Personally I thought $50.82/night (Labor Day holiday with Ray Club discount) w/ a 3 night minimum was a little steep without offering cable or wifi. The park was nice. Sites were large. Staff was extremely friendly/helpful. I booked late so no shaded spots were available. Also, it costs $25.19 per person (with Ray Club discount) each day you want to use the water park. So basically It cost the 3 of us $90/day for the water park that closes at 6 PM. Again, family had a great time...I just keep comparing it to LoneStar Yogi in Walker, TX where you pay $7/$8 per day for water park...only thing Yogi doesn't have is wave pool. Unlike Yogi, we were able to bring our golf cart to Splashway so that was nice! We camped at Splashway Water Park and RV in a Travel Trailer.
Tips for other Campers:
Bring food! Nearest decent grocery store is 15-20 miles away and nearest gas station is 2.5 miles away!
Park exceeded my expectations. The campsites were spacious enough and very shaded. Nice family atmosphere, and easy walk to the waterpark. The reason it exceeded our expectations was in the evening there was a small field where they have a stage and a really excellent performance by a musician out of San Marcos (Haley Cole was her name). Lots of kids running around playing volleyball at a court by the field. Great place to bring kids. My only complaint was that the waterpark was crowded, but no to the point that there were lines to get in. We camped at Splashway Water Park and RV in a Fifth Wheel.

It had been several years since we camped here and my how it has grown. There are now three different sections of the park all within walking distance to the waterpark itself. They have also added a catch and release fishing pond, hiking trails, playground area and a volleyball court. My kids were thrilled when they caught several different fish from the pond including bass, tilapia, and, of course, my four-year-old caught several perch. Also, this year they added campground activities so that there is more to do once the waterpark closes. They had s'more night, movie night, and we had gone on a Christmas in July themed weekend and "Santa" brought them goodies in their stockings that the kid were able to make themselves. All the staff were so friendly and genuinely concerned about our stay. We were even able to purchase pizza on Friday evening and they delivered to our RV. Our site was clean, and there was an info packet already at our spot upon arrival with information about all the activities that takes place around the park. We did have a tree branch in the way of opening he awning, and we told a young gentleman who came by to greet us. Within 10 minutes he came back with a tree branch saw and cut it down and out of the way for us. Very impressed with the staff and the activities director was just wonderful! She called us two weeks in advance telling us about all the activities and the need-to-knows around the campgrounds before arrival. Wonderful place to go and take the kids during the summer and I highly recommend it, especially for anyone who has younger kids. Also, I hear that they are putting in ziplines this upcoming summer! We camped at Splashway Water Park and RV in a Fifth Wheel.
Nice to be close to Splash way. The grounds need to be kept up as well as the water park is though. We had 3 broken beer bottles in our camp site, which have had to been there at least a few days because 1 of the bottles were partially buried in the ground. And they needed to mow, started mowing on Saturday, while we were trying to make our lunch. We camped at Splashway Water Park and RV in a Travel Trailer.
Fun, fun, fun place for a family vacation. The web site has a map of the RV Park. When I made the reservation, I was able to request the site I preferred. The waterpark is the destination and the RV park is to make it easy for campers to visit the waterpark. Sites have lots of shade trees and are within an easy walk to the waterpark. Admission to the park is in addition to the site rental. The park was kind of dark at night, and the analog television was iffy. But we enjoyed the waterpark and will stay here again when we visit next time. We camped at Splashway Water Park and RV in a Travel Trailer.
