We stated at this park for a week. Although it may be small (27 sites) it boasts game/recreation room, laundry and a fenced dog park. In my opinion the finest feature were two fishing ponds that provided a haven for a Blue heron and Crane. the camp hosts are very friendly and attentive to the campers needs. The park is very clean and quiet, it so peaceful here it should be called an RV retreat. We camped at Magnolia Forest RV Park in a Motorhome.

Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Quite a few "regulars." Nice pond where you can fish (catch and release) Large grassy area by the pond. Gated entrance. Will be staying here again since it is close to where our children live. We camped at Magnolia Forest RV Park in a Motorhome.

Great RV Park. Facility is gated for security. Camping spots are level with cement pads and patio surrounded by trees. We had grandkids come and stay with us one night and they have a nice fire pit where we roasted marshmallows. Bathrooms and laundry room are clean and bright. Rec room/library/tv room is nice. They have cornhole which was fun for the kids. Staff is super friendly and very helpful. The Park was full but was pretty quiet. Mostly adults. Other sites are nearby but we had privacy on our patio side since it was facing the back side of the next camper. We camped at Magnolia Forest RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Nice little town. Used pharmacy, barber, gas station right across the street. Good breakfast at Little Mama's Cafe. Good bar food at Yellow Retriever Pub and Grill. Gotta watch traffic during Rennesance Festival

This is our first RV park as full timers and I must say the bar has been set VERY HIGH! The hosts are awesome and super helpful, the park is very well maintained, the laundry and bathrooms are super clean, and the recreation room is beautiful! The pad we got was along the bank of the lake which is full of beautiful little fish and turtles, surrounded by beautiful trees teaming with tons of birds, and hookups in great condition! We have been here just under a week and, while we are ready to get back on the road, we certainly will miss this place! We camped at Magnolia Forest RV Park in a Motorhome.

A gated RV park with code needed to enter. This is the second time we stayed at this park. Last year seemed to be just a bit nicer. The abundance of sites are filled with permanent residents. The sited are level with full hook ups. No cable and depending on site location, satellite is available. While I said the restrooms were clean, perhaps a little tlc would improve the experience. We may look for another park to stay at next year. We camped at Magnolia Forest RV Park in a Motorhome.

We went to Magnolia Forest for our first ever RV trip and it was the perfect choice! We were greeted by the park host at the gate, received a little goody bag, and were escorted to our site (#23). Our rear living room rig backed up to a beautiful pond (catch and release) and we were surrounded by peace and quiet, trees, birdsong during the day and bullfrogs at night. We wanted a shady, quiet site and got just that. Our site included a small wooden deck, which was perfect for our camp table and some chairs. We did not have room to open up one of our awnings as there was a tree in the way, but it would not have been necessary anyway with the shade, so we did not mind at all. The long-term neighbors on either side were quiet and friendly. Please note: I do not remember the exact rate we paid with our Good Sam discount...sorry. Our pup loved the clean off-leash dog park and we had it to ourselves every visit (poop bags and pooper-scooper provided). We also walked the dog in the wide open space near the pond daily, which is nicely lit at night. There is also a shady trail around the pond for late night walks. Front entrance/exit are code-controlled gates, which was nice. The rec room (with DirecTV, tables for puzzles, and lending library), laundry room, and (huge!) private showers (large shower, bench, toilet and vanity in each) were modern, SUPER clean and always available. There is a dumpster available near the entrance. We had several family members stop by during our stay and parking for guests was plentiful. The park host checked on us several times during our stay and answered lots of "newbie" questions, but was never intrusive. Everything about our stay was perfect and we can't wait to go back! There is a stop-n-shop across the street, but WalMart and other "civilization" is about 25 minutes away in The Woodlands. We camped at Magnolia Forest RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This facility was wonderful. The friendly park host drove up and met us the moment we arrived. The staff was friendly. The park itself was super clean and quiet. A gated park. There was a walking path, a trail, a stocked pond, and an impressive Rec Center. We even enjoyed borrowing books from their library during our stay. This was a fantastic place for a family to stay. Both 30 and 50 amp plugs. Sewer lines drained very well. Onsite laundry available. We camped at Magnolia Forest RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

The WiFi was down (has been down since May, but our paperwork had the password written in, so we were stumped until we checked into it), and we weren't told, nor we we offered a discount due to this. We were not asked if we were eligible for Good Sam or military discount. Washer ruined a shirt. Washers and dryers were full of black dog hair. We have no animals. Otherwise, pretty place. Nice cement pad. No picnic table. We camped at Magnolia Forest RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

This is a brand new RV Park. It is a gated, nice, peaceful park. There are some full timers there but they are not junky. There is a nice place to walk your dog and it has a little lake. The park is a work in progress. The bath house/rec room isn't finished yet. They are also putting in some pull through sites. It is very wooded. Their nightly rate is $45-$60 which I think is a little pricey for the area but it is a very nice place. We camped at Magnolia Forest RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

A new CG. Gravel drives but cement pads. Gated with code. Had SWE, Satellite, wifi. We did not use sat or wifi so no report there. From our walk around the CG it looks like over 90% of sites are booked with residents. Our site and 1, maybe 2 others for sure were for stop over folks like us. All the residents appeared nice.

It has a big dog play area with no poop in it. A nice fishing lake with 12+ inchers in it, nice grass area for yard games or what not, nice camp host, nice little hiking trail in the woods, quiet day/night.

Small ding for no picnic tables at sites yet, (remember this place is new) also no bathroom or showers (which we never use at CG anyway, that is why we have a TT).

It looks like they are developing another nice section next to the lake for pull thru sites. We camped at Magnolia Forest RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Yes, stay at this place. Should be and is a hidden gem. There are other CG in the area which are dumps so be careful to book this one as the others are named similarly.

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

As of May 2015 the park is still being developed. Only about 25 sites are complete, as is main entrance, office, and dog park. They plan to add a store, restrooms/showers, picnic areas, a walking trail, and other amenities in the near future along with quite a few additional sites. There is a small lake on the grounds where they allow catch & release fishing, and I hear it is well stocked.

The staff we have met have been exceptionally friendly, and all the work they've done so far has been first class. This is a nice, private, wooded park now and is going to be a really great place to stay in another 6 months to a year once all of the amenities are in place. If we planned to stay in the Houston/Magnolia area long term this would be my first choice.

Note that the rate we paid was the monthly rate. We camped at Magnolia Forest RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

There a great park about 2 miles away with a playground, skate park, and walking trails (Unity Park). Also, I recommend getting a pizza at La Magnolia Trattoria Italiana while you're in Magnolia.
