We arrived on Sunday, having made a reservation some weeks before, to find them closed, with no record of our reservation. After some phone calls, we were assigned a site next to the equipment barn, along the entrance drive. As expected, there was some traffic noise. Wifi was unusable at this site. Water and electric worked; no sewer. We walked through the "normal" loops; they looked very attractive and well maintained. Hopefully others will have a better experience than ours. We camped at Wagon Master RV Park in a Motorhome.

Dave,
I apologize that your instructions were not posted on the door, my fault entirely. We are always closed on Sunday's, our one day off, and it slipped my mind on Mother's Day. The site you were in was a water/electric site, and the one you reserved online. We could have helped with the wifi connection had we known you had trouble. We aim to provide a good experience and apologize that you had issues. Best of luck to you in your future travels and we hope you will give us another try in the future.

This was our first stay at Wagon Master. It was lovely. The sites are "Texas Sized" and the facilities are spic and span, and just charming. Wi-Fi worked well in our site. The park is clean, well-maintained, and felt secure. We enjoyed watching the guardian dogs laying with their alpaca herd. You can see them well from site 63. The sunsets over the alpaca fields make for amazing photos. We will definitely return! We camped at Wagon Master RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Eat at Old West Cafe in Sanger! Very good breakfast.

Great park 5 minutes from i35. Numerous perms, but all well manicured. 60s loop might be tough in the Summer sans shade. Alpaca area and two pups who watch them are the big draw. Att and Vz average strength. WiFi excellent strength. Numerous TV stations from DFW market. Smaller pool, small community bldg. Would recommend. We camped at Wagon Master RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We were delighted with this nice little RV park! It was neat as a pin, had great amenities, a nice pool, large laundry room, & a nice community room-all with a western theme. The spaces are decently far apart with nice trees, all very long and level-great for big rigs! The highlight was the small alpaca herd that we got to hand feed during their daily evening feeding. The owners are super nice and even offer some fun homeschool-enrichment classes for any interested kids in the park, (one afternoon each week). There are some long term residents but their rigs and spaces were just as neat and tidy as all the others! It's only a mile off I-35 but in a beautiful, quiet country setting. We would definitely stay here again if looking for something about an hour north of Ft. Worth. Very reasonable rates for full hook-up/50amp. Price reflects a Good Sam discount. We camped at Wagon Master RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Be sure to join the owner for the daily alpaca feeding. They are beautiful, gentle animals and she even sells their beautiful fiber in the small store.

No cable, wi-fi was good. some road noise and lots of train noise. They have Alpacas on the property and u can watch them being fed. We camped at Wagon Master RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

For other campers information: The train tracks are about two miles away. Sometimes they can be heard, but they are not nearby. We are glad you enjoyed yourself here and appreciate the nice words about our park. Happy trails.

We have been on the road for a month full timing as a family. We had to stay close to Dallas to fly back east in early May. When we discovered that there was alpacas at this RV park there was no question this is where we wanted to be. It turned out to be our favorite RV park to date

The park owners live on site and are closely involved with what happens at the park. They were just a text away if we needed anything. We stayed for three weeks and enjoyed the pool and feeding the alpacas. They have a wonderful homeschool program for residents. Our site was very close to bathrooms and I was so impressed with the cleanliness and beauty of the bathrooms. They also have a beautiful clubhouse you can rent for events or cookouts. The laundry facility was spacious and very affordable. Open 24 hours a day.

The Wagon Master runs at full capacity most of the time so if you want a reservation check far in an advance. We absolutely loved our stay in Sanger Texas.  We camped at Wagon Master RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

We just went to Denton if we needed anything. Walmart, SAMs and Starbucks covered it for us.

