3 Parks near Midland, Texas
Apr 2016 - $35.00
Good stopping point point on the way back home. Lots of full timers but they have a section for overnighters. Don't go with GPS directions. Lots of construction. Get directions from the office.
Facilities are good. Water pressure, voltage, level gravel sites, etc. They have two dog runs, we used the one on the back that is longer. Wifi is super nice. Lots of antennas to choose from. Lady at front desk is very nice.
Watch the road from the frontage road to the campground. The city is redoing it now; go very slow.
Would come back again. - jwhitehead
Mar 2016 - $31.00
This park is only for a night stopover. But it is full of working folks in the area. They do keep a section open for travelers, several pull-throughs. It is dusty, dusty. Construction going on on the frontage road in front of it and the side road, had a rough time finding the park because of detours. - retiredblade
Mar 2016 - $28.00
The park is relatively convenient to I-20, but not close to restaurants and other attractions. The frontage road for I-20 is asphalt but in poor condition, and the road to the RV park is dirt and in horrific condition. The small sites made parking my truck where it would be out of the way a challenge. The staff escorted me to the site but brought me in such that I had to back in blind when he easily could have brought me in a different way. Unintentional I'm sure, but unknowledgeable or not thinking. Lots of oil field workers are semi-permanent, and there are lots of testosterone-laden (noisy) diesel rigs in and out regularly. - retiredfflarry
Feb 2012 - $60.00
The manager is really strict on stupid stuff like, how you are allowed to park your vehicle, how many pets you are allowed to have, how straight your camper is.. A lot of people are leaving this park this week alone. The manager keeps bringing in FEMA trailers when people leave out so she can rent them at a higher price. We are fixing to find us another RV park that doesn't have such a hateful manager! - MeAndMyCamper
