Stopped here as an overnight in route to San Antonio. Friendly staff. Trash is picked at the site which we really like. Very good antenna but they also have cable. We camped at San Angelo KOA in a Motorhome.

No negatives about this campground. Smooth check-in. Follow-me to space. All hookups convenient. Short distance on Knickerbocker Rd off Loop 306. Handy for ASU events and shopping. Call ahead just to be safe. Fills up late. We camped at San Angelo KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

GPS took us right to the San Angelo KOA. The interior roads and sites were gravel. We were in a long pullthru and the hookups were convenient with two sewer connections depending on which end of the site you chose. We had a satellite friendly site with a nice patio. Although KOAs are generally more expensive than most parks, this one was more reasonably priced, we have started staying more and more. Site unseen you can generally count on a KOA as a good park because sometimes we have been fooled by the website and reviews of other parks and haven't enjoyed our stay. We would stay at this KOA again as there is a lot to do in San Angelo if we came back again. We camped at San Angelo KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

This has to be the cleanest KOA we have ever stayed in. The owner and staff were very helpful. Trash pickup and a paper at our door everyday. We received a discount because we stayed a week, not shown in original price. We would stay here again. We camped at San Angelo KOA in a Travel Trailer.

This was only the second time we've stayed at a KOA in over 20 years of RVing. We spent the week between Christmas and New Year's here (buy 6 nights, the 7th is free). Boy, did this place "sell" us on them! Not only was the park very nice, the owners (2 couples) were outstandingly friendly and helpful. In addition to the regular services, we had trash pickup at our site and a daily newspaper delivered to our site. The Wifi was excellent! (a rarity at RV parks). We will definitely return and even try another KOA soon. We camped at San Angelo KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

First, visit the exceptional Visitor Center in San Angelo -- you will leave with an armful of maps and brochures. There's LOTS to do in the area! If you happen to be there around Christmas time, don't miss the spectacular light display along the river.

Used this park as an overnight stop. Large, level pull-thru site allowed me to keep tow car hooked up. Also had a nice, clear sky for the rooftop satellite and hookups were well-placed. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at San Angelo KOA in a Motorhome.

We stayed one night and were impressed with how clean the park is as well as the quality of the showers and bathrooms. Additionally, the wifi is pretty good. It slows down in the evening but is still strong enough for streaming if you allow for front-loading. We camped at San Angelo KOA in a Motorhome.

We stayed for the 4th time for 19 days. We are vendors and attend the Stockshow and Rodeo every year. One call, they remember who we are and try their best to fill our request to be close to the front and bathrooms. Cleanest and nicest park! Managers and owners are all working hard daily to make improvements but those are above board in my opinion. They deliver daily paper and pick up trash on site. We stayed in our truck camper after setting it off the truck...used it to go back and forth to rodeo grounds. They have access to wonderful walking "trail" (it's a road) but locals love it! The sites are all they should be...level, clean, have tables, some grass, ok spacing and ease of all connections. The store is great; foods, ice, ice cream! and again, the nicest staff ever!!! I saw the nice dog park but don't have pets. The restrooms (a very big deal to me) are always clean with the exception of the busloads of stockshow kids who stay in a cabin for 1-2 nights....kids have no respect for the property or anyone else who may use it. The staff gets to the cleaning as quickly as the kids leave. I have no negatives...wifi is good and even the noise from planes-in the flight path on some days, does not bother me. I would recommend to anyone! We camped at San Angelo KOA in a Truck Camper.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. We arrived right before a snow storm and they made sure we had a spot. You will find a newspaper at your door each morning, nice little twist. Good over night spot and big rig friendly. Would stop again. We camped at San Angelo KOA in a Motorhome.

Nice place for the area in the cooler months. Gravel lot, a few sites with trees for some shade, but most sites on the open. Many sites share hookup pedestals, making them very close together. Restrooms were clean, but had showerheads extending from ceiling pipes. We have stayed in other parks in the area and this one is the best so far. We camped at San Angelo KOA in a Motorhome.

We use this park as an overnight stay when traveling from Texas to Colorado. I gave the park a 10 rating this time because of the excellent service that I received that was above and beyond the normal service. The rubber gasket that is between the roof and side of camper came loose and was over the slide out topper; therefore, I was not sure I would be able to extend the slide out. The owner brought out a ladder and climb up and put the gasket back in it track in a 104 degrees in the heat of the day. The park hosts were very helpful and friendly as well. In this campground it is worth paying the extra for a premium site. We camped at San Angelo KOA in a Travel Trailer.

The sites and interior roads are gravel. We were there for one night, and the site we were in was in front near the bathrooms. These sites are right next to each other, alternating the direction of the trailers with the utilities very close to each other. I kept almost bumping into our neighbor's slide out when I was hooking up the utilities. This was fine for an overnight stay; other sites toward the back of the park looked to have more room. Our site was not at all level (I used 2 sets of lynx levelers to get level). The park is very near an airport which was loud during the day, but quiet at night. The bathrooms were modern and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would stay here again if we are in the area. We camped at San Angelo KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Very easy to find. Good interior roads with no overhanging trees. Long pull through sites with concrete patios. You won't have to unhook your toad unless you want to visit the area. They don't have picnic tables but have wrought iron tables and chairs on the patios. Mostly shorter mesquite trees so getting satellite reception was not a problem even though they have cable. I would have given this park a 9 if not for the noise from the nearby airport. During they day it can be annoying but it is quiet at night for sleeping. There is also a nearby train that really didn't bother us. We would probably stay here again if in the area. We camped at San Angelo KOA in a Motorhome.

Our gravel pull-thru was level and more than long enough for our 40 ft motor home and toad. Campground was clean and well-maintained. Roads are gravel and easy to navigate. Staff were helpful and friendly. We were escorted to our site by the campground manager. Our site was wide with some screening from our neighbors and included a patio with table and chairs. Adequate selection of cable channels, mostly local. No trees blocked our satellite TV. Good Verizon signal. There was on-site trash pick-up and we had a local newspaper delivered to us each day we were there. We would stay here again. We camped at San Angelo KOA in a Motorhome.
