Very nice park. Sites have concrete, covered patio with picnic table (minor issue - our awning hit the patio roof, so we couldn't fully open it). Hot tub was actually hot (most parks seem to have warm tubs). Huge rec room, although there were no planned activities while we were there (2 weeks). Fairly large pull-through sites. The sites were somewhat slanted to the left, but this was easily overcome with levelers and meant that the tanks drained easily (sewer hole was lower than hookups). Fresh water spigot was 20 ft from sewer, which was nice for cleanliness, but we needed to use a long hose. Only negative - the trains are frequent and noisy (they blow their horns because the local train crossing only have markers, not crossing gates). We camped at Stone Creek RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The Alamo (better than expected). Alamo 4D experience (so-so). The Buckhorn - wow! Zoo - best we've been to. Botanical Gardens - very good. HEB - wow (better than any we've ever seen except maybe City Market in Bothell WA). Naegelin's bakery (a decent bakery, but not a destination worth a special trip). Friesenhaus (great German fried potatoes, strudel was so-so). Tejas rodeo (lots of fun, especially for pre-teens). Other things (e.g. Schlitterbahn, upscale skeet ranges, huge shopping malls).

Stayed here for the month of February. Large park but everyone is super friendly. Spots are a decent size but gravel and not very even. Many activities offered, i.e., Pot lucks, Super Bowl party, painting classes, ice-cream night and bingo. Very dog friendly with two dog runs and agility courses. The hot tub is hot, deep and clean. Pool is not heated and freezing. Wonderful laundry facilities with 10 washers and dryers.

You definitely need a car to get around for shopping and restaurants. We received several deliveries without any issues. My only knock is that while most staff were very friendly, the one woman who manages the front office could learn to smile once in a while. We camped at Stone Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Harmon's bbq in Cibolo is close to as perfect and perfect can get! Simply delicious! Bill Miller's was a very close second! Plaza Pizza and Wings makes a great New York pizza (4 miles away and they don't deliver). Walmart is close by but don't skip HEB across the street, fantastic selection with comparable prices.

Be sure to visit the Natural Bridge Caverns. Beautiful.

We had made reservations, however when we arrived someone was in the site they told us to take. They were quite helpful at the office and told us to take another site, however it was beyond a tight pull through (been full timing for 6 years, so know a tight turn). The turn could not be made because of trees and some type of patio, however they were more than willing to come and trim the trees so we did get into the site. Once we were in we realized all sites on this road tipped a lot on the downhill side so we had to use extra blocking on the tires to be reasonably level. We camped at Stone Creek RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Having stayed at this park many times over the 4 to 5 years we noticed this time there are a lot of "permanent residents" and the property is showing lots of wear and tear. The bathrooms, laundry, and community buildings need painting inside and outside, along with a good deep cleaning. The first 3 rows of sites closest to the office are the most level and maintained. The access to I-35 is easy. We camped at Stone Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

Entry to the park is very nice and so is the area right around the office. Out side of that, the sites are not well kept needing mowing etc. They are not very level. Our neighbor's front wheels were nearly a foot off the ground. There is also a definite slope to the side also. This appears true for most of the park. Roads are pot holed pretty bad in places. Office thought we did not pay and we had to bring in our receipt to show that we did. We stayed here for two days and I would not stay here again. We camped at Stone Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

The first visit was great, which is why we returned. Short-term visits get you nice sites with covered patios. We came back as long term and we were put in a very small unlevel spot. We were put by run down mobile homes. The biggest complaint is the laundry water going into the creek. It smells horrible and has to be contaminating the ground. The dog parks and swimming pools are nice and the staff does do nice social activities. We moved after 1 month. We camped at Stone Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

