Not much to add to previous reviews except that this campground is the same as Big Bend Resort and Adventures RV Park and Campground. There is no cell phone coverage and no cable. Store next to campground for breakfast. We camped at Big Bend Resort & Adventures RV Park & Campground (Big Bend Motor Inn) in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Store next to campground has a restaurant for breakfast. There aare cable hookups at site but they are enclosed so not available for campsite. Those who book the motel rooms have cable. Wi-Fi is available and adequate. No password required. Electrical boxes have exterior lighting. We would stay here again.

Gravel parking lot with pull through's. Has new electrical and good power. There are cable hookups but the box is sealed and not for use for RV's/ Fair Wi-Fi at site but the Wi-Fi was off line for most of day three. Several of us went to the office to ask about reception but they said they could do nothing and refused to reset router. Motel rooms also available. Site was fairly level. Had an issue with billing as they charged my card for one night upon booking which is normal. When I checked my card site for pending transactions they charged me for one night too many. When I questioned that they said they would credit me upon checking out. Never had that happen before.

Good location for visiting the west side of Big Bend and we stayed at their sister campground on the east side.

This campground is the same place as Big Bend Motor Inn is actually in Study Butte not Terlingua. Park is nearly empty. Although this is a large park site are tight but pull through's allow easy entry. Entry into the motel registration from the East is very bumping because of ruts created by rainfall run off.

We camped here in a fifth wheel and would stay again. We camped at Big Bend Resort & Adventures RV Park & Campground (Big Bend Motor Inn) in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Cafe next to motel for breakfast buffet.

Great proximity to Big Bend, restaurants, and the town. CG is more like a big dirt parking lot, but it is dry and hot so didn't expect to much greenery. Sites were level and amenities worked well. We camped at Big Bend Resort & Adventures RV Park & Campground (Big Bend Motor Inn) in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

So much to do in the State and National Park, but make time to go into down on a Friday or Saturday night.

RV park operated by the motel out in front. Small souvenir store as part of lobby, as well as TV room; cafe in adjacent building; laundry in another building. Nothing special, but fit for purpose of visiting the west side of Big Bend. Spacious FHU pull-thru spots were fine. Pay showers so we didn't use. We would stay here again. We camped at Big Bend Resort & Adventures RV Park & Campground (Big Bend Motor Inn) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

This is the desert, so not much around.

The park is a typical desert park with dirt and gravel. The services all worked fine. It was dry when we were there but in the rain it could be muddy. The sites are long and wide with room to get around. We were there to visit Big Bend National Park and this area is a remote. There is a new small grocery store less than a mile form the park that has a great variety of food items. There is fuel and a restaurant at the park. We found this a good park top visit the National Park. The staff is very helpful. We will return if in the area. We camped at Big Bend Resort & Adventures RV Park & Campground (Big Bend Motor Inn) in a Fifth Wheel.

Very large park conveniently located to go into Big Bend National Park. Many trees, although small but cast an adequate amount of shade. Quiet park with enough amenities around it so you don't feel lost in the desert! They have a decent restaurant and store, also gas station and laundromat. The sites are wide enough so you don't feel cramped. We camped here in February so it wasn't crowded at all. There are motorbikes available to rent, a horse stable for riding, and private tours available also. We camped at Big Bend Resort & Adventures RV Park & Campground (Big Bend Motor Inn) in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a decent grocery store in town.

This park is in a fabulous location, and that's mainly what it has going for it. The sites are kind of short, making parking a little bit of an issue. You had to park in the middle of the site to be closest to the utilities, and then you had half a parking space in front of your trailer and half in back. Services are minimal. Wifi is difficult to get except in the lobby, and even then is very slow. The employees were all really really friendly and completely incompetent. It was almost funny. Almost. The entire park is overrun with gophers, making it treacherous to walk about at night without a light. One day a gopher buried about 2 feet of my water hose. The water is very highly laced with chlorine and undrinkable. We camped at Big Bend Resort & Adventures RV Park & Campground (Big Bend Motor Inn) in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The location is great for visiting the park and the nearby town of Terlingua. The store located near the campground doesn't have much, but the Cottonwood general store, two miles down the road towards the park entrance, is fantastic. The restaurant at the gas station next to the campground is not very good, but there is a nice little Mexican restaurant across the street, over by the Post Office. There is a great hike/bike ride right out of the park to a nice hiking area in the national park.

