1 Park near Mansfield, Texas
May 2016 - $40.00
Park has new owners who increased the rates to $46.00 per night. This is a clean park with a lot of full time residents. The WiFi is not good and either does not allow you to connect or stay connected. If you are lucky and get connected it is very slow. While this is a good park it is over priced for what you get. I will look for another park next time I pass through. - MovinOnDownTheRoad

Made it to Texas with no problems, had a monthly reservation at the Texan RV Resort (Mansfield) via phone for a back-in. When I got my receipt it was for a pull-through (no big deal). We were told that since we weren't going to be coming in until about the 5th that our monthly rent would be pro-rated - it was not.
We arrived and at first our reservation could not be found. Then we were led to a spot that had a travel trailer in it. Then we were told to park in another spot - okay - no problem.
So we pull in, drop the trailer off of the truck and proceed. Then someone in the camp's golf cart comes up and says we have to move to ANOTHER spot.
When I went to clarify what was going on, I was told that a "previous employee" didn't update the computer and then the girl that was on shift the day before yesterday didn't update either.
We were told that we would get $100 off our next month's rent - but what if we don't stay another month? This park was not our first pick in this area.
On a side note, we have a MDT International with a 42' 5th wheel and the first spot would have been tough to get into anyway. The second spot we got into easily (and it had a shade tree with grass). The final spot has no shade and no grass.
When asked why we had to move out of the second spot I was told that THAT spot had been reserved specifically for tomorrow's arrival.
To top it off, Wi-Fi is weak and won't connect.

Visiting Forth Worth for a weekend and stayed three nights. Navigation around the park with our 40 foot 5er was easy. I suspect that at least 75% of the people are long term. The park was well maintained. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Some of the sites are spaced fairly well, others appeared to be very tight. We stayed in D13 and it was not too tight. Roads were good and the site was fairly level. The WiFi service was surprisingly good for as full as the park was. The latency was low and we were able to stream NetFlix with minimal amount of buffering delays. I would stay here again. - cgaskins
