ok KOA. Our particular site 141 was so unlevel that we could not use our jacks and therefor could not use our slides. It rained the night we were there and it was a river down our site. We camped at San Angelo KOA in a Motorhome.

The park is well maintained with level gravel sites long enough for our 35ft motorhome and tow. Top to tail parking enabled wide spaces between sites. Picnic table provided at sites but very little shade. Good wifi and cable. Trash is collected at site daily or you can use the bins. The park was quite quiet the 2 nights we stayed. Very little road noise. We would use again if in the area. We camped at San Angelo KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

A visit to Fort Concho is a must. We had a lovely meal at Miss Hattie's Bar & Restaurant and then took a tour of Miss Hattie's Bordello. Both tours were extremely interesting, but for very differing reasons, and we highly recommend both.

Park is kept very clean and well maintained. Strong wi-fi. Trash picked up at your site. Restrooms-showers were spotlessly clean. All staff very friendly and helpful. Near the lake. Shopping and groceries pretty close. Really nice park. We will be back. We camped at San Angelo KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

San Angelo has many attractions. Fort Concho museum, an intact frontier calvary post, is well worth seeing. Shopping on Concho St, Miss Hatties- an old bordello now a museum, and the rodeo in March are all interesting. Fishing on the lakes and rivers and deer hunting in the area is pretty good.

Overnight stay. Alternating-direction sites with shared hookups between. All gravel (It's West Texas, after all.) but fairly well maintained. 80 pounds of water pressure, so bring a good regulator. Average Wifi probably because the campground wasn't full. Good AT&T and Verizon cell service. Really friendly staff, professional and competent but laid-back and enjoying themselves. We camped at San Angelo KOA in a Travel Trailer.

We are in San Angelo Tx frequently either passing through on a trip or visiting. The San Angelo KOA is very clean and nice, we always enjoy our stay. The best thing about this KOA is the staff. These folks go out of there way to make sure you have a good stay. We camped at San Angelo KOA in a Motorhome.

We rarely stay at a KOA but we might be tempted in the future. This one is super clean and very well maintained. It was easy to get to and such friendly and welcoming staff. The utilities are well maintained. The water lines are insulated. Cable was great. Yes, the entire park is gravel but it's little pebble gravels (I think it's called pea gravel?) not the big stuff! The pull through was very long and we didn't have to unhitch if we didn't want to. We were on our way to Big Bend so we only stayed one night but we would definitely stay again if in the area. We camped at San Angelo KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

This has to be the cleanest KOA we have ever stayed in. The owner and staff were very helpful. Trash pickup and a paper at our door everyday. We received a discount because we stayed a week, not shown in original price. We would stay here again. We camped at San Angelo KOA in a Travel Trailer.

GPS took us right to the San Angelo KOA. The interior roads and sites were gravel. We were in a long pullthru and the hookups were convenient with two sewer connections depending on which end of the site you chose. We had a satellite friendly site with a nice patio. Although KOAs are generally more expensive than most parks, this one was more reasonably priced, we have started staying more and more. Site unseen you can generally count on a KOA as a good park because sometimes we have been fooled by the website and reviews of other parks and haven't enjoyed our stay. We would stay at this KOA again as there is a lot to do in San Angelo if we came back again. We camped at San Angelo KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

This was only the second time we've stayed at a KOA in over 20 years of RVing. We spent the week between Christmas and New Year's here (buy 6 nights, the 7th is free). Boy, did this place "sell" us on them! Not only was the park very nice, the owners (2 couples) were outstandingly friendly and helpful. In addition to the regular services, we had trash pickup at our site and a daily newspaper delivered to our site. The Wifi was excellent! (a rarity at RV parks). We will definitely return and even try another KOA soon. We camped at San Angelo KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

First, visit the exceptional Visitor Center in San Angelo -- you will leave with an armful of maps and brochures. There's LOTS to do in the area! If you happen to be there around Christmas time, don't miss the spectacular light display along the river.

Used this park as an overnight stop. Large, level pull-thru site allowed me to keep tow car hooked up. Also had a nice, clear sky for the rooftop satellite and hookups were well-placed. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at San Angelo KOA in a Motorhome.

We stayed for the 4th time for 19 days. We are vendors and attend the Stockshow and Rodeo every year. One call, they remember who we are and try their best to fill our request to be close to the front and bathrooms. Cleanest and nicest park! Managers and owners are all working hard daily to make improvements but those are above board in my opinion. They deliver daily paper and pick up trash on site. We stayed in our truck camper after setting it off the truck...used it to go back and forth to rodeo grounds. They have access to wonderful walking "trail" (it's a road) but locals love it! The sites are all they should be...level, clean, have tables, some grass, ok spacing and ease of all connections. The store is great; foods, ice, ice cream! and again, the nicest staff ever!!! I saw the nice dog park but don't have pets. The restrooms (a very big deal to me) are always clean with the exception of the busloads of stockshow kids who stay in a cabin for 1-2 nights....kids have no respect for the property or anyone else who may use it. The staff gets to the cleaning as quickly as the kids leave. I have no negatives...wifi is good and even the noise from planes-in the flight path on some days, does not bother me. I would recommend to anyone! We camped at San Angelo KOA in a Truck Camper.
