Exceptionally well laid out park. This is the way a park should be built. Streets and pads concrete, level, and hookups well positioned. Somewhat expensive, but done right. We camped at Greenlake RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We generally stay closer in the city, but with the NCAA Final Four going on everything was packed. Good thing, this park is awesome. Large sites. Our kids visited us with their vehicles as well. There was plenty of parking space. Concrete pads large enough for tables, chairs, etc. We sat out two nights, cooked outside, even tried fishing in the small lake. Grass is irrigated and mowed regularly...No Stickers in the bare feet. Wifi was a little slow, but connection was always possible. It's actually close enough to the city that this may now be our "come to" park for San Antonio. Friendly staff, security gates with codes. Over all great experience. We have a 38' motorhome and tow a Jeep. We camped at Greenlake RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed three nights at Greenlake RV Resort to attend the final four. Location to down town is pretty good. We really enjoyed our stay here and would return again if in this area. We had a generous 47' x 24' back in so we had tons of patio room. We also used the pool while we were here and met many nice people. All utilities worked as expected. I really appreciated all of the concrete as Texas has been getting tons of rain. We camped in a 44' motorhome. We camped at Greenlake RV Resort in a Motorhome.

The park has potential. The park facilities are first rate, as advertised. The caveat: Management doesn't enforce the rules. Clutter abounds at many of the campsites, people work on cars, and the dog walk areas are a minefield of dog poop. The site was long enough for our 40 ft motorhome; our car had to park next to it. While there, a visiting pit bull broke free and attacked our sweet lab. Management witnessed the attack and were more worried about their lawn sprinklers than the well-being of our dog, who was severely injured. We will not be going back. We camped at Greenlake RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Our 2nd time staying here, got a deal on the monthly rate of 50% off, was 610.00, my cost was 305.00 plus 61.00 for electric for the month. All concrete roads and pads, hookups well placed, clean, some train and road noise. Cable and wi-fi worked well, clean restrooms and showers.Would stay here again if in the area. Tips for other Campers:

Suggest loop 1604 from I-10 east to avoid traffic and for getting to and from northeast area; about 4 miles longer, but offset by less traffic. Might stay here again when in the area, depending on price and availability of alternatives.

Overall Rating:

This fairly new gated park is geared toward long term/permanent residents, many of whom are young working adults. However lots of sites to accommodate short term visitors like us. Friendly and helpful staff. Many of the sites encircle a large fountain airated pond which is stocked with catch and release fish. The park is attractively landscaped with lots of grass and mostly young trees and shrubs. No playground for children. Dog park is an area outside the park. Clubhouse with a large laundry. Heated pool. Concrete pads, paved roads, full hookups. Wifi is adequate. Very attractive and pleasant environment. Close to the many sights the San Antonio area has to offer. Some sites in this park are very nice if located around the lake (which of course cost more). Very nice pool area. I asked to be placed on a site that did not look at the bathhouse and so was put on a site looking directly at the dumpsters. Not sure how that was an improvement over the bathhouse! We were staying only two nights, so they probably figured it didn't matter if I liked the site; but it was uninspiring to stay any longer, or to come back. There were other empty sites that they could have put us in, and as we are traveling around the county to find a place we like for extended stays, this is not a very good marketing tactic. It's about a 15 minute drive to downtown. We camped at Greenlake RV Resort in a Motorhome.

NOTE: We paid $742.50 for a one-month stay, plus electric (which worked out to be about $60 for a chilly month where we ran the heat more then the A/C.) "Nightly Rate" reflects this monthly rate. Park is very new and thus amenities are in excellent condition. Sites are concrete & level. There's about 10 feet between spaces in the loop we were in. Park is clean with nice wide streets. Managers are knowledgeable about the area. On-site perks include a dog wash, propane station, and 24-hour laundry. This park is big rig friendly. Enforcement of rules is somewhat lax, but we only noted one major infraction. About half the park seemed to be monthly/seasonal stays for work or leisure. We camped at Greenlake RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

There's a new Tacqueria "La Tapatia" just outside the park which serves excellent & inexpensive Mexican food all day. If you have a dog that needs more exercise than just walking around the park, drive 3 miles north on Old Corpus Christie Road to Brooks Park where there are several soccer/football fields that are generally empty during the school day.

