Great for a night's stop over. Next to the County Fairgrounds and Rodeo Arena. Nice park with all pullthrough sites with water & electricity. Dump station on way out. We didn't check out the bathrooms or showers. Park is well-maintained and we saw no trash. The park is a bit hard to find as the county doesn't seem to have a street address for it. They told us to drive out the highway and it was just past the National Guard Armory on the east side of town. They were right, of course, but it does seem odd that a county government can't assign a street address to the entrance so it would be convenient for GPS. Nice hiking trail around the lake. Only a couple of trees in the park. There's a busy railroad track about 3/4 of a mile away, but the noise was distant enough that it wasn't a bother at all. In fact, it was something of a pleasant sound for us. The weeknight rate is $15, and the price increases to $20/night for weekends. A nice overnight stay and good value. - Piperjim

This is a wide open park. We have been there twice as it is on the road as we go from Oklahoma to Colorado. There is no security and there appeared to be homeless people living here in tents. There were also several tent campers. There was one guy who did not speak English that hung around near our camper for while. Turns out, he lives there in a tent and was waiting for someone to pick him up and take him to a job. There were also several people who just drove thru the park at night. Maybe just teen agers cruising or could be thieves making their rounds. As a former cop and state park ranger I would not stay there without a gun the RV. Just so you know. - SWTravelors

Park does have a lake and paved path. Flat, paved sites w/water & 30A, dump station on site. Total self serve registration. Don't bother trying to find at their website, site did not work well and did not list the address. We called, nice lady on phone but she gives TERRIBLE directions for out-of-towners. It is on Hwy 60 (E/B) after it changes to Hwy 152, pay attention or you miss the small sign. Bathroom/showers need to be dozed & rebuilt. Grass was mowed but city residents using the park trash it-garbage strewn all over the place despite an over abundance of garbage cans equally distributed about the park. Fees are $15 Sun-Thurs & $20 Fri-Sat. OK for a "just passin' thru" overnight. - rvrrat520

Nice place for a one night stay. We stopped on a Sunday in mid May and were the only campers there. You pay at a self pay box located at the dump station. Nice setting in the park with shade trees and relatively level sites. Only negative was some train noise at night but it was far enough away, it did not bother us that much. - TexasBill
Mar 2018 - $20.00
This is a part of the county fairground complex located directly off Hwy. 60. There are about 15 shaded sites with water and electric available. We camped there on the first Friday night of Spring Break and we were the only campers. There is no camp host; we paid with a pay envelope. The website (such as it is) says $10 per night, but the sign at the pay station said in big letters "$20.00 per night". The sites were easy to back into and relatively level. There is a large area available in this park to walk your dogs. There is also a dump station. We consider this a very good overnight stop when you are travelling Highway 60, but the town of Canadian is charming if you want to stay for a longer visit. - amarillorvers

Well maintained, shady and clean. Nice place to stay overnight. Lots of green grass for our dogs to enjoy. - SonnyC
Jun 2016 - $25.00
Essentially a sandy gravel lot sloped from entrance to rear. Parking around the perimeter. Site width adequate. All Back in. No effort to level the sloped for each site. All utilities near the rear requiring a long sewer hose. No trees or shrubbery. No on site manager as advertised. Tried the Cable TV - Only got music stations. No over the air TV available. - easydoesit
Jun 2016 - $30.00
Due to recent rains driveway is quite rutted. Needs crushed limestone rather than sandy fines. Sites are roomy but not very well leveled. All utilities at rear of site necessitating a long sewer hose. Owner states he designed them this way to prevent us from backing up over them. Some trees to break the sites up. - easydoesit
Sep 2015 - $32.00
Dirt and grass spaces. Owner allowed us a late check in. Somewhat questionable surroundings. No security. Will not be back. - drw-cpa
Apr 2009 - $26.00
Dirt spaces but fairly level. WiFi and cable worked very well as did my Sprint phone. Only 50 amp available. Since I was only there one night, owner let me borrow adapter. A few RV supplies in the office. Not really pretty but had nice little grassy picnic area. No bathroom or shower, but owner said he is adding that soon. No other amenities. Owner extremely friendly. He led me to my site and hooked everything up for me. Showed me where his house is and gave me his cell phone number. Said if I needed anything to ring his door bell or call. Very quiet. I would stay here again. - gottacruise