We did not like this park and will not return. We had to divert from our best route across Texas to stay there, so we started calling at noon to see if they had a space available. We called 4 times between noon and 4:30 and no one answered nor did they return our call. We decided to "risk it" and just drive in. Upon arrival, they indicated that they had spaces available; but when they found out that we were Passport America patrons, they suddenly had no spaces available. We had to argue with the check-in people to get them to honor PA, and they ended up giving us what seasonal neighbors indicated was the "worst space in the park." One that apparently is seldom in use. It was unlevel (big time) both side-to-side and front-to-back. We couldn't get the 5'er near level. The unit next door had an add-on porch that was 6 inches from the side of our RV. No place for an outdoor mat nor room for an awning to go out. Then there was the traffic noise--fellow campers roaring in and out early in the morning (e.g., 5:00 a.m.) and late at night. The next morning, we counted 19 unfilled pull-through sites, all level and much larger than ours. All-in-all, a bad place and a bad stay. We camped at Stone Creek RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed a week. Most sites on side of hill and are not level. People had another step to get to RV step. We are in 43ft motorhome and it took up entire length of site . Most sites are like this. All gravel pads. Roads are paved, but very narrow. Extremely hard to get RV in and out. Diesel pickups start roaring around at 6:00 AM. Website states site 1 thru 12 were for overnight and week stays. They had plenty of space for us there, but sent us to the back with workers. If you plan on staying here I would suggest you get clarification on site they plan to put you on. Office staff just scents you to a site and does not know which are level and which are on side of hill..... We camped at Stone Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

The rest rooms & showers are co-ed and need remodeling badly. WiFi was super weak also limited cable channels. The park has a lot of long term people. The pool and spa were enjoyable, the park overall was very neat looking & very Texas. We stayed a week in our 5th wheel. The people were great. We camped at Stone Creek RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Bargain with Passport America, good deal with Taco. Decent place, quiet except for occasional resident without benefit of truck muffler. Well-located, close to shopping and attractions. We camped at Stone Creek RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Close to the highway, but little highway noise. Great park layout, dog friendly with two dog parks, very clean restroom/showers. Wi-Fi was spotty, fairly level gravel pads with a covered picnic table shelter, cable was average at best. Price paid reflects a Passport America rate. We camped at Stone Creek RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We've stayed here many times before and will try not to stay here again. Very good location, but that's about it. Rates keep going up but no improvements. We were put on the permanent side of the park this time and it's not pleasant. Very tight spaces, gray water from laundry runs into "stone creek", it's stagnant and it stinks. Dog poop everywhere, extremely un-level sites, Wi-Fi is iffy and cable TV is a joke. We camped at Stone Creek RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Originally planned on 3 weeks, but left after 1. Had to have branches removed from trees to even ge on the site. Was told later that I was the longest rig they had put on the site. I was told by a neighboring site if I had a problem, it was not their problem, but mine. True- low water volume, my pressure regulator; low voltage, my EMS. Near the highway, but almost no road noise because of location, Nearby trains are active 24 hours of the day. Stone Creek had only stagnant water from the laundry discharge, gray and stinky. Probably ok for smaller units and short stays. We camped at Stone Creek RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here for a month. We were placed in the permanent area (spaces 200-269). Very cramped and difficult to maneuver our fifth wheel into the space. The site was unlevel. Space was small and no picnic table available. The cable was poor at best. Wifi was virtually non-existent. The park has 4 washers for 269 sites and had to go elsewhere. If you have children, watch the speed of the residents around the sites. Posted speed limit is 10 mph however, it's more like 25-30 and dangerous. Pads were short and had to resort to parking either on grass or 2 rows over. Won't stay here again! We camped at Stone Creek RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed for 4 nights, the nightly rate posted was apparently the escapee discount price. The front office wasn't the most friendly park I have been in. The speed bumps are very large be careful, especially when walking around the park. There are many permanent or long term residents here which makes the park look a little dated. The wifi was great no issues with it, we had a problem with the cable tv, we reported it and they came right away to fix it. Quick access to I 35 and close to many stores. We don't think we would return for the price of 33.75/night, we also did laundry there, machines were clean 1.25 for the washers and same for the dryers. We camped at Stone Creek RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