Basically a dirt parking lot with a few trees. But this is serious desert country. Sites are all pull thru with a lot of room. Run from the gift shop in the building out front. Very handy for the Big Ben NP entrance a few miles down the highway. We camped at Big Bend Resort & Adventures RV Park & Campground (Big Bend Motor Inn) in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Small super market a few miles down the road towards the park. Terlingua itself is a complete tourist trap so expect the usual. Stock up on everything before leaving Alpine. Fuel is available here and inside the park.

It's just a dusty gravel parking lot with hookups. But, if you want hookups, and can't get one of the few in Big Bend, it is certainly an adequate place to stay while visiting the area. Utilities worked fine. Location is good. Close to the west entrance to the national park, to Terlingua/Study Butte stores, restaurants(few), and most importantly the only gas station. No Verizon data service but voice was good. Park WiFi worked most of the time, better than most CG WiFi service. Sites are big enough and easy in/out. We camped at Big Bend Resort & Adventures RV Park & Campground (Big Bend Motor Inn) in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice RV park, level, clean, well maintained and very close to (in our opinion) the best entrance to Big Bend NP. Yes, the campground is mostly dirt but this is the desert so don't expect palm trees and waterfalls! Campsites are very roomy - no problems with being too close to your neighbors. The office manager was very nice to us, but seemed a little grumpy with the lady who was in line in front of us. Not sure what that was about. We look forward to staying here again. We camped at Big Bend Resort & Adventures RV Park & Campground (Big Bend Motor Inn) in a Fifth Wheel.

Can't say enough good things about this campground. Location is best we saw while we spent five days traveling the area. We saw other camp grounds, but no other professionally run camping sites were in the area. Would definitely stay here again. Clean, quiet, grass, trees, management and workers very helpful, restaurant, store, and gas on property--don't miss the great breakfast at restaurant. We camped at Big Bend Resort & Adventures RV Park & Campground (Big Bend Motor Inn) in a Fifth Wheel.

To be clear, there is no resort here. Just a run down looking motel and a parking lot in back with some grass (not much) between gravel strips. But the place was fine for the amount of time we spent here. We came for the national park, not the campground. Very convenient to the NP, but I did stow my chairs & grill when we left for the day because we were the front site to the highway and the park has no security or even a choke point for incoming traffic. This place did what we needed it to do. Restrooms were run down and old looking, but clean enough to use. No Verizon 4G out here, but the campground WiFi worked well enough. We camped at Big Bend Resort & Adventures RV Park & Campground (Big Bend Motor Inn) in a Motorhome.

First the good stuff. The sites are wide with lots of room around them. WIFI works great. Staff is friendly and helpful. Gravel roads are in good shape. Now the not so good. Price is high, but they have the location, close to Big Bend NP. Cable TV is very poor, ours didn't work and our neighbor's barely did. Water hookup is a poorly constructed setup, and I'll bet they get broke a lot. Garbage dumpsters are a long way from most places in the park. Dirt in the sites is loose and easy to track inside; could use gravel in sites. Some sites are long some short with not enough room for the toad. We camped at Big Bend Resort & Adventures RV Park & Campground (Big Bend Motor Inn) in a Motorhome.

This Park was the worse that we have ever stayed at during any of our stays in Big Bend. The workers were friendly but the park was unkept, the restrooms were beyond filthy (stunk to high heaven and looked like they haven't been cleaned for two weeks) and the pads were unlevel. It rained when we were there and the caliche turned to mud and those that know caliche, it sticks and stays with you. Never again. We stayed here in a travel trailer. Rate reflects stay of at least 7 days. Pretty much a gravel lot, but great location in the center of Big Bend activities. Employees were both friendly and helpful. It is what it is, and what it is is about as good as it gets in this area. We camped at Big Bend Resort & Adventures RV Park & Campground (Big Bend Motor Inn) in a Motorhome.