Fabulous place to stay! Sites are roomy, grounds are extemely clean. Owners went above and beyond to accommodate us. Owner is a wealth of knowledge on her Alpacas, and wonderful to see the love she has for all her animals. Would come back for a much longer visit! A must stay place if you're ever around Dallas /Ft Worth area! Fantastic! We camped at Wagon Master RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice park north of Dallas/Ft Worth. We make it a point to stop here when we travel I-35. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful. In addition to the clean restrooms/showers, they have a laundry and a swimming pool. We camped at Wagon Master RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The park is close to town and shopping. A must-see/do are the alpacas and their protector dogs kept at the park. Guests are invited to meet, pet, and feed the alpacas. It's a very interesting learning experience.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Wagon Master RV Park. We stayed for 3 nights while our daughter was at UNT orientation down in Denton, TX. We met the owners who are delightfully nice people. The RV park is also an alpaca farm, which is very cool. When they feed the alpacas in the evening (about 8 PM) they will let you go with them and you can help feed and pet the animals. Neat experience and very lovable creatures. The sites are all fairly large and not cramped on top of each other. The roads are wide and gravel covered. The entrance area was a little rough but understandable due to all of the rain that has fallen in the last few months in North Texas. We will definitely stay there again as we go up to the Denton area to visit our daughter while she attends UNT. We camped at Wagon Master RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Definitely go feed the alpacas with the owners in the evening. Also go visit Ray Roberts Lake and the state park.

Staff extremely friendly and helpful. We booked last minute and they were still able to accommodate us. The layout of the park is the best we've found. Everything was very clean, quiet, and inviting. The alpacas were an added treat. All of the park was had gravel packed roads as did the sites. Each site was very spacious and had a picnic table provided. There was shade from a large tree in the site where we stayed. The park also had very nice, clean bathroom and shower facilities, a pool, and a laundry available. We had water, sewer and a 50 amp hookup. In between the roads and sites was very well maintained grass providing the landscaping. A very inviting park from all perspectives. We camped at Wagon Master RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Got great tips on local places to eat. Enjoyed the alpacas!

Staff very friendly and helpful. We did not know if we would need to leave in 3 days or 6 days. Staff only charged for our 3 day reservation and said just let us know each day you need to stay longer. Park was 100% filled so that was great service.

Park also has Alpaca's that in the evening they escort you to visit the herd and also gave us some food to hand feed Alpacas.

Grounds where very well maintained and RV's in good condition. We camped at Wagon Master RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Where to eat in Sanger is Babe's Chicken. Serves family style all you can eat veggies to accompany main dish. Fried, broiled and smoked chicken and other dishes.

Busy park. Was nearly full when we arrived. At least it was quiet though. Weather was poor so never bothered with the pool. Pull thru sites are good sized, probably about 70' long. Good water pressure. Antenna pulled in a lot of stations, but no ABC stations that I could find. Wifi is free and worked well for email, iffy for watching shows. Gravel roads and sites. Site was't too out of level, but it did slope front to back. Fenced dog run had a lot of fire ant mounds and the grass was pretty high. Would stay here again given the PA rate. We camped at Wagon Master RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We were here for a nice long stay in November and got to enjoy a LOVELY pot luck Thanksgiving dinner with the other campers. I have to say that these folks know how to "throw a dinner"! Anyway, we loved it so much that we had to stop again for a brief stay this month. They really didn't have a spot available for us, but made us a place to overnight and a price we couldn't pass up. Price shown in this review is the normal Passport price, we got a better one due to special circumstances and fantastic staff. You will love the alpacas and the "country feeling" here even though you're close to the metroplex. Kudos to the owners - great park!! We will be back next time we're passing through again! We camped at Wagon Master RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

I stayed here for three days while signed up for driving lessons. I had just purchased my trailer, and this was my first stay in any park. I needed lots of help, and was overwhelmed by the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. The facilities were very clean and well taken care of. We camped at Wagon Master RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a llama farm on site that was very interesting.

The park was OK and loved the alpacas they had. We could even feed them in the evening. However I did not find him (the owner) very friendly. My coworkers felt the same about him. His wife was a bit more friendly but they made you feel like they were doing you a favor. They did try and maintain the park in a nice condition, and it's location was close to a large town, Denton. We camped at Wagon Master RV Park in a Motorhome.
