Stayed for 5 nights while in Houston visiting our son and daughter in law. I don't give many 10's, but this place definitely deserves it. Very easy check-in and the staff was very helpful and courteous. Enjoyed playing shuffleboard and ping-pong with our kids. Long list of amenities, many of which we did not have time to use. Bathrooms were always spotless. Laundry room was very nice and reasonably priced. Did have to pay to rent a fire pit, but it did come with decent sized bundle of wood, which was enough for the evening. We camped at Rayford Crossing RV Resort in a Motorhome.

One week after leaving over an issue concerning cats running loose and park management saying it was ok. The park issued an email that all pets must be on a leash. Nice park, poor ownership and upper management. We camped at Rayford Crossing RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

we have stayed here many times. this was a Tiffin Rally booked 8 months ago as the park stays full. Very friendly staff, escorted to site, spotless RESORT, concrete drive and sites ours was a end # 62 so we had extra space. Many winter Texans and worker trailers & 5th wheels. Pull thru sites on west and south side sloop badly - so bring blocks. We camped at Rayford Crossing RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The Woodlands Development has a lot of commercial buildings and companies- Exxon, etc..plus a great downtown,restaurants- large Mall is all just 15++ minutes depends traffic. Numerous groceries, strip centers , vets, speciality stores are very near the rv park. the park is located down a nice drive on a hard surface road thru a residential area. Adjacent is a stables. Many very friendly folks residing in park. Curb trash pickup. Sites very well maintained - some are closer than others.

Premium Site included a Weber Grill, fire pit and patio table and chairs. Separate dog walk and dog park areas. Wide paved access roads. They escort you to your site and sanitize water spigot. Grills are cleaned between occupants. Excellent Wifi ( I was able to watch Netflix). Pool closed in Feb. Super clean laundry facilities. Washer and dryer cost $1.25 a load. Daily trash pick up at site. Amenities worth the extra price. I would stay here again! We camped at Rayford Crossing RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Close to 45 and 99. Super bike trail nearby ( Dennis Johnston Park), where you can bike a 10 mile paved trail. Close to The Woodlands. Traffic during work days and rush hour around 45, so plan accordingly. Food stores, etc nearby.

One of the nicest parks we've ever stayed in. The higher fee is worth it given the landscaping, amenities and neatness of the entire property. Paved roads w/ level concrete pads. Friendly reception. We camped at Rayford Crossing RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Rayford Crossing certainly exceeded our expectations. We loved our stay in the cabin. The grounds were beautiful and clean, and the location is perfect for exploring the Woodlands area. A huge thank you to the management team at Rayford for their generosity. The customer service at this resort is top notch, and they definitely made us feel welcome. We cannot wait for our next stay at Rayford. We camped at Rayford Crossing RV Resort in a Cabin.

Overall Rating:

This is truly a top notch RV resort! Convenient to stores, but off the busy byways. Close enough to Houston, and easy access to highways. Entrance to park is lovely. Registration office is big clean and bright. Right outside the office is a breezeway that has a beautiful patio with very comfortable chairs, ceiling fans and a nice view of a fountain and horse farm next door. As a bonus, in that breezeway are an assortment of beautiful live birds- a parrots, cockatiels, and lovebirds.Very nice touch!

Pool area is beautiful - bright, clean, tiki hut type tables, palm trees and beautiful flowers. Sites are all paved with mature trees, that do not interfere with satellite. Roads are in perfect shape and easy to maneuver. Guide escorted us to our site and even cleaned our picnic table. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming! The ONLY negative is all that pavement lends to increased heat in an already very hot area, but you can't have everything! Everything about this beautiful park more than makes up for that! One of the nicest parks we have stayed in: and this was our 40th state!

We highly recommend this park if you are in the Houston area. We camped at Rayford Crossing RV Resort in a Motorhome.

I had my 49' motorhome in for service and was getting ready to set out on a 2 month trip. I made reservations at Rayford Crossing RV Resort as it was close to home and I could get things in/out of the motorhome with the slides out (something I could not do in my storage unit). The park is nicely laid out and easy to maneuver my coach.

Making the reservations was easy and I received an email confirmation after my phone call.

Upon check in, we were guided to our site. The site was level and spacious. The 2 night stay was uneventful and quiet. I had hoped to enjoy some time in the wonderful looking pool, but getting things ready for the trip took priority. We camped at Rayford Crossing RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Old Town Spring is a nice "old-time" shopping district. If you go, check out Corkscrew BBQ, they have won several awards for their excellent BBQ.

The Water Way at the Woodlands is modern shopping district with lots of great restaurants including Cyclone Anaya's (a Houston favorite for Tex-Mex).

Stayed here over the 4th of July weekend. Beautiful resort, certainly qualifies as luxury. Wide roads, wide concrete sites, plenty of space and privacy. Patio included actual patio furniture, round table with umbrella and gas grille. Staff is first rate and cheerful. The guide to our site even dusted off the patio table when we arrived. Just first rate. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Rayford Crossing RV Resort in a Motorhome.

I chose this campground because it is very close to my house and I was making a shakedown trip in my new Little Guy T@G XL. I told the lady who took my reservation that I was a first time RV'er and was very concerned about getting parked, etc. She was super nice and very helpful. I set out from my house at 4:00 pm on Saturday and the resort called me on my way to check on me! Awesome! When I got there, I was shown to my site, helped with the electricity hook up, etc. Terrific service. The facility is medium in size, quiet and uber clean. The bathrooms were clean and well lit. Everything worked. I would highly recommend this resort and I'll definitely go again. We camped at Rayford Crossing RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

This location is very close to Old Town Spring for great shopping. The Woodlands is just up the road and offers everything you could ever need. This is also a good location if you need to visit the medical center.

We were camped here for a month. It was first long stay as full timers. Unfortunately Houston area was hit with massive rains and flooded the road going into the camp on two separate occasions. On top of that there was no power for 2 days on 2 separate occasions. I would put no blame on the camp/staff. They did their best to ensure everyone had the opportunity to evacuate if they choose. The camp other wise was great. The long/full timers were very friendly. The camp has very clean/updated facilities. Good Wifi too. We camped at Rayford Crossing RV Resort in a Motorhome.

The park may seem a little tight to get too once you turn off Rayford road but its pretty spacious once you reach the entrance to the park. Also be warned that traffic on Rayford in the mornings and evenings weekdays can back up a lot for rush hour.
