Fredericksburg about 45 minute drive, is an awesome city with German heritage. Lots of shops and restaurants along with wineries and breweries. Be sure to visit the enchanted rock natural area and hike to the summit. Stop at the Apple general store in Medina for breakfast or lunch, yummy
