Mostly long-term tenants, pretty close to each other, and no dog park. Very quiet, clean, the people were friendly, and the laundry facility was appreciated. We camped at Idyll Glen RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed five nights, could not have better. Owners and help very attentive. Owner even gave us detailed driving directions before he was aware we were staying here. (His wife had registered us.) Very quiet and family friendly. Close enough to drive into city of Austin, near north suburbs and Lake Travis. We camped at Idyll Glen RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Beautiful views of the Texas hill country. Very friendly owners and staff. Not your "cookie cutter", side by side campsites. Well laid out to provide privacy and scenic views. We camped at Idyll Glen RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park is hard to find, although on a main road, city ordinances don't allow anything but a small sign. We stayed in a pull through site - but very little room to the site. Very close too neighbors. We were on the upper area. It was hot, a pool would have been nice...but it was a very very clean park. Several full timers - very quiet - no shade at all on the upper level. I would stay here for an overnight, would not stay again for extended time. Pretty setting, clean park. We camped at Idyll Glen RV Park in a Motorhome.

The park is on CR1431 - small sign. Call ahead (at least l day, preferably more) for instructions. Voice mail answers calls and you have to await return call which could be some hours. The park has a lower part where cell/TV reception is poor unless you have monthly cable service. The lower part of the park is the more attractive area with nice trees and not all sites are side by side. The upper part of the park is newer with close sites, but better cell reception and unattractive views. No pool, no cable TV. Looks to be more of an extended stay type of campground. About 30 minutes from downtown Austin, but the development is encroaching very fast. Come to see the Texas hill country before it is all developed which will be soon. We stayed in the lower section and just barely got Verizon reception. Friendly management. We camped at Idyll Glen RV Park in a Motorhome.
