Date of Stay: October, 2014 - $25.00
All sites are pull-thru. Fairly level graveled sites. The nightly rate was $30, but was discounted to $25 due to Good Sam. It is a bare bones place, but good for over night stays. We would stay there again. We camped at La Vedara RV Park in a Motorhome.
Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $18.00
We were looking for an RON (remain over night) place and thought this would do. We drove into the CG and found that it was the ultimate description of a sardine can type park. There had been a hard rain in the area for a couple of days and this place was a mud ball because of it. The website pictures are deceiving. I squeezed into one of the only unoccupied sites and found that I would probably be within inches of the next RV if I deployed my slides. But I needed a place to park for the night so I checked for an office building. There was none. I went to the convenience store mentioned in a previous review and it was closed. This appears to be a CG that caters only to permanent oil field workers and without any on site management. We left. We camped at La Vedara RV Park in a Motorhome.
Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $25.00
Very dusty gravel, sparse grass. Parking lot behind a large building. Wide streets, so-so spaces. Almost full of construction worker 5th wheels and trailers, but the only thing available. Heavy oilfield and truck traffic on the highway, but huge metal building buffers sound. Baths? Showers? Did not see any. Just a overnight spot in the road between destinations. No frills, extras, Wi-Fi or cable, and antenna reception was none. But the owner is super nice and very friendly. No office other than a convenience store, so I guess no late arrivals. We were one of two class A motorhomes, all others worker trailers. August is 101 HOT. We camped at La Vedara RV Park in a Motorhome.
Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $30.00
What a difference a few months makes. We stayed here last December and our stay was okay. Now this park is over crowded with full timers and few spaces for overnighters . The $30 price is Good Sam. For that you get no Wi-Fi or cable. We were only able to get one channel using our digital antenna. I don't think we will ever return. We camped at La Vedara RV Park in a Motorhome.
Date of Stay: December, 2013 - $30.00
We spent one night on a shake down trip for our new RV. As stated earlier, the sites are wide with easy access. They do take credit cards. We tried the burritos in the morning and they were very good. Nice store with good but minimum essential items. They also have propane available. We would return if ever the need arose again. We camped at La Vedara RV Park in a Motorhome.
Date of Stay: November, 2012 - $30.00
Camped at La Vedara for only one night, but the campground was clean, sites long and level, and the owner very friendly and helpful. Good access and egress. As noted in other review, 100 amp was available. The campground has a great store. This is a great place for a short/overnight stay. We would stay here again. We camped at La Vedara RV Park in a Motorhome.
Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $25.00
We spent one night at the RV park on our way through. Very friendly owners. No shade available on the daily/weekly sites but they were nice and wide with grass. Also recommend the breakfast burrito. Easy access in and out. The store was very well stocked. We camped at La Vedara RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
Date of Stay: February, 2012 - $14.00
This park opened only a year and a half ago. The owner operated a smaller older park, so knew that campers wanted spots they could easily get in to. Spaces are about the easiest to get in and out of that I have seen at a park. Roads are wide, and spaces all long pull-through. Spaces are all full hookup, and have up to 100 amp electric service. There is no cable or internet. There is a real store in the park, not the tiny "stores" with a couple hundred dollars of inventory that some parks call a store. The office/store is open till 10pm, and till Midnight on weekends, which is nice for late check ins. The park owners also own a popular Mexican restaurant off site, so tasty breakfast burritos are sold at the store if you get there early. There is a large indoor meeting hall. They also do RV repairs. I found the park clean (except for too many cigarette butts on the ground). The owners are friendly and make you feel welcome. Rate reflects the weekly rate, with a 25% Good Sam discount. We camped at La Vedara RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
