The couple that runs the park is great. Very friendly and helpful. The community of snowbirds is also very close-knit - they have events in the rec room nearly every night (potluck dinners, karaoke, etc) and get together to drink coffee nearly every morning. The park is kept in good repair. The only downsides are that the sites are very tight. We had a back-in and had a pretty hard time getting our 35' TT into the site, we had to ask a few other residents to move their vehicles so we had adequate space. Also, while there is a small swimming pool, there isn't much else here. If you want to do anything, you're going to be driving. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again if in the area. Tips for other Campers:
Rockport Donuts is excellent. The Rockport beach is great - perfect for kids or those who don't want waves. If you want waves, head for Padre Island in Corpus Christi.
We stayed at the park for 2 weeks. The internet service was outstanding and cable tv was good.Verizon wireless service was a full 4G and worked flawlessly. My wife works from home and the internet has to be good at rv parks that we stay in. I will say that route 1069 rv park has the best wifi of any rv park we have stayed and it is FREE!!!!!
Best park in Rockport TX
Restrooms and showers were clean, private and large.
We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Route 1069 RV Resort in a Motorhome.
We paid $230 for a month plus electric. Very good price for staying in Rockport. The owners are friendly and make you feel very welcome. They have Karaoke every Saturday night with either a potluck or pizza for a donation. What made this park so special is the people who winter-over here. They made us feel like family. We were close to the road and a little noisy but it calms down at night. Large, clean laundry room with plenty of washers and dryers. We will stay here again on a return trip. We camped at Route 1069 RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed 2 nights and enjoyed the park and the guests. Well managed park. Maintenance was good with no problems encountered. Good location. WI-FI was "iffy" and cable TV was hit and miss, but altogether was a good experience. This is my favorite RV park in this area. We camped at Route 1069 RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $6.00
The owners of this park are very friendly and available to help you out in any way they can. They will help you in getting set up and are willing to answer any questions. This is not exactly a resort, but if you want a place to spend some time without all the hustle and bustle of constant activity, this is the place to be. We stayed here for four months, and really enjoyed it. Great place, great people. The laundry facilities are more than adequate and the recreation hall is equipped with TV, stereo, pool tables Karaoke, and kitchen facilities. Horseshoe pits and outdoor BBQ are also provided. The park is within a short walk or even driving distance from convenience facilities. Rate shown in this review is based on monthly rate. We camped at Route 1069 RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
