Office staff seemed not like us as I complained about a noisy large motorhome in the wee hours of the morning. Just stayed over night but I felt intrusive as there are a lot of long time regulators there. A lot of rules & regulations. We camped at Peach Country RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

LBJ memorial park, great place to visit.

Stayed for a week in a 43' motorhome. Very long sites. Easily parked my pickup in front of the motorhome with room to spare. Site width tight. In fact my front driver slide actually came close to the neighbor's picnic table. Entire park was clean and neat. Very friendly and helpful staff. All sites looked level. Somewhat off the highway so road noise not too bad. Very close to LBJ Ranch which is worth seeing. About 20 minutes to Fredericksburg. Restaurant within walking distance. Did not eat there. Wifi ok. Will stay here again. We camped at Peach Country RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Good BBQ at Cranky Franks in Fredericksburg.

Very friendly group. Well managed, clean no frills park. Management is very fair and accommodating. This is a rare find where people really care about and look out for each other. Easy drive to Fredericksberg, 2 nice restaurants within walking distance. A few semi permanent residents in nice clean well kept rigs but mostly Winter Texans. Paved streets, gravel sites, concrete patios, some shade. very nice rec building. No complaints here. We camped at Peach Country RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Price was based on monthly rate.

I'd read some pretty glowing reviews of this park, with virtually everyone commenting on the cordial staff.

We approached from nearby Fredericksburg on the rain-slicked highway; even though the GPS was counting down the tenths as we neared the entrance and I'd slowed to 40 mph, the driveway appeared too quickly for me to get the rig slowed in time, and we missed the turn. The friendly lady tending the office said that is common: a good tactic is to immediately turn into the large restaurant parking lot just beyond the park, and carefully backtrack (it is a busy 5-lane highway).

She has asked the state to place a warning sign so drivers can better find the entrance.

There is no pavement, and the fine gravel will find its way into your rigs during wet weather. All sites are straight pull-throughs, ideal for big rigs. We camped at Peach Country RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed here in 2014 (see Nov. 2014 review) and one thing that has changed is the previous managers who were very good have retired and the new management team is also a very good, courteous, pleasant, team that is on top of things and easy to get along with. One other change is they keep 8 to 10 sites open for over-niters and weeklys instead of filling most sites with long term or winter folks. Friendly park and good value. $385.00 monthly including electricity. Will return next year. Extremely big rig friendly with 80 foot pull-thrus. We camped at Peach Country RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Lindigs cafe right next door with good food and reasonable prices. Fredericksburg west 12 miles and LBJ ranch and park about five miles east. Ranch house now open for tours given by park rangers. Trade Days every 3rd weekend. Grounds about 6 miles west of park. 30 winerys in the area so there is plenty to do and see.

This is a small park and a lot of spots were occupied by full-timers and "Winter Texans". Everyone was friendly and helpful. The clubhouse has an ice cream social on Sundays, this is a friendly bunch! Park is easy to get to and navigate, and very conveniently located about halfway between Fredericksburg and Johnson City. There are two popular Mom & Pop restaurants within walking distance and lots of winery tours nearby. We had a nice long pull thru. Lot was level, electric and water pressure were fine. There was no television cable and we were able to pull in only a few channels with over the air antenna and those could be hit or miss. Laundry was 2 washers and 2 dryers located in a small room outside the office. Cost was only $1.00 each and was on the honor system... leave your money in the envelope or at the office, no quarters required. Very handy! Lot was level, electric and water pressure were fine. We stayed for 10 days during which time the Wifi worked great until the day before we left. A big rig pulled in next to us and that seemed to affect the wifi signal. Our fulltimer neighbors at the park told us they experienced this all the time. It seems like it would be an easy thing for mgmt to fix. Other than that, great park, would definitely return! The daily rate shown is based on a weekly discount. We camped at Peach Country RV Park in a Motorhome.

