This park could be such a gem. The people running the park are such nice people. The WIFI worked well as did the utilities which are placed at the proper location. Laundry room was super clean with nice machines. The problem as stated by other people was the burrs that are everywhere in the park. It was necessary to clean our dogs paws after every run to the tune of at least 50 total burrs. Why not build a dog run and plant some grass? I really liked this park, however the burrs will keep me from ever coming back. We camped here in a 40' motorhome. We camped at Riverway RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Nice park close to the river. Gravel pads, good space between neighbors. Nice recreation room, showers and kitchen. We rented kayaks for the entire day, $30 dollars each. My only complaint the sticker burs that were excessive throughout the entire park, large grassy field leading out to the river and even in our space grassy patch by the rig. It made our stay feel very inconvenienced. We had to carry out dog down to the water during walks. Also spent most of the time plucking burrs from paws, flip flops and throw rugs in our rig. Nice park except for the burrs. Suggest to the park, seasonal weed treatment and being very proactive on mowing after the spring rains. We camped at Riverway RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We took our dog to the Llano park by the bridge so she could run and swim. No sticker burrs at the park.

Overall Rating:

I stayed in this park from November 2015 to March 2016 on a monthly rate of $325.00 plus electric. It is on the river and has a walking trail. There are clean showers and toilets, a small worked out room, and a large area with tables and chairs for gatherings. The sites are a bit narrow and there was no picnic table. On the downside there were many ants and sticker burrs. Good cable, Wifi and cell signal. Management was very friendly. We camped at Riverway RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Great little park. Passport America rate was $15 Cash, which we could use for two nights; other nights were $30. Sites and roads are dirt but in good condition. Very good wi fi and cable; nice exercise facilities. Good lending library and laundry. When I made the reservation, the young lady offered us a site on the first row, facing the river, but she did tell me that these sites had a slight slope, so we opted for the back row which was very level. We didn't have the river to view, but we had a nice green belt with many trees behind us. Everything immaculate. Sites have very little shade, however. We camped at Riverway RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Coooper's Barbecue is very famous; we have tried to eat there before, but the lines were too long. This time it was our first and last time. Our brisket was so full of fat and grease that half of our meat went into the trash. I dislike paying for food by what it weighs and also extra for all the sides. You don't really know what you are getting until you check out. Coopers can't hold a candle to Spring Creek in Dallas area.

Nightly rate based on monthly stay. This is one of the nicest parks we have stayed in. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The sites are level and well maintained. The walking trail and Llano river are very nice. The meeting room/showers/laundry/ excercise room are very well maintained. Wifi works great. We have no complaints at all. We camped at Riverway RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice little place. Very nice hosts. Grounds were very well maintained. Sites were gravel and level with cement strips and grass between sites, offering you privacy. Very quiet area a little south of town. Lots to do in this little town of Llano. Lots of history and nice folks. We camped at Riverway RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Location is just as you cross the Llano bridge from the north, turn right on highway 152. Sites are gravel with one foot wide concrete edges between the gravel drive and grass. There is grass in between the sites and there are a few young trees. There are long pull through sites with utilities at the back. The park is very well maintained. Roads are gravel. They do not have trash pickup at the site. WiFi was pass worded and had excellent speed and strength. Water, electricity, sewer were at the back of the site, great for trailers, but Motorhomes need longer connections. Cable with over 80 channels, but many are duplicates. We will stay here again. We camped at Riverway RV Park in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: March, 2013 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

This is our second stay at this very new and nice RV park. Easy access with good signage (large sign indicating entrance), very good interior roads, sites are all fairly long pull-throughs and 50 amp and full hookup. Plenty of maneuvering room for the big rigs and all sites are satellite-friendly. Good free WiFi. Extremely friendly owners who are on a mission of continuous improvement. Planned for the fall of 2013 is a meeting/gathering hall for rallies. My only issue with the park, and it's a minor one, is the placement of the power pedestals - for a motorhome they are located a little too far to the rear if you pull all the way forward in the site (we had to because we were towing a trailer.) Our power cord was at its maximum extended length, but we did make it work. This will always be our RV park of choice when we are in the Llano area. Highly recommended. We camped at Riverway RV Park in a Motorhome.
