Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $30.00
Small, older park with easy access to the highway. Texas has been through severe drought for last 5 years and so this park is not as pretty as it probably once was. Very tall trees. Limited landscaping. Quite a few "seasonals" that look abandoned but keep in mind we are here late in the year. Pool looks okay; did not visit laundry or bathrooms. Most rigs pull in for a night or two and move on elsewhere. Front office staff were very nice as were the RVers. We camped at Mount Pleasant KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $36.00
Nice KOA, we stayed for one night on our way back to central Texas. We did laundry, showered, etc. We arrived late afternoon so we stayed put in the RV. Cable tv worked fine with a good number a channels and a good amount of shade around us. Unfortunately the pool was out of commission, but they told us this when we called ahead. Good one night stop. Our site was very long and level. We kept the toad connected annd still had space to park at least one more care if needed. We camped at Mount Pleasant KOA in a Motorhome.
Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $27.00
Beautiful bathroom. Very clean and modern. Plenty of room in the shower stall. Campground was very well laid out. Sites were roomy. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Good stop over while on the road. We camped at Mount Pleasant KOA in a Motorhome.
Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $36.00
Fairly standard KOA, park was clean, signs were old and gave the appearance of being rundown but the hook-ups were in good condition and the site was very level. Required no additional leveling to remain hooked up for an overnight stay. Store was well stocked and the park owner checked us out. Very friendly gentleman who was happy to have another customer. Would stay here again for an overnight; one of the better priced KOA campgrounds. We camped at Mount Pleasant KOA in a Travel Trailer.
Park was very quiet. Lots of shady spots. Most spaces on concrete pads; however we had to pull tall weeds before we could hook up the water and sewer. The sites with grass by them were mowed but the sites with gravel had weeds growing up in the gravel and had not been groomed very well. We didn't notice the traffic much and the Wi-Fi and cable worked perfect. We were here several nights and other than the weeds in the spaces, the park was pleasant. We had no pets or children and can't comment on the pool. We camped at Mount Pleasant KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $38.00
Our first time here. Very convenient to I-30. Price was with KOA card and was a pull-through (concrete), 50 amp full hookup site with a patio set. We could hear I-30 road noise but it was not very loud. No problem. Small campground. We'd stay here again. We camped at Mount Pleasant KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
Date of Stay: November, 2013 - $30.00
Interior roads are gravel, most sites are gravel and level, some concrete pads, facilities worked well, wifi is excellent, there are satellite friendly sites, had an escort to site and they offered to help set up. Staff were friendly, park is clean. Rate reflects KOA discount incl taxes for 30 amp pull thru. Some road noise from the interstate. We would stay here again. We camped at Mount Pleasant KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $33.00
Small, older KOA that is well maintained. Friendly staff, eager to help; we were escorted to our site and had to move to another one because of trees and our satellite. Some newer cement pull-thoughs; they charge $3 more for cement pads. Easy in and out off of Hwy 30 heading in either direction. We would stay here again if passing through the area. We camped at Mount Pleasant KOA in a Motorhome.
Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $33.00
Nice campground. Reservations were easy over the phone. Check-in was quick. Owners showed me to my site. Sites were a mix of gravel and concrete pads. I was in a pull-through site and it was roomy, easy in/easy out. The campground was quiet with moderate highway traffic noise at night. This campground was located convenient to I-30. The campground has a propane refill station and a small store on site. We camped at Mount Pleasant KOA in a Travel Trailer.
This is a lovely park with lots of trees and grass. Not too big, not too small. Plenty of room for the kids to ride their bikes without getting too far away. Nice playground and pool. KOA at its finest. Concrete pads, excellent wi-fi, nice people. Strongly recommended. We camped at Mount Pleasant KOA in a Truck Camper.
Date of Stay: January, 2013 - $34.00
This was our second stay here, a very nice place to spend a night or several days. Right off the highway so easy to find, staff friendly and helpful. Nice concrete pads, great hook ups. Bathrooms and showers are updated and clean. We camped at Mount Pleasant KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
Park was clean and the staff very helpful. Sites were level. Some traffic noise but not overwhelming. The facilities were in really good shape. Small store, small pool, and game room. Pond was small but very nice. We would stay here again. We camped at Mount Pleasant KOA in a Motorhome.
