2 Parks near Melissa, Texas
Dec 2015 - $40.00
Didn't use restrooms or other facilities and $40.00 to park trailer? Muddy spot and we departed the next AM.
I think the man and woman that checked us in were the owners and they were very friendly and helpful. My biggest complaint is the $40.00 cost to park in the mud and the construction that made it a bit awkward to find the campground. We won't be back. - papacivick
Sep 2015 - $40.00
Decent little park it is just too bad about all the construction on US 75 here. Makes it hard to get in and out of the park.
Sites are decent, pretty level, lots of pine trees in park making it difficult for satellite users. Has free wi-fi if you can get it to work. - hound4
May 2015 - $32.00
This is actually a very nice park. The sites are ample & wide enough. The laundry room has 5 new washers and dryers which were in perfect condition. We were greeted with enthusiasm. I had to have a package FedEx'd to me while staying there & the young man at the office made sure I was notified that it arrived. We would stay here again. - Weapair
Mar 2016 - $35.00
We came to see visit son and daughter in law. This park is close to Frisco and was a perfect location near them. We love the concrete pull thru pads as we are total 52 feet. They have 50 amp we needed and can't find in other locations close by. The managers were helpful on helping us in our site and on directions to local eateries. We will be back to this location in the summer. Lots of open space for children. Thanks. - Selina Thomas
Jan 2015 - $35.00
This park met our needs for a quick overnight pull-thru space with full hookups and 50 amp service. The spaces are certainly long enough for bigger RVs. The park has nice concrete which helped immensely. Will return in March. - Lary R

Texas Star Resort? Really, this is basically a parking lot next to a locked building with concrete slabs and hookups. As was said previously, junk is all over. Only reason we stayed was that we needed a place close to McKinney for relatives. I'm going to a different park next time. If you go there, beware; there's no sign out front and not much help from the owner. Where are the facilities someone (maybe the owner) talked about in a previous post? - magic
