Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

We had never stayed at this RV park when we made reservations in April for the first 2 weeks of August, but the reviews were overall very good. We developed concerns after the very negative posting by a disgruntled camper in May, but were pleasantly surprised to find the park truly a jewel in the DFW area. The May posting is misleading to say the least: the park is not "in an industrial Park", but adjacent to a very quiet upscale commercial area and is surrounded on 3 sides by open fields and beautiful vistas. There are shade trees throughout. Sites vary (and are priced accordingly) from a few small ones (for small travel trailers) to spacious (the majority), level, compressed gravel or concrete and well drained. Overall a very quiet well-kept park, with regularly mowed green grass everywhere (thanks to an extensive sprinkler system). No cable (unless you are on a monthly rate, and then you have to request it and pay extra), but we got about 20 antenna channels plus used a satellite dish. There are a few long-term campers, who have decorated their sites very tastefully with potted plants, recliner chairs, outdoor carpeting, BBQ grills, etc. This is NOT "trailer trash" by any means! The free internet service was surprisingly strong (we are accustomed to being disappointed at RV park "free WiFi" claims). The staff was friendly and helpful, and the swimming pool crystal clear with a waterfall at one end. Will definitely stay here again! We camped at Northlake Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

We've stayed at this park 3 or 4 times while visiting family in the area. The sites are compacted gravel, and ours had a concrete patio. There seems to be a growing number of long term residents, but those sites are well maintained. Unfortunately, most of the long term folks seem to have the shaded sites, so we were in the hot Texas sun. Our site was fairly flat requiring very little to reach 'level'. The WiFi was pretty good (used our booster) and we got between 3-6 Mbps download. Didn't have cable at our site, but picked up about 60 local stations OTA. The pool was clean and most welcomed with the 107+ degree heat index. No picnic tables. I hope they continue to have sites for short term rentals and we will definitely be back. We camped at Northlake Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

Large, open site easy to back into. Site was paved with fine gravel and level. Utilities were at the side towards the year, very accessible. Small pool but the grand kids loved it. Wifi was down during our stay. There is no cable. Nice place near Dallas, very quiet and well kept. Will stop here again. We camped at Northlake Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very nice RV park near Fort Worth, shopping, and the main roads. All sites are back-ins with full hook ups, some are shady but most are in the open. Streets are paved and the sites are packed gravel with a concrete patio. Lots of grass between sites and around the park. The mangers are friendly and accommodating. There is a mix of short term people and long term stays, but everything is kept neat and clean. Bathrooms, laundry room and fitness room are modern and clean. This is a good place for an overnight or a long term stay. We camped at Northlake Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

If you stay here one or two nights as a stop over, you will be put in a site at the front of the park. All traffic in and out of the park goes right in front of you.

When I made reservation, I was told the site had a concrete pad with a patio. The reality is a gravel site with a small concrete strip (patio). There are no tables and there are large (residential) garbage cans on the site (see photo).

The pool area is nice and has a water feature, however it is closed early.
We were sitting and enjoying the water and asked to leave at 7PM.

Overall a clean park, but not what I would consider a resort. We camped at Northlake Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

Thank you very much for the feedback on your visit. Sorry about the confusion on the site surface. All of our sites are a compacted gravel and some, like yours, have a concrete patio. We try to put short term visitors at the front of the park for the convenience of easy in and easy out. Sorry that there was a lot of traffic during your stay. We close the pool at dusk for safety reasons. The garbage cans at each site are also for your convenience. Guests don't have to make a long walk to a smelly dumpster and it helps to keep the park clean and litter free. We thank you for visiting us and appreciate taking the time to give us your feedback. We hope that you will consider us for your future visits.

Lovely, well maintained campground, easy to access and get around to your space. Very spacious lots, full hook ups with reliable power/water. There seem to be many full timers there, but all very neat and clean with large size lots. This park has a very nice feel to it. We camped at Northlake Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

Close to Ft Worth and stores. The only thing I don't like is the gravel pads. I've got 4 rock chips from the lawn mowers, and they try to be careful. We camped at Northlake Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

Having stayed there before, it was acceptable, but this time, gosh!

There is a real problem with a park taking your reservations, charging your card, and Not telling you their entrance road was closed! When we got there they said we had to take our 44 foot RV and toad through a parking lot, on a gravel road with low hanging branches, etc. and wouldn't think about giving us a refund ! We camped at Northlake Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

We're very sorry for the city road construction coming into our park. What was only going to take a few weeks turned into months due to unusual amounts of rain fall. The road is nearly finished now and will be brand new. We really appreciate your business and hope that you will come see us again in the future.

We stayed here two nights to visit friends living nearby. It's a big RV park with a mix of resident and transients. We did not use any of the facilities as we were with our friends except when we returned to sleep in the rig. Verify that you are getting the type of site you have reserved before paying the balance owed. Sites are gravel; ours had a small patio (not all do); no grill or picnic table either. The road to the campground is narrow and could use repaving, but roads within the campground are OK even with the tow vehicle hooked up. Our site was not level even though we were told it was if we pulled all the way back. We found it to slope towards the front end. We camped at Northlake Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

Would have rated higher but the road going into the park is atrocious. Huge potholes and the trees aren't trimmed back so you will end up with scratches because oncoming traffic is speeding down the road. Blind corner limits ability to use the center of the road. If road was improved this would be a '9'. We camped at Northlake Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a nice, very clean park. We stopped for one night and it was just right. Concrete patio with gravel pad, nice and level. This park has many long term residents with all the grounds kept very clean. The road into the park needs repair and is rough, but hardly worth not visiting this park. Slim pickings in this area, but this park has full hookups and is clean. We would stay again. This is not a destination park but is great if you have other activities in the area. We camped at Northlake Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is not really an RV park for transients. There are only 6 or 7 spots--all back in for non permanent campers. Sites are deep and quite good. They are gravel with a concrete "patio" and apron. WiFi was good as was satellite reception. Staff do not seem interested nor prepared for transients so no brochures for park or area information. Reception, in fact, left me cold. Road into the park is virtually one lane and quite potholed. We will not stay here again. We camped at Northlake Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

Mobile homes ring the outside of the park with a good mix of trailers, 5th wheels and motor homes interspersed. Large grassy spaces and trees provide nice greenery. Wi-Fi is slow. Water pressure good. No cable TV but good satellite exposure. Convenient to Ft. Worth and I-35W. Friendly neighbors and office staff. We camped at Northlake Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

Clean, nicely kept, and the sites are ample size. Each has a concrete patio. Previous comments about limited office hours are correct, and it was closed when we arrived on a Sunday. We parked where we were told when we called for reservations. The only negative is that our site was so far from level that both back wheels of the motorhome came off the ground when we tried to level. I placed 4" blocks under both back wheels, leveled again and the outside dual on the right side still was not making contact with the block. This could be a great park if they would level the gravel sites. We camped at Northlake Village RV Park in a Motorhome.
