Very quiet and clean with friendly staff. Trash pick up at site. Very easy to level on the cement slab. Nice space in between sites. You are surrounded by water on 3 sides. Nice tree shaded grassy area by water to enjoy. Boat dock. We rented a boat for the day that was delivered to us and put in the water at the parks boat ramp. Great Lake to explore The park is very secure with security gate at entrance. 2 miles off main road with access on a great 2 lane paved road. Lots of space for a big rig If you want a lakeside site better call WAY in advance. These are great with outdoor kitchens directly on the water Will definitely come back! We camped at Sunset Point on Lake LBJ in a Motorhome.

Beautiful park; we come here every spring. Great cable, pretty good wi fi. Everything is immaculate, grounds, restrooms, laundry, etc. No exercise equipment at all. This is pretty much an adult park, with not much for kids to do. Great place for boaters. Not much shade. Most of it is taken up by long termers. We camped at Sunset Point on Lake LBJ in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We enjoy driving the short distance to Burnet and shopping the antique stores. Ate breakfast there at Mama's, which was good. Beautiful drive out to Balcones Wildlife Refuge. Don't recommend Tea Thyme for breakfast unless you are a health food fan. Everything is gluten free health food; we don't plan to go back.

Sunset Point RV Resort is on Lake LBJ just west of Marble Falls, Texas. It is a nice, well maintained, gated, private RV park. We were in premium site #32 with a great view and access to the lake. Rate $63/night for full hookups. Only negatives: low water pressure (<40psi) and slow Tengonet wifi.
It is next to historic Wirtz dam. The park has a mini Enchanted Rock that is great to hike and view the sunset.
Highly recommend. We will definitely return. We camped at Sunset Point on Lake LBJ in a Fifth Wheel.

We have been coming here once a year just about since the park opened. A lovely park with excellent facilities, especially for people with boats, as there is ample boat parking, private boat launch, and marina with boat slips. There is no pool, hot tub, or exercise facility, and I have never seen anyone swimming in the lake, but it is beautiful. Wi fi and cable were very good. Trash picked up at site. Sites are long and level, but not much shade with grass between each site. Country quiet with no planes or trains, but just minutes from town. Everything is immaculate. Very small lending library. Very popular with rallies, making it hard to get in on weekends, so reserve early. We camped at Sunset Point on Lake LBJ in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Not a lot of breakfast places in Marble Falls, but the Bluebonnet Cafe has good breakfasts. The park gives a coupon for free slices of pie, and they are to die for. We ate there at breakfast, took our pie with us to eat in the RV later in the evening. Nearby Burnet is an interesting little town with lots of antique shops. Sweet Berry Farm is very close to the RV Park and is a fun place to go and pick your own strawberries in the spring.

Leaving tomorrow after a 10 day stay. Park was maintained daily and very diligently. Had a back-in for our 42' 5er and it was perfect. Lots of pull-throughs and a dedicated motorhome-only area with brick patios that had built in grills etc. Very nice. Some treed sites, some not. More upscale than most parks. Surrounded by Lake LBJ. Fishing from the bank was marginal, but that would be the fisherman. They call it Sunset Point for a reason, 8 of 10 nights the sunset was stunning! Lear Jets flying in for the weekend. Would highly recommend. We camped at Sunset Point on Lake LBJ in a Fifth Wheel.

Marble Falls is a cute town, but easy access to hill country wineries, bluebonnets and wildflowers, country road trips. Austin is about 40 minutes.

Quiet and beautiful location on the lake. Spacious concrete sites, staff lead us there and helped us get situated. Close enough to town with many restaurants and shopping. Beautiful sunsets over the lake. Few other amenities. Quiet was disrupted several mornings with bath house remodeling, they started at 8 am...could have waited till 10 or so. Ruined those mornings of our short vacation. We camped at Sunset Point on Lake LBJ in a Travel Trailer.

This is a lovely park, set right on LBJ lake. Access is gated and the gates close at 4pm, so access is quite limited and the site is very quiet. The TV and internet connections were okay, not particularly strong, but the facility was well kept and beautiful setting. Given the limited services (no pool, no playground) I think it is a bit over-priced. But it is a nice park if you are looking for a lake-side setting. We camped at Sunset Point on Lake LBJ in a Motorhome.

This is my second review of Sunset Point. We liked it so well after our first visit that we decided to spend two months there. Great place to be winter Texans. Perfectly taken care of, from the grounds to the bathrooms. Good staff, very helpful. Helped us find good restaurants, groomer for our dogs and a beauty salon. Nice clientele, quiet during the week and popular on weekends. It would be wonderful to spend time there during spring or fall when it is a little warmer. Don't need a pool, the lake looks very inviting. There is one nice cottage available. We rented it one week for quests. Worked out nicely. Take advantage of the weekly free breakfast and the monthly pot luck dinners. Good way to meet people. We camped at Sunset Point on Lake LBJ in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Places to visit; Frederickburg and the wineries, Enchanted Rock State Park, Vanishing Texas boat tour of Canyon of the Eagles (we didn't get lucky and saw no eagles) and The Blue Bell Cafe. Lots of reasonably priced restaurants in area and plenty in close by Austin.

