Overnight stopover convenient to I20 and US 281. I was escorted to a long, level site was easy to get in and out of with towed car hooked up. Clear sky for satellite dish. WiFi okay, but slow at times. We camped at Coffee Creek RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We have stayed here twice. Great park. Easy on/off I-20. Great atmosphere with Longhorns in nearby pasture. Long level gravel sites with grass in between. Friendly helpful staff. Escort provided to our sit. Pool is very nice also. We camped at Coffee Creek RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice but basic park. Our rate reflects the weekly price. 50% occupied with permanent residents that are well kept with a couple of exceptions. Grounds are well kept and tidy. Water, power, sewer, cable and wifi were all good. I-20 is nearby and I could hear the traffic at times but it wasn't annoying. There's not much in the immediate area but several "larger" towns are nearby. We camped at Coffee Creek RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Visits to Granbury, Weatherford and Mineral Wells are nice where you will see quite a few historical buildings, small tourist shops and some good restaurants. A few wineries can be found in the area.

This park now has cable TV. I didn't see it advertised on their website, however it is indeed in place. 45-50 channels; we were very happy to find this. They have also added some lights throughout the park, and are said to be adding more. The lights are a welcome addition as it was quite dark in the park previously. We found everything to be in fine shape during this visit. We did not use the wifi so I cannot rate that. We enjoy staying at this park, it is quiet and peaceful. We camped at Coffee Creek RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

We ventured the 1-2 miles south during this visit to the Maverick Grill and Convenient Store, which is south of the 281/I-20 interchange. It is a nice store, with a Taca Casa on site as well as the Maverick Grill, which had pretty good burgers, sandwiches, etc.

Other reviews have accurately described the park and sites. Very small concrete patios that don't match up with doors. Sites are close to each other and there are no trees. We stayed here a few years ago and it was clean, pleasant and quiet. The full-time worker residents have totally ruined this park! Pickup trucks are coming through at high speeds day and night. One has to be careful walking in the park. This park is advertised as a "resort". Not sure why. It is definitely not a resort. We won't return here as there is a much nicer park 10 miles away! This is a real nice RV park. Great pool area. Restrooms were very nice and clean, and there are numerous restroom facilites throughout the park. Layout of the park is nice. Sites are gravel, and level. Grass was in good shape and well kept. Water pressure seemed pretty low. Didn't use wifi much, but it did connect fast initially. Park mgmt was friendly. The park has a nice, quiet feel to it, although this was helped by the fact that it wasn't very busy. We look forward to returning. We camped at Coffee Creek RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Park is a mile or so north of I-20/Highway 281 interchange, far enough that the road noise from I-20 is virtually none (this is a very quiet RV park). At the 20/281 interchange are two gas stations, Subway, Dairy Queen, Taco Casa, another taco place, and a restaurant. We arrived to the RV park after hours, and were told to just find any spot and pay in the office in the morning. The pool area here is very nice and clean.

We have stayed at Coffee Creek before and on this visit we had trouble with the 50 Amp service. I had 50Amp service problems before and thought it was the breaker in my 5th wheel. On this visit the breaker in the park box would break when I used my second AC. When I got to the next RV Park in Oklahoma City, I had no issues with running both ACs. Conclusion, Coffee Creek has issues with their 50 Amp service--we were in #12. In Texas in July and August--50 Amp service must work or you will be HOT. We will stay elsewhere in the future. We camped at Coffee Creek RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Over the years we have stayed many times at this park but did notice that the new owners have made some subtle changes. There is not always someone at the office, all the local crafts for sale in the office are gone, and the wifi is not really working out in the park. It just seems less welcoming and homey. The sites still are nice and it is easy in and out but just not welcoming. So dropped to a 7. I would still come back. We camped at Coffee Creek RV Resort in a Motorhome.

A very nice park, gravel sites with nice green grass all around. The guy in the office was very nice. For those Rvers that belong to Passport America it no longer belongs to PA. The park has new owners & they are not honoring the 50% PA disc. but the mgr. was nice enough to give me a 20% disc. so total was $28. Their rate is $35. They also are a G.S. pk. We even have a little patio with a picnic table. 115 sites all long sites, roomy no mater how many slides you have & 14 cabins small & a few lg ones with kitchens, 2 lg buildings with tables for activities, playing cards, potlucks etc., game room, workout room with various equipment. Nice pool & hot tub. A nice place, if an RV group want to have a rally, or if someone wants to have a family reunion. Next time we come through here we're going to need to stay a few days to relax & enjoy the pool & hot tub. The park is well kept, grass neatly cut. Nice clean bathrooms & showers as I peaked in there. We camped at Coffee Creek RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Same quality stay as last time and as described in other reviews. Wifi is also still pretty much worthless and some shade trees would make this a superlative park. But at this price (PPA) who's complaining? We camped at Coffee Creek RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Running west on I-20 and running late I used RVParkReviews to locate this park after hours. The manager still answered the phone and sent a guide to hand lead my rig to a campsite, which I appreciated very much. Even though I was only here for one night I could have stayed more. Hot tub and pool were nice, and roomy, not cramped, sites with long access to drag your towed in and out of is always a good deal. We camped at Coffee Creek RV Resort in a Motorhome.

The $17 night stay is with a Passport America discount. Very clean park all over, well manicured, trash pick up, very friendly and helpful staff. Great pull-throughs. They check the power & water for us to make sure everything worked. Convenient place for exploring. Would stay here again. We camped at Coffee Creek RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This park is very nice for an overnighter or several days. Has hard packed gravel at the sites and would only be better if it had concrete pads. Right off Hwy 281 and 1 mile of I-20 makes it very convenient. Owners are top notch, pool is great, clean showers, (2) rally halls, great cabins. We stay there when in the area. This was our first time staying at this park, recommended to us by friend with the same size rig. The park is located a short distance from I-20, but the traffic noise was barely noticeable. The park has easy access to pull-throughs as sites angled for easy entrance and exit. The sites are level, graveled and long with a good amount of grass between adjacent sites. The staff were very friendly, providing driving instructions for local grocery shopping. The park is very pet friendly with lots of doggie rest stops and a descent sized dog run (but not really big enough for a greyhound to get up to any speed). We stayed here for 2 nights on our way northbound from San Antonio, taking US 281 all the way, bypassing the DFW nightmare. The over-the-air TV reception was lousy to none, however the phone and data signals for both Verizon and AT&T were good. I cannot comment of the park Wi-Fi, as we did not use it. There is a short walking trail to a fishing hole that is suffering from the Texas drought, but it was a nice walk for the dog. On the down side, there are no shade trees. We will definitely be staying here again. The rate reflects the Good Same discount. For tall rigs, make note of a 13' 11" underpass and a 14' 1" bridge 4 miles north on US281. We camped at Coffee Creek RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very nice park and we will return! Very nice and helpful staff. reasonably level sites and full hook ups. The lack of reliable WiFi is why I rated it lower. We camped at Coffee Creek RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
