Stayed one night on our way west. No frills park with ample room between spaces. Utilities were sufficient and centrally located. Very quiet park, but no security lights at night. We still felt safe. We will be happy to stay here again. We camped at La Vedera RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

We stayed just for an overnight on the way west. Owner and employees in the store were nice but the park is dirty. No fencing/security. Sites are level and there is room between sites but mostly a park where workers live. Be aware if you travel with pets, this is not a place you want to stay. Loose dogs from neighborhood travel through the park day and nite - some of the breeds are ones considered "dangerous". I would not go out to walk my dog without someone with me and then I was afraid to walk. Stayed by my door only. Convenience store on site with necessities. We camped at La Vedera RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Useful for overnight when you're tired or trying to get off the road in windy conditions. Site level enough. Easy to get in as only a dozen campers here and most are seasonal. Areas around seasonal campers clean and picked up. No showers. One-stool restroom with sink for women, same for men. Didn't check the men's but women's was okay; it could have been cleaner and needed toilet paper. Not even a spare roll in there. The rate was $35 which they said was Good Sam rate yet the park is not listed on Good Sam site. Convenience store had some basics. Park is in a run-down area with neighborhood dogs running loose. For that reason I didn't walk our dogs too far from camper. Also check reviews under La Vedara park in Lamesa, Texas. Pretty pricey for what you get. Electric was good and good water pressure however. Our entire length is about 53 feet and spot was 60 feet. We camped at La Vedera RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

It's a nice placell but the people who own it aren't very nice at all. They do have rules which is understandable every place does. They are expensive and if you do one little thing they don't like the owner kicks you out with out a refund. Definitely would not recommend to my worst enemy. We camped at La Vedera RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very primitive park. No real amenities. Clean. Easy on/off highway. Poor drainage in the park. The office is in the convenience store. Our satellite worked fine. It's ok for a stop if you aren't planning to leave your RV. We camped at La Vedera RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is definitely only an overnight stop for travelers. There are permanent residents but ample space for over-nighters. The gravel sites are long enough that we didn't have to unhook the toad and all appeared as level as was the one we were assigned. There were a few trees and none were a problem navigating the interior roads. You pull behind the convenience store (not a problem) and register inside the store. Staff was very helpful on our departure when we asked about the Texas road our GPS wanted us to use. Because of recent rainfall the road was closed. The young man called a friend who worked with the highway patrol to check on a different route for us. All worked well. If traveling this way again, we would stay here overnight. We camped at La Vedera RV Park in a Motorhome.

All sites are pull-thru. Fairly level graveled sites. The nightly rate was $30, but was discounted to $25 due to Good Sam. It is a bare bones place, but good for over night stays. We would stay there again. We camped at La Vedera RV Park in a Motorhome.

We were looking for an RON (remain over night) place and thought this would do. We drove into the CG and found that it was the ultimate description of a sardine can type park. There had been a hard rain in the area for a couple of days and this place was a mud ball because of it. The website pictures are deceiving. I squeezed into one of the only unoccupied sites and found that I would probably be within inches of the next RV if I deployed my slides. But I needed a place to park for the night so I checked for an office building. There was none. I went to the convenience store mentioned in a previous review and it was closed. This appears to be a CG that caters only to permanent oil field workers and without any on site management. We left. We camped at La Vedera RV Park in a Motorhome.

What a difference a few months makes. We stayed here last December and our stay was okay. Now this park is over crowded with full timers and few spaces for overnighters . The $30 price is Good Sam. For that you get no Wi-Fi or cable. We were only able to get one channel using our digital antenna. I don't think we will ever return. We camped at La Vedera RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Very dusty gravel, sparse grass. Parking lot behind a large building. Wide streets, so-so spaces. Almost full of construction worker 5th wheels and trailers, but the only thing available. Heavy oilfield and truck traffic on the highway, but huge metal building buffers sound. Baths? Showers? Did not see any. Just a overnight spot in the road between destinations. No frills, extras, Wi-Fi or cable, and antenna reception was none. But the owner is super nice and very friendly. No office other than a convenience store, so I guess no late arrivals. We were one of two class A motorhomes, all others worker trailers. August is 101 HOT. We camped at La Vedera RV Park in a Motorhome.

We spent one night on a shake down trip for our new RV. As stated earlier, the sites are wide with easy access. They do take credit cards. We tried the burritos in the morning and they were very good. Nice store with good but minimum essential items. They also have propane available. We would return if ever the need arose again. We camped at La Vedera RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Camped at La Vedara for only one night, but the campground was clean, sites long and level, and the owner very friendly and helpful. Good access and egress. As noted in other review, 100 amp was available. The campground has a great store. This is a great place for a short/overnight stay. We would stay here again. We spent one night here passing through on our way west. Level sites, easy access, very friendly, family owned park. There was a mix of overnighters (we were the only ones) and full timers, but that wasn't a problem at all. The office is actually a convenience store up front that is open until 10PM. The store carries breakfast tacos in the mornings that are made in their own restaurant. I highly recommend them. We camped at La Vedera RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We spent one night at the RV park on our way through. Very friendly owners. No shade available on the daily/weekly sites but they were nice and wide with grass. Also recommend the breakfast burrito. Easy access in and out. The store was very well stocked. We camped at La Vedera RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
