Overall Rating:

This is a large, older well managed park. Probably 90% permanent residents and 10% open for mobile RV use. Our site was on a large circle (back in), plenty of room, great patio (no table), really nice grass and tree which gave a little shade to the back of our RV. Swimming pool at front of park and not within walking distance. A large trash container on our site. No easy access and GPS will guide you down a ridiculous semi used road...use exit 70 off 114 and then Dale Earnhardt Way. If I ding this park it would be for the insane overuse of speed bumps! Truly the worst speed bumps in an RV park ever....ugh! We camped at Northlake Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a very nice, quiet, well-maintained RV park located less than a mile from I-35W and within visiting distance of Fort Worth (about 20 miles away). Staff was friendly and helpful. Streets are paved and wide enough but watch out for the very high and unmarked speed bumps. Sites are all back-in, gravel, FHU, and with an open grass area behind them. Some sites are spacious and some are quite close together. Some are in the open and some are shaded. There is a nice laundry with 4 washers and dryers. The bathrooms/showers are modern and clean but are only located in the office area, so your rig must be self-contained. There is a small but nice swimming pool and covered patio and a fitness center. There is a brand new medium sized fenced dog park and green space for walking a dog. The WiFi worked well most of the time. This is a good place for an overnight or a long term stay. We camped at Northlake Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Walmart, fast food restaurants, and shopping was 3 miles. Texas NASCAR Speedway was 2 miles making it great to attend a race. Many surrounding cities including Ft Worth, Grapevine, Irving, Dallas, etc. were all within an hour drive. They were worth a visit but you need the put up with road construction and traffic.

We've stayed at this park 3 or 4 times while visiting family in the area. The sites are compacted gravel, and ours had a concrete patio. There seems to be a growing number of long term residents, but those sites are well maintained. Unfortunately, most of the long term folks seem to have the shaded sites, so we were in the hot Texas sun. Our site was fairly flat requiring very little to reach 'level'. The WiFi was pretty good (used our booster) and we got between 3-6 Mbps download. Didn't have cable at our site, but picked up about 60 local stations OTA. The pool was clean and most welcomed with the 107+ degree heat index. No picnic tables. I hope they continue to have sites for short term rentals and we will definitely be back. We camped at Northlake Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

Not fancy, but clean. We had a huge lot and were very comfortable there. The only down side for me was, at that time, the equipment in the fitness center was in disrepair. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Northlake Village RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

For our purpose of just needing a place to stop for the night, this park was fine. When I called to make the reservation, the lady was helpful in trying to find us a discount through various groups. We did not use the pool or fire pit area, but they looked very nice. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. There looked to be several community picnic tables, none at individual sites. There seemed to be quite a few permanent sites, but all were neatly kept. This would be a great location if you are going to the Texas Motor Speedway. We camped at Northlake Village RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Close to Ft Worth and stores. The only thing I don't like is the gravel pads. I've got 4 rock chips from the lawn mowers, and they try to be careful. We camped at Northlake Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed for three nights while visiting friends in the area. A very nice park. Nice layout, friendly staff, nice sites, good utilities, free wifi (slow, as usual), very clean laundry facilities, quiet. Staff said that 80-90% of sites are long-termers who are working in the area. However, all rigs and sites are clean and well kept.

The only downside to this place is a temporary one and it is the reason for only rating it an 8. The entrance road passes by a large new complex of tilt-up industrial buildings. Due to the construction, the entrance road for the park includes about 1/4 mile of dirt/gravel/busted asphalt. It was very rough and muddy due to rains during our visit. I think everyone is hoping that it will be fixed and improved as the construction winds down. But no indication when that will be.

The park is less than a mile from the Texas Motor Speedway and would be a great place to stay if in the area. I understand it is also close to the Amazon distribution center, but does not participate in the Camperforce program.

We would recommend it and would stay there again if in the area. We camped at Northlake Village RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Thank you very much for your nice review of our park. We always appreciate feedback. Good news! The road construction is finished and we have a new concrete road from Hwy 114 right to our front gate. It's not the same path as the old one so it may take Google and GPS a while to catch up but it's clearly marked. Thank you for being our guest and we hope you will stop and see us again.

Stayed overnight on two occasions. Nice park layout and close to interstate as well as the restaurant area of Roanoke (which is pretty neat). Park was clean. Construction along entrance road made a muddy mess. Pool was closed for season but looked nice. There was no storm facility and we were there during very heavy thunderstorm including tornadoes in Southeast Dallas. We camped at Northlake Village RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Large, clean park. Sites vary - some are concrete, some gravel, some fairly tight, many are spacious. Ours (84B) was gravel, long and level. There is a large "green space" that was great for walking our dogs. Laundry was clean, pool looked nice, and WiFi worked fine. Be aware - when you make a reservation the $35 deposit is non-refundable; so be sure your plans don't change. Access road is rough, due to construction, but roads within the Park are good. We will stay here again when in the area. We camped at Northlake Village RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very large park. Lots of activities and park traffic. - Mostly permanent mobile homes and work campers, but some sites for traveling campers. Very clean and well maintained, but regimented, rather sterile atmosphere with lots of rules. Internet did not work and we were very close to office. Thank you very much for your feedback. We have updated our Wi-Fi and service is much better now. We only have three mobile homes left in the park and they will soon be gone to make room for more large RV sites. We really appreciate you business and hope you will return soon.

Would have rated higher but the road going into the park is atrocious. Huge potholes and the trees aren't trimmed back so you will end up with scratches because oncoming traffic is speeding down the road. Blind corner limits ability to use the center of the road. If road was improved this would be a '9'. We camped at Northlake Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

Daily rate is averaged from monthly rate plus electric. We stayed there for 6 months. Quiet park in the country. Access road to the park is very rough. Proceed with caution. Interior roads are paved and in excellent shape. The park is well maintained and is very clean. This is an old MHP that has been converted to an RV park. Sites are gravel and mostly level. Many sites have concrete patios. This park is 95% long term monthly renters. It is not a destination park. There are about 10 sites for overnight campers. We camped at Northlake Village RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is not really an RV park for transients. There are only 6 or 7 spots--all back in for non permanent campers. Sites are deep and quite good. They are gravel with a concrete "patio" and apron. WiFi was good as was satellite reception. Staff do not seem interested nor prepared for transients so no brochures for park or area information. Reception, in fact, left me cold. Road into the park is virtually one lane and quite potholed. We will not stay here again. We camped at Northlake Village RV Park in a Motorhome.
