Seemed to be many long term/working people staying there. Had a nice pull thru site overlooking a small pond. Lots on flowers on the grounds. Cable TV with limited channels, but one dedicated channel just for the TV park and area attractions. Was escorted to my site and employee checked for clearances before I extended my slides. All employees were extremely courteous and helpful. Everything was well marked. We camped at Schulenburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

Quiet park with easy access to Interstate 10. We stayed here two nights in a travel trailer with advance reservations taken over the phone due to website not capable. Upon arrival, we were given a very nice friendly welcome and were quickly checked-in and then escorted to our pull-thru camp site. Nice level site with adequate space between other campers' sites. Unfortunately, no outside table on site. Upon notifying management that our cable was providing horrible output, maintenance was quick to stop by, troubleshoot and replace the bad splitter. They were very apologetic and had us connected with a perfect cable signal in less than 30 minutes! 12 cable channels. WIFI was very good. All other utility hook-ups were in good condition. Individual toilet/shower rooms so when you close the entrance door, its all yours. It is not a large bath house with shower stalls. Very clean! This is a very nice campground...nothing fancy...very clean and quiet! There is a small catch and release fishing pond, but no pool. We noticed about half the park is occupied with full-timers. We camped at Schulenburg RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Easy to get to from I-10. Inside the park were a few very manageable wiggles with our 40' motorhome with toad on the way to the site. No issues at all on the way out. Let them know about slides when making the reservations. They try to select the best site. We were lucky to get #49, at the end of a row and overlooking a small pond. Plenty of room for slides. Very friendly and helpful staff. Cable very basic. Internet best we've ever had - could even stream some videos. We camped at Schulenburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

The owners are very nice and positive. Sites and roads are packed gravel and fairly level. More than half of the sites are for year round residents in older trailers. Sites are very narrow, we couldn't even put out our awning. Not bad for an overnight. We camped at Schulenburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

Older campground, family owned and operated. Very helpful staff. Easy just off I -10 Huge trees, gravel roads and sites- level. Fish pond. Next door to Dairy Queen. Many full time residents and winter Texans. Strong wifi, cable and Direct TV signal at site 49. Since there are many huge trees ask about sat reception. Park very well maintained. 2 rec halls and historical buildings. Very Quiet. Friendly office owner manager. We camped at Schulenburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is the second time that we have stayed at this park. The office staff is very friendly. We were escorted to our spot. Restrooms are family style and exceptionally clean. We were in walking distance to restaurants and stores. Very shaded and quiet at night. Just a few blocks from the interstate. Would definately stay here again. When I pulled in it looked like a charming place. The owner and staff were some of the friendliest people I have met. They were eager to help and wanted to make sure I had everything I needed. The entry was kinda tight and the trees are close to the pull-through. The spaces were close together and a few of the RVs were dated and looked rough (I think they have lived here awhile). The WiFi worked very well and I could easily stream live TV and Netflix. The kindness of the staff makes me want to visit this place again! We camped at Schulenburg RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

The fishing pond is small but I enjoyed catching catfish and watching all the little turtles. Be careful when entering and exiting with a large rig. There is a Whataburger right across the street plus a Dollar General and different places to eat close by.

A nice park, very quiet. The staff was friendly, they took time to go over what there was to do in the area & where you could eat. We were escorted to our site. Our site was satellite friendly & I saw other sites with roof mounted satellites as well as free standing ones up but they do not guarantee satellite friendly. They do have cable but it is limited to only about 10 channels. They have wi fi. There is plenty of place to walk your dog. There is a pond with fishing for park guests. The sites are level & the hook ups well placed. They do participate in recycling which I was glad to see. You can pay with credit card but since it was a couple of dollars more a night we paid by check. You can also pay with cash, of course, to avoid the extra charge. We camped at Schulenburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a very good bakery right down the street on the left side. Sorry I can't remember the name of it. There are actually two bakeries like right next to each other. The one we went to was the first one you come to from the campground. They have several things to do in the area: Stanzel Model Aircraft Museum down the road a ways. There is also a Painted Church Tour.

This is a great park. The staff was very helpful. The park is in a town that has lots to see and do. We toured the Painted Churches with a local tour guide from the Chamber of Commerce. That's a must to see. There are many close shops to visit (Potter's Pecans is close and full of goodies) and things to see. A great park to visit for an overnight stay or for longer. We have visited this park at least half a dozen time over the years and plan to return in September. We camped at Schulenburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

Camped here in a 42 ft. fifth wheel and Ram 3500 Crew cab long bed. Extremely friendly and informative check in. Parker great also. Very quiet park. Train noise but not frequent. Several full time residents but all friendly. Best WiFi we've experienced in a long time. ATT good. This site good for roof mounted satellite. Would stay here again. Rate reflects Good Sam discount. Very nice park, very clean, good landscaping and trees. Staff is friendly, we felt very welcome on arrival. They are very knowledgeable about the local area. A lot to see and do around here, you could easily spend 3-4 days and not be bored. Park is small and turns could be a little tight for some but we had no problem in our 37' with tow attached. They escort you to your site. Electric steady, wifi worked very well. Laundry room was clean and neat, $2 wash/$1.25 dry. Didn't use restrooms/showers, but looked inside, they appeared very clean. Restaurants and convenience store within walking distance. Neat little perk: show your park receipt and a couple of the restaurants around give you a 10% discount off your meal check. Office will tell you which ones do this. The park would have gotten a 10 from us if spaces were not so close together. To sit on our patio, we would have been less than 2 feet off the sewer hose of our neighbor. If we had put our awning out, it would have reached neighboring RV. There are some long term guests here, but everything is kept neat and tidy, no dirty or derelict units. We only stayed one night this time, but would definitely stay here again and recommend the park. We camped at Schulenburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

Franks Restaurant was a nice experience. We enjoyed the Brisket and Enchilada Plate. They cheerfully gave a 10% discount with your RV Park receipt. It was about 1 block away from park. There is a DQ directly next door.

This is an older, smaller park with mature shade trees. The facilities are old but clean and in good condition. The best part of the stay was the staff. It is a family-owned park and the staff treat you like you are a guest in their home. They know the area and interesting things to do in this small E. Texas town. We had a good time touring the painted churches in the area. We camped at Schulenburg RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Schulenburg is a small E. Texas town but it has a supermarket and several good places to eat. If you visit, don't miss the painted church tour. The churches are incredible and you'll get to see some of the Texas countryside while you do the tour. Ask your host at the RV park for details, they'll be happy to help.
