone is from 1 bar to 3 bars. Sprint Air Card is good while Verizon 4GLTE is not very good. Cable is good. Internal Roads and sites are gravel & asphalt. Length good for a long RV and enough room in most to put out slides and awnings. Distance between sites are enough room for awnings but can be close depending on your RV. Restrooms are good and clean. Laundry has 4 washers and dryers in the smaller laundry. Some long term tenants but not a problem. Direct TV Satellite access is good. Cost is $39 for basic and more for premium or River sites. Payment with credit card no problem. This is not a bad park, however there are some good points and bad points. Good if you need it is the electric has sites for RV's that need 2-50amp service. This is for the new big rigs. An improvement that would help is to maintain the sites better. Clean up the leaves and try to get the grass burrs and stickers that my dog picks up every time I take him out. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Guadalupe River in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here for a week . We were in site 61 which backs up to the beautiful grounds and had a river view. The price does not include Wi-Fi, which did work real well. The river is very low at this park as it is dammed up for the city of Kerrville. We had our grandsons age 15 with us. They had a ball. Many other kids and a lot to do. Enjoyed the adult pool. The boys did enjoy fishing in what water there was. We enjoyed the River Rock Saloon on Friday night for karaoke and dancing and on Sat. for the live band. Out spot was very close to the saloon, but could not hear it inside our RV. The office was very helpful in taking us to our site and helping with the two problems we had ( ants, and a tree limb which they trimmed}. This is a very large place. There are at least 220 RV sites and many cabins. When full on the weekends that puts about 800 plus people here. Never saw any security. There are rules about dogs, but only half or less of the people abide by them. Many dogs off leash and not picked up after. We would stay here again if we had grandkids, which they charged extra for ($20 each). We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Guadalupe River in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice park. Next to highway, but there was no noise. Campground is very nice with average size spaces. Asphalt sites that needed a little leveling for side to side. Cable and WI-FI are available at extra cost of $3.00 per day. I have an issue with campgrounds that charge extra for these items. Office closes at 5:00 and not open on Sundays. Box had information on available sites and how to register the following day. We stayed for 5 nights for $178 which included cable only, as I have my own Wi-Fi. We would stay here again, We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Guadalupe River in a Fifth Wheel.

We have stayed here several times in the last couple of years. Each time we have been in a different area of the park. We did not make reservations this time and were lucky enough to get a spot for the long weekend as the place was packed. Rate reflects Good Sam discount + cable. Everything worked as it should, except for the 20 amp additional circuit on the post. Glad I had a 50 amp pigtail for our trailer, basic sites apparently only have 50 amp service. For us, there was definitely a difference between the basic site and in the middle section so we would pay a little more for that view. Cable and internet are extra charges, for which I'm not a fan. Seems a little pricey for what you get. All in all, it was a nice get-a-way, and neighbors / staff were friendly. Will return again.