This a great small RV park in a beautiful location. We were there in November so it was quiet and a wonderful place to be. The owner/manager was friendly and available. Office staff was great. They were planning a Thanksgiving party. We are sorry we couldn't stay. Bathrooms are very well kept, best set up we have seen. Laundry room was spotless. The whole place was in excellent shape. Wifi was ok but slow, cell service better in some parts of the park and cable was good. Good places to walk your dogs. If you are there in the summer the swimming looks great. There is a community fire pit that looks like a good place to meet other RVers. We will stay there again!! We camped at Sunset Point on Lake LBJ in a Motorhome.

Love this park! Great view of Lake LBJ, quiet, peaceful, and immaculate!
Only suggestion, it would be very nice to provide doggie bags. (Even KOA's have them.)
Our site had a spacious cement patio, and beautiful live oak tree on drivers side, in addition to picnic table on passenger side. Will definitely come back here! We camped at Sunset Point on Lake LBJ in a Motorhome.

We visited this park for two days in late November -- the first major cold front came through while we were there... very windy and cold, but still nice -- and were very happy with the experience. The park was exceedingly clean, well kept, and all the other RVers were friendly as was the staff. There is a large common outdoor fire-pit area where some RVers gather in the evening for conversation. Our site did not have a grill or firepit. Some of the sites were much more elaborate, with outdoor seating and other amenities. The WiFi (TengoInternet) wasn't too terrible, which is to say about the best we've experienced, yet still quite slow. The difference is, it was actually usable (part of the day) for email and even some FB. Verizon LTE, 2-3 bars. The location is very nice with Lake LBJ surrounding the small peninsula the park sits on. The tip of the peninsula is a low granite dome, with patches of cactus and is a very nice area to explore. Overall, this was the nicest RV park we've ever visited. The site was very nice, right next to the office, with full hookups and cable TV (which was fairly good). The pedestal had both 50- and 30-amp outlets, but the 30-amp outlet did not work. (There was also a 15 amp outlet and it did not work, either.) However, since I have a 50-to-30 dogbone, it was a non-issue for me, and I didn't even register a complaint. (Our site was really designed for a much larger rig, as they all are in this park. So, it's possible that few of the rigs they get need 30amp.) They cut off the water once, in the afternoon, for about two hours, but since we found out about it ahead of time, it was again not an issue. (If we hadn't been in the office and been told this, I'm not sure we would have known about it, and then it might have been an issue.) The park is close to Marble Falls, which means access to many services and entertainment. The park is expensive, but for the most part you get what you pay for with this park. We camped at Sunset Point on Lake LBJ in a Motorhome.

This is a great park. Its very clean with spacious sites. There are many water front sites too. We enjoyed fishing from the shore. The restrooms were immaculate. The cocina sites are impressive, expensive but impressive. The downside to this resort is the lack of shade. Tree cover is sparse to non existent through out most of the park. There was quite a bit of boat dock traffic too. Overall the park was very nice and we would stay here again. We camped at Sunset Point on Lake LBJ in a Travel Trailer.

Have NO idea about couple people's comments about "not friendly", etc. I have used this park since built and the manager has turned into a good friend, as ALL the other people on staff! Always get what asked for, always quiet and have NEVER, EVER had one problem. "Streets need to be replaced" by ones comments....Like a subdivision here!! One of the finest we have EVER found in Texas. My only problem was the deer putting antlers on my mirror.

Wonderful Park 7 People! We camped at Sunset Point on Lake LBJ in a Motorhome.

Staff rides around all day on golf carts to harass you. They are not friendly. They have more rules than a prison. They will police you so be ready to meet the golf cart police. Please do not try to have fun they don't like that.

Park is small. Rates are high. Roads need to be replaced. Restrooms smell and our dirty. Too many tight turns to get in. Washrooms are not attended, they are dirty.

They are not pet friendly. They also do not keep reservation that you requested. Be ready to be disappointed. Park is not clean. It is crowded. Hard to find additional parking. We camped at Sunset Point on Lake LBJ in a Fifth Wheel.

Park is nice with great views and RV spaces. Sunny/Open, the site surface was concrete pad, and there was a picnic table.

But service personnel at front desk rude and when we scheduled another stay over a year away paid $100 DEPOSIT. Had to cancel due to work but even though it was a yr off. Would not refund deposit. Not very helpful or cooperative. Will not go back. We camped at Sunset Point on Lake LBJ in a Travel Trailer.
