We pulled into this park expecting more than we found. The left side is permanent private RV lots made into small dwellings. The right side is the RV park. The gravel road was bad. The above ground pool was empty and in bad shape. The people staying there looked like permanent residents or very long term campers. There was a small building with one men's and one women's restrooms. This campground is long "over the hill". We left and found a much nicer RV Park down the road. We camped at Cowboy Capital in a Travel Trailer.

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

Small park with few amenities but very friendly owner. All sites are level, gravel and separated, not crowded. We love this little park. It's out in the country, has decent access to San Antonio, Berne and Bandera. Good area for birding also. We will be back, in fact are planning on it. We camped at Cowboy Capital in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: February, 2009 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Park has a lot of trees, gravel sites (mostly level), very quiet. Owner/operators are very friendly and courteous. There are deer and chickens wandering through the campground. There is availability to pen your horse or longhorn steer. Park is clean and well maintained. 6 1/2 miles from Bandera, "The Cowboy Capital of Texas", it is also the nicest camp ground we found in the area. Lots of room on sites. We camped at Cowboy Capital in a Motorhome.
