This medium-sized RV park is laid out well and had nice gravel throughout. We were there just one night, but were given a pull-through next to the laundry/showers. Hookups were good, they had cable but we didn't hook that up, and the laundry room and bathrooms were nice and quite clean. Park WiFi was actually decent and we also got 3-4 bars of Verizon. We were impressed with the great management and their efforts to make it a top-flight park. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. We camped at Twin Pines RV Park in a Motorhome.

Internet is essentially not usable. Even at 4 a.m. It's so slow that even this page wouldn't load, so I used my IPhone as a personal hotspot. I have four bars on my phone but I suspect something is wrong with the Internet and this area because I still had strange issues. The water pressure in the showers is the lowest I've ever seen ....it's lower than our motorhome! There are two showers in the two toilets are located inside the shower so when someone is taking our showers (which take much longer than usual because of low water pressure!).no one in the park will be able to use the toilet? At $31.50 at night I'm paying over 900 a month equivalent for electricity and water (we didn't hook up to water), and for that price I would appreciate a little better water pressure and a little better Internet. I would definitely try a different park in this region. That said the people at the front are very nice. The young man will wash a 36-foot motor home for about $80 or $100 if he includes the roof, but only if he's not working the front office. In their defense it could be that this region has just terrible Internet service, however I don't know what to say about the low-water pressure, except... it's annoying - we're experienced travelers and this place is terrible with water pressure and internet. Park is all gravel, not too dusty today. We camped at Twin Pines RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Fine for overnight...not good for checking the weather on internet. Not good showers - only slightly better than taking a sponge bath.

My favorite RV Park to stay at every year when we are traveling to/from Corpus Christi to Rapid City South Dakota. Nice, Clean, and Friendly. Don't have to unhook from our 40ft fifth wheel, very level spaces. We camped at Twin Pines RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

A quick stop over on our way from Austin, TX to Colorado. The staff was very friendly and the park is easy to access with wide pull throughs for an quick in and out. The sites are long enough that I don't have to unhook my truck from my 40 foot 5er. Definitely not a destination but a great stop over if passing through. We camped at Twin Pines RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

PARK was clean, easy to navigate with level sites. Staff was professional and helpful. After hours check in was easy and intuitive. Good access to highway (ir, some noise). Also there was a train nearby. We camped at Twin Pines RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Customer service is excellent. Came in late but staff stayed to take me to our site and made sure everything worked. Staff was very friendly. Sites are gravel, but are level. Easy access from highway. You do have train and highway noise. Park is well maintained. We had a pull through site with round spool used for table. Sunny spot. This RV park has worked well for us as an overnight stop during several trips across Texas. Both times we were able to get a long pull-thru space with plenty of room to keep our tow vehicle attached. Staff is friendly, and an escort was provided to our site. WiFi and cable TV worked fine, although the park Internet experienced a typical afternoon/evening slowdown. Twin Pines no longer accepts Passport America. Some sites were provided with a large wooden wire spool in lieu of a table. We camped at Twin Pines RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed for one night while passing through the area. An excellent spot for an overnight stay. All staff that we came in contact with were friendly and helpful. We were in a pull-through that was gravel. Clean, long enough for 40' TH and truck. Water, sewer, cable, and electric worked well. Didn't try the wifi. There is a small dog run. No highway noise (surprising). There was some noise from trains, but we were enjoying sleeping with the windows open so no complaints. Recommend if you're passing through the area and need an overnight. We camped at Twin Pines RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

There are some all-asphalt sites that are occupied by long-term folks. The regular sites in toward the rear are gravel and have grass.

This was our first stay at this park on our way home from Colorado. I cannot say enough kind things about all aspects of the park. It is all gravel with nice, green manicured grass at each site. The perimeter sites appear to be occupied with longer-term campers, but they don't look like the sometimes junky full-timers. They all just looked like regular rvers. The rest of the park consists of pull throughs--plenty long for a 40-foot plus motorhome and toad--and super level. I didn't even have to use my levelers. No trees to speak of in the pull through sites which makes satellite reception a snap. Cable tv is provided. The restrooms consist of two individual rooms, each with its own huge shower, toilet and sink. There is also a second bath house near the office. The young lady who checked us in was super nice and helpful as was the gentleman who guided us to our site. Overall, this is an A+ park for a night or two on a longer trip. I highly recommend it. We camped at Twin Pines RV Park in a Motorhome.

We spent 1 night at Twin Pine when passing through Slaton. Easy to find location, with easy in/out pull-through. Definitely not a "destination" but is good stop over point if you are traveling through this part of Texas. Customer service was great and the we had no issues. We will stay again the next time we pass through. We camped at Twin Pines RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