Decent park to visit the Fredericksburg/Johnson City area. Park was designed correctly with good very wide interior roads so moving into and out of sites is very smooth and easy. Hookups are placed and work correctly and pull thrus are about 80 feet. Some permanents but no junky sites. Residents and staff are friendly and there is a good cafe within walking distance. Overall would stay again when visiting the area. We camped at Peach Country RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Good value as electricity is included even for long term. No amenities such as pool or kids area. Winter folks made up the majority of rv'ers when we were there. Laundry consists of two stackables in office area, so unless you have w/d in your rig you'll be going to town to do laundry. Several laundries to choose from in Fredericksburg.

Great place to stay. Managers on site. Very helpful and friendly. Clean and level spaces. You are out in the country, about 15 miles to Fredericksburg. We stayed a week. When I come back, I will stay here. We camped at Peach Country RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Great location and wonderful/helpful folks running the place. Sites were gravel, large, with some shade. We had a picnic table. You can catch a really good "all you can eat" catfish dinner across the highway on Friday nights. It is next to the highway but amazingly it wasn't too noisy, but would recommend getting back from the front if possible. Overall would certainly recommend. We camped at Peach Country RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice clean park with very wide roads and the longest pull throughs we have seen anywhere. Nice, helpful managers. Centrally located for enjoying the Hill Country of Texas. Would stay here again. We camped here in a fifth wheel. We camped at Peach Country RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Office personal were very friendly and helpful. Drive up was nice, clean, and appealing. Campsite was well maintained. We stayed 3 nights and found they also have a nice club house to use. Nice pull thru. If you are going to LBJ Ranch and home it the best place to stay as it is between town and the ranch. Right on Hwy but no noticeable noise. We camped at Peach Country RV Park in a Motorhome.

Office personal were very friendly and helpful. Drive up was nice, clean, and appealing. Campsite was well maintained. The only negative I found was that it sits on Hwy 290, a very busy road. So if quiet is what you want, I would ask for as far off the highway as possible. Would definitely recommend and stay at again. We camped at Peach Country RV Park in a Motorhome.

This will be my go-to CG when I am back in this area. Check-in was friendly and efficient. The managers live on site. The winter Texans, who make up the majority of the residences at this time of year, are outgoing and friendly. They invited us to a birthday party celebration five minutes after we pulled in. The CG is ideally located half way between Johnson City and Fredericksburg, which are two tourist towns worth a visit. There are also several wineries scattered about the area. It's a five minute drive to the LBJ Ranch NP. There is a minor bit of road noise from the highway, but it's only noticeable if you are sensitive to that sort of thing. The paved access road is wide. The long, level, pull through sites are pea gravel. The site has a concrete pad and picnic table with a strip of grass between sites. That space between sites allows room for slides and awnings. Utilities were very good. My Wi-Fi use was minimal, but the signal was 5 bars strong. Verizon 3G was 5 bars. Satellite signals would be easy to access from most all the sites. They do not have cable, but about 7-8 OTA TV channels can be received. The rec hall is a large, full facility building that has a nice, large porch where there are several rocking chairs that serve the purpose of just chilling out. The handicap accessible bath/shower and restroom, also a part of that building, was very clean. Rate is Good Sam's. We camped at Peach Country RV Park in a Motorhome.

The roads and sites are wide and easy to navigate. The nightly rate listed on their website is wrong. The price has increased. My rate reflects the Good Sam discount. The Wi-fi worked ok most of the time, but slowed to a crawl a couple of times. There is a nice clubhouse with a small book exchange. The laundry "room" is a single washer and dryer, stacked, in a room barely big enough to stand in, with no where to fold your clothes. We camped at Peach Country RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The park appears to have new management and prices were mixed up and we nearly got charged an extra night. The sites were simple and decent. The brochure states 100 foot pull through sites, however they are closer to 70 feet with a few at the 100 feet mark. The power stations are in need of some work as the breaker would blow when more than the single A/C unit was running. The restrooms were clean but the showers (one for men and one for women) were filthy. The park is full of winter Texans and made the stay enjoyable and friendly. There is a large community room that is open during the day. Simple park that is decent. We will look at some other parks in the future when in the Fredericksburg area. We camped at Peach Country RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
