Very nice city park in a relatively quiet residential neighborhood. The park itself is well maintained, but the RV utilities are in various states of repair. There is no host, just a self pay box. I enjoyed the stay here, and would have stayed longer, except there is no cell signal, even with an antenna, and no public wifi in town. I even had some trouble with my onstar phone, which usually works in no cell areas. The sites have sewer hookups, but they are not conveniently placed, so you may not be able to hookup while you are there, but you can use it as you leave. We camped at Rising Star RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice city run RV park in a city park just at the edge of town. Very convenient if you are traveling toward south TX on TX-183. Nice walking trail around the park. There's a covered pavilion with picnic tables, rest rooms and an outstanding veterans memorial listing all the soldiers in the county that gave their lives for their country from the Civil War to the present. Highly recommend. We camped at Rising Star RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
