5 Parks near Midland, Texas
Feb 2017 - $31.00
Friendly staff. We stopped for an overnight stay on our way home. The rv sites are all gravel and dirt. Very basic: no concrete or brick pavers, no grass, no picnic tables or grills. It sits next to a landfill. It's okay if you just want an overnight stay. - Bonnie A
Dec 2016 - $35.00
The only RV Park that I stay when visiting this part. Heard horror stories about bad water in other parks. This park has city services and is close to Odessa, easy on easy off. The staff know all all time residents and we feel safe. Close to all restaurants and shops. We got a long pull thru site and we ask for a site in the 64-69 area. Wifi is very good and their cable lineup is good (although I have Dish). Checkout the I-20 Wildlife center that you can walk to. Beautiful. The staff escort you to your site. Nice service. Will stay again. - StanRup
Dec 2016 - $32.00
Called ahead a day before, very helpful. Pull throughs available. We travel in a 45 foot Class A pulling a 25 foot trailer. We fit. Camp hosts and workers are very nice. Great Verizon phone reception. Good place to stop for a night or two. Many here are long term, working, quiet residents. Glad we stopped here. - Tiffin Travelers
Feb 2012 - $60.00
The manager is really strict on stupid stuff like, how you are allowed to park your vehicle, how many pets you are allowed to have, how straight your camper is.. A lot of people are leaving this park this week alone. The manager keeps bringing in FEMA trailers when people leave out so she can rent them at a higher price. We are fixing to find us another RV park that doesn't have such a hateful manager! - MeAndMyCamper
Dec 2016 - $34.00
Best Park in Midland/Odessa area. Friendly staff, very clean restrooms and showers. Little tight but manageable. Nice pool and playground. Convenient location. RV Repair facility just down the street with very good parts selection. - krj89
Dec 2016 - $32.00
Staff was good, clean place for an overnight stay. This is older mainly residential RV park. Sites were narrow and my main concern was the quality of the water. There is a posted warning from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. They did give us a case of water for drinking and said we could use their water for showers and dish washing. We played it safe by not using their water at all. We wanted to stay at a different RV park but I waited too long to make our reservation. Not much out this way so my advice is make your reservations early. We only needed a place for overnight and we're glad we could move on. - Jane and Mike
Nov 2016 - $32.00
We stayed here for 3 nights. We probably would have checked out and moved on after 1 or 2 nights, but they have a strict No Refund policy.
The park had kind of a rough unkempt appearance. Our site was littered with cigarette butts. There are alot of older long-term rigs intermixed with the overnighters, so you might see a new high-end motorcoach right next to a 20-year old rig stabilized on cinder blocks.
The park is located in an industrial looking area about halfway between Midland and Odessa. It's about a 10 mile drive to the nearest stores.
We'd probably choose another park if we're in the area again. - wntrtxn
Jan 2017 - $30.00
Bare bones RV Park. Staff is most accommodating and helpful. Spaces are very wide. This is a working town and I imagine that most people here work for the oil companies and transient. It was adequate for us for one night. We picked this park because it had the higher rating of what was available - cmiller
Dec 2016 - $30.00
For the vacationer, this is a basic, overnight-stay campground. The majority of guests seem to be long term, but all their rigs appear well kept. The campground has long pull throughs, but the gravel and dirt site we were on was uneven. Electric and water pressure were okay, but the WiFi became very slow when, presumably, folks came home from work and got on line. The staff is friendly and helpful. One drawback for RVers stopping for the night is that the campground is 5 or 6 miles off I-20, and not through the best parts of Odessa. Overall, sufficient, especially for 30 bucks. - alanez
Aug 2016 - $40.00
This RV Park is basically an old oil digging site that has been turned into an RV Park. I do not know what happened but it feels as though the owners no longer care about their property. WiFi is extremely s-l-o-w like dial-up slow. There is a playground but I feel uncomfortable and won't let my children play anywhere here. The water pressure to shower, wash dishes is horrible, not even worth plugging into. You are better off saving your money and sleeping a few hours at a rest area. Good to stay overnight to rest and that is it. - Sassyea
