2 Parks near Lewisville, Texas
Nov 2015 - $15.00
Great park with large sites and very big rig friendly. Sites very in size and slope so it is a good idea to drive through before you sign in. No septic at the sites but the dump station is close and easy to use. We were run out by heavy rains causing flooding but this is a rare occurrence. Service would have been excellent except that we were not notified of the evacuation until 6 hours after it was decided. Hard to deal with same day evacuation when you learn about it at 4PM! We would return without question! It's an oasis in the city.. - Beech35p
Nov 2015 - $28.00
Great campground close enough to Dallas to visit attractions. The worse part about our stay was the construction on I35E at the turn off for the camp. We also had the wrong address. If we had the correct address, our GPs would have found it. The address is 1201 Point Vista Road in Hickory Creek, Tx. There was no noise from highway, but we were on the airport flight path. The planes slowed down at night. We were in a site with a view of the lake and we saw deer during our stay. - BigR
Nov 2014 - $15.00
Rate is for Senior Pass discount. Wonderful park in a residential area near Dallas. Large sites many with lake view and shade. Partial hookups; water and electric. Good OTA reception; good Verizon cell and MiFi reception. Walmart is within a mile from the park. Stayed nine nights and would return. - Dave51

We have stayed at this camp site for a few years now. Always loved it felt like home. But as of recently park has gone down hill. Laundry facilities are always out of order, one out of the four washers is always out of order even dryers dont dry clothes. Bathrooms and showers are filthy, used razors laying around. Now on to the biggest thing, transients! Drunk dirty homeless people wandering in harassing rv'ers trying to get into the bathroom facilities. Hanging out at all times of the night. Asking to use your restroom in your RV. Doesnt feel safe anymore. Also may patrons living in vans with personal property laying all over the outside. This all makes me sad since this place used to be great. The city meeds to put some real money and time into this site. - Gypsymama22
Dec 2015 - $9.00
We enjoyed our stay at the Lewisville Lake Park Campground. The location is convenient to access places in the DFW area. The site was nice with adequate space between RVs. The restroom and laundry room were reasonably clean and well maintained.
When we were there, the lake level was high and rising, so the staff indicated that some of the sites would possibly need to move (30 amp sites), but the 50 amp sites were well high and not subject to flooding.
No sewer hookups but dump is conveniently located; we're used to boondocking so it isn't a challenge to stay a week or more without dumping. Price is hard to beat for seniors! - pattic777
May 2015 - $8.00
A nice campground. Some rules are very strict: Don't put any part (a single tire) of your RV or other vehicle on the ground/grass outside of the designated parking area. Do not arrive before 1:30pm. NO registration or admittance before 1:30pm. It doesn't matter if your reserved site empty or not, you will not be allowed in. You will be told to park somewhere and come back at 1:30pm. If there are no sports events at the near by ball field/soccer field parking you can park there until 1:30pm.
Ok. Got that gripe out! The park is nice. Some sites have great views of the lake. Easy access to the NW part of the Dallas area. Price is right for Seniors (don't remember age restrictions), 1/2 off of the $18 for 50 amp & $16 for 30amp. No sewer, but a dump is on site. Free WiFi which actually works. - A-S_Travels
