2 RV Parks near Lamesa, Texas
Sep 2017 - $35.00
Stayed one night on our way west. No frills park with ample room between spaces. Utilities were sufficient and centrally located. Very quiet park, but no security lights at night. We still felt safe. We will be happy to stay here again. - LoboFromTX
Jul 2017 - $30.00
We stayed just for an overnight on the way west. Owner and employees in the store were nice but the park is dirty. No fencing/security. Sites are level and there is room between sites but mostly a park where workers live. Be aware if you travel with pets, this is not a place you want to stay. Loose dogs from neighborhood travel through the park day and nite - some of the breeds are ones considered "dangerous". I would not go out to walk my dog without someone with me and then I was afraid to walk. Stayed by my door only. Convenience store on site with necessities. - robertsdj
Apr 2017 - $35.00
Useful for overnight when you're tired or trying to get off the road in windy conditions. Site level enough. Easy to get in as only a dozen campers here and most are seasonal. Areas around seasonal campers clean and picked up. No showers. One-stool restroom with sink for women, same for men. Didn't check the men's but women's was okay; it could have been cleaner and needed toilet paper. Not even a spare roll in there. The rate was $35 which they said was Good Sam rate yet the park is not listed on Good Sam site. Convenience store had some basics. Park is in a run-down area with neighborhood dogs running loose. For that reason I didn't walk our dogs too far from camper. Also check reviews under La Vedara park in Lamesa, Texas. Pretty pricey for what you get. Electric was good and good water pressure however. Our entire length is about 53 feet and spot was 60 feet. - coffeeman1
Aug 2018 - $1.00
This is a great overnight stop, but you can stay up to 4 days. They have 1 50amp site and 7 30 amp sites all back in. There is a dump site available. - Ken H
May 2018 - $1.00
We spent two nights at this free city park campground/parking lot (free for 4 nights). There are water and electric hookups, and there may be a dump station, though we did not use it. While the "campground" is really just an asphalt parking area within a larger city park, it was nice to be able to stop and to have free hookups. As a result, we spent some time seeing sites around Lamesa that we would not have seen otherwise. We also enjoyed visiting with others who just stayed here one night. The water and electric are between two sites, so either one rig needs to pull in and back out, or stretch cord/hose under/around the rig. - pattic777

Very good but electric hook ups only two working. I saw some people leaving because could not get electricity. Need to be fixed and stray dogs get into trash and make mess. - Elisa Vasquez-Edwards
