We stayed at this park for one night while travelling west on I 10. Very convient stop as it is close to the highway and easy to locate. The staff are extremely friendly. Good restaurants close by. Our site was a gravel pull through that was level and could accommodate our fifth wheel and truck so that we did not have to unhook. The Wifi was good and we did not use he provided cable. The only negative was that our site did not have a picnic table. No be deal for a one night stop over. We camped at Schulenburg RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a wonderful family owned CG. The hosts are all great. The showers/rest rooms clean. The sites are nice and level. The CG is QUIET! We camped at Schulenburg RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Definitely go to Willie Joe's BBQ Meat Processing. Absolutely fantastic brisket and the most wonderfully moist turkey I have ever had!

Have to say that the Mexican restaurant across the street, Lucy's, salsa tasted like spaghetti sauce and the margarita was awful!

The painted church in town was absolutely breathtaking!

This was a delightful campground. Our site was pull through and easily fit out 38' 5W. All hookups worked fine and the Wifi connection was mostly good. Nearby trains were disturbing with their horns but that was offset by the delightful cooing of doves in the campground. The work kampers running the park were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. We camped at Schulenburg RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

The painted churches are very beautiful. Potter Country Store was interesting.

Electric 50/30/20 Amp & Sewer good, Water @ 60psi. Wi-Fi requires a pass code. AT&T Cell Phone signal is good. AT&T Air Card is weak. Verizon 4G LTE Air Card is very good. Cable has few channels and not very good. Over the air is better. Site reasonable. Nothing to far off level to make a difference. My Site Size was small both in length and width. I could not put out my awning but this was the only site that was this small. Site have grass between them and most are long enough for average and some big RV's. Roads and sites are gravel. Restrooms private and are great. Laundry is good. Washer is $2 and drier is $1.25. There are some long term tenants but the sites are reasonable. DirecTV Satellite is good in most sites unless your dish is mounted on your RV then you need to ask for a specific site. Discounts are good for Escapees or Passport America. Payment with credit card has an extra charge unless you pay by cash or check. There is a nice pond for catch and release Perch. Hosts are very nice and friendly. This is a nice laid back park and I will be back here again when in the area. We camped at Schulenburg RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

See the painted churches. It is worth your time. 7 mi west on hwy 90 is some exotic deer on the right side of the highway.

Easy access to I-10, yet not noisy. Gravel site. If you need a clear line of sight for satellite, ask since it is a wooded park. Nice access to local historic and painted churches. Clean. Many full time residents. Volunteer hosts very helpful. Rate reflects GS discount plus cash discount of $3. We camped at Schulenburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay at Schulenburg RV Park. It's a relatively small park with a friendly and helpful staff. They were able to give us help with some sightseeing we wanted to do in the area. The park was clean as were the private bathrooms and showers. All sights were pull through with average spacing and nice trees. We didn't use the wifi so I can't comment on that. We would definitely stay there again if in the area. We camped at Schulenburg RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

The painted churches are really worth a visit.

I stayed here for a month, and the monthly rate was $354, plus your electric bill. It was during the summer, so it was about $80 dollars added to the monthly rate. The "cable" is terrible. I'd say it barely qualified as working. It's only the 4 major networks, PBS, CSPAN, and the weather channel. And the networks only worked about half the time. The wifi worked about half the time as well. When it worked, it was great, but it would work for 5 minutes and then be down for 10 minutes. The inconsistency made it almost useless. The only thing that saved it was the cleanliness, staff, and the location. The park was very clean, and the other residents and staff were extremely nice. If I was staying here longer term, I'd find somewhere else. According to co-workers, there are other parks in the area that cater to long term residents. They aren't as pretty, but have more reliable and better cable/internet. As well as a better deal on electricity. I'd say this is a pretty spot for passing through, but not long term. We camped at Schulenburg RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Easy off and on access to I-10. Many full timers. Pleasant management. Full hook-up site was gravel and level. I was able to secure a site at the edge of the park that was unshaded and attain a satellite signal. Strong Verizon signal. We camped at Schulenburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

We only stopped for one night and the park was well kept. Concrete pad was level and all utilities worked well. We camped at Schulenburg RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

We did not go shopping or out here but the Dairy Queen is right next to the park and we did walk to there.

Just passing through on our way out west. Its a small park with some older trailers in it but well kept and we felt safe, which to us is the most important for the overnight stays. Very nice office to deal with on the phone and in person. We had an extra long pull-through so we didn't have to unhook the car, so worth the money, but did feel $38 a night was high for this park. We camped at Schulenburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Oakridge Barbq Restaurant 5 min by car was fun and delicious. Nearest Walmart, though, is 16 miles away so stock up before pulling in.

Close to I-10, but quiet and very pleasant. The RV Park is very well cared for and has quite easy in/out access. We Had a clean and level pull-thru site that was well shaded with plenty of room for the slide-outs. There's plenty of room to walk pets, and a variety of stores and service businesses are close by. We camped at Schulenburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We rave about "The Garden Co. Marketplace and Café. A fine-dining jewel hiding in town. The "Painted Churches Tour" is another wonderful attraction. You travel to a number of surrounding communities to view and visit 7 historic churches dating to the late 1800s. Schulenberg has an extraordinary number of historic attractions for such a small town. Although we were unable to visit the "model Airplane Museum," it looked like a great place to stop and see the next time we're in the area.

Very accommodating staff. They figured out a way to park us with our 40' RV and 24' trailer even though the longer pull throughs were not available. Good place to hang your hat for a night or two if passing through. We camped at Schulenburg RV Park in a Motorhome.