This is our second stay here. We have also stayed at another of the Quality RV Resorts properties in Houston. These are well run parks with first class facilities. Super clean, concrete driveways and site pads, good WiFi, super clean restrooms and showers, nice clubhouse with pool table, exercise machines, computer lab and fresh popcorn all day. We paid $45 per night with Good Sam discount. We camped at Greenlake RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

The rate is based off of a monthly rate. This park is the nicest in the SA area. Like all have said, the restrooms, pool, hot tub are all maintained perfectly. The managers are hands-on and awesome. They care about the park like it was their own. BBQ grills and the like are cleaned daily. Weekly rates are way over priced. As previously mentioned, there are many oil field workers and many have nice rigs, but way too much "stuff" around their rig. Lots of working equipment and construction trailers. Parking in the streets. Seems that the manager tolerate it and I believe will get out of control if not curtailed and be like every other trailer parks in the area. WiFi worked OK, nothing special. Again, this is clearly the best RV park in SA. We camped at Greenlake RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

On the corner there is a Mexican Restaurant El Tapitia that has good San Antonio style Tex-Mex. Very reasonable and tasty. Lots of shopping and chain restaurants on Loop 13 (SE Military Hwy) about 5 miles away off I-37 going north.

Overall Rating:

Rate is based on monthly rent including electricity. I've been staying at this park for a couple of months, mainly for its convenient location. Positives for this park IMHO (besides location) include concrete roads and level concrete sites, clean restrooms and a nice pool/hot tub area. However, as some others have pointed out, given the number of full-timers with extra vehicles and "junk" on, or near, their sites, this "resort" is beginning to resemble a trailer park. Additionally, whoever laid this park out gave no consideration to the sun, as the majority of them catch the afternoon heat. Also, as suggested by others, the restrooms and dumpsters are a long way from most sites and there is no on-site trash pick-up. While I consider this park to be acceptable, it seems to fall short of being a "resort" and is therefore somewhat overpriced. We camped at Greenlake RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Over rated and pricey. Even though I was told it was only a year old the park is clearly designed and caters to long term residents. I had a back in which was long enough for my 31 ft fifth wheel but would have been tight on length for a 36 ft unit or longer. Site was wide enough to park truck beside it. However the long term residents take up their side space with their other gear. As a result they are parked in front of their spaces on both sides of the road. Result is a single lane between them. While restrooms are clean there are only 4 stalls for 200 plus sites. They are at the entrance so most sites will have to drive to them if you want to use them. Also only one set of dumpsters which are also up front and can only be easily accessed by driving one certain route. For a new park that bills itself as a "resort" the lack of convenient facilities is a clear miss. Yes the site is level and the park is clean but will see how it evolves as they are already allowing long term residents to build "structures" on their sites. Also don't pay extra for a lake side site as it is really on a large pond. Convenient to freeway without any road noise. Overall I will look for somewhere else the next time as I didn't feel it was worth the high cost. We camped at Greenlake RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed in a pull thru site. Easy in and easy out. Everything is concrete with super wide lanes. The campsite itself had a picnic table and a bit of grass. The trees are still small, so be prepared to bake in this concrete jungle. Our AC ran non stop. The sun beat down on us relentlessly and made us realize we need to invest in additional window sun screens. The lake, grounds and pool are very nicely landscaped. The dog walk area is not fenced, which was disappointing. The only other thing I would complain about is the cost. $47 was the discounted price. Ouch! Overall Rating:

Nice RV park with a man-made lake in the center. We stayed a month here, and were lucky enough to get half-price as they were just completing construction.

Beautiful facilities. 4 covered group BBQ areas, one with a bar adjacent to the pool. Pool is well landscaped. They pipe in loud country music all day in the pool area however, and if that's not your thing it's not exactly relaxing. Asked for them to lower it, we were rudely asked "What, you don't like that kind of music? It bother's you, huh?". They then proceeded to walk away not turn it down. This was 9am on a Sunday morning mind you, not 6pm on a Friday. In general the staff was not rude, but definitely not friendly. That was the only incidence of outright rudeness we encountered. Overall a good value even at full price. We camped at Greenlake RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
