Date of Stay: March, 2013 - $25.00
Stayed for 1 week so daily rate based on this. Combo paved/gravel roads, cement pads were level.Low lying trees make it difficult for a higher RV to move around. The RV Park is approximately 5 miles south of Rockport so not centrally located. Would stay here again. We camped at Last Resort Motel and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
Date of Stay: January, 2013 - $11.00
Rate is based on a weekly stay. Good price, nice looking park and sites. Great location to shopping, sights and dining. Also good shade. Only drawbacks are low hanging trees to watch for and the fact they don't take reservations more than 60 days out, which means you're not sure you can get back in the next year. Other than that, this is one of the best in Rockport. Friendly workers and owners, level sites and good neighbors. Will be back if I can get a spot next year. We camped at Last Resort Motel and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
Date of Stay: March, 2009 - $40.00
This is primarily a fishing resort, with cabins and a motel, as well as concrete RV sites. The sites are nicely sized, and are under the stately old oak trees along the bay. Roads are gravel but have curbs in places. Our site had a lamp post on the drive, which was nice as the park is very dark at night. Wi-fi and cable TV worked well. Showers were next to the office, but we were in the newest part to the back of the camp ground. We had to drive the car or ride the bike to the bathroom. The laundry left something to be desired, as it was not too clean. It was alright to a man's standards, but the wife said we are going into town. This is located on the old business 35 highway 5 miles South of Rockport. The Big Fisherman restaurant is around the corner on Hwy 188. That is an experience in itself. I'm sure we'll be back. We camped at Last Resort Motel and RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
