Gravel and dirt campground, typical for the area, can be dusty at times. Wifi good in gameroom but usually cannot use in the CG. Water pressure very low. Very convienent to the National Park, great views and sunsets from the CG. Second time I have stayed here. I found the staff to be helpful and accomodating. There was no picnic table at our site and the staff got one to me within a short time. I did not use restrooms. We camped at Big Bend Resort & Adventures RV Park & Campground (Big Bend Motor Inn) in a Fifth Wheel.

The staff in the office were very friendly during the reservation and check in process. They did not have a site that would accommodate our length with our enclosed trailer attached but allowed us to park it in a nearby site that was out of order. Sites are dirt and there is little grass but they are level Very good place to stay for visiting the park. Nothing fancy but we would return. We camped at Big Bend Resort & Adventures RV Park & Campground (Big Bend Motor Inn) in a Motorhome.

Great location for visiting Big Bend National Park. We spent two days in the park and it is beautiful. Don't miss Santa Elena Canyon trail. There are river rafting tours and overland tours offered.

We stayed two nights here. The bathrooms are dank and unappealing. The showers are $2.00 for 6 minutes. I refused to use the facilities.

The water faucet to a neighboring site had been broken off by another RVer a week earlier; he took the site we were assigned and reported it to the office, but they put just a shut-off valve on it, not another faucet. Because he was in our site, we had to futz about for another site. They assigned that site again to another RVer, who also complained to the office and had to move to another site.

Although some sites had a picnic table, ours did not.

Wi-Fi is available -- at the cafe, but not at the sites. Cell service is spotty.

The cafe food was mediocre. We camped at Big Bend Resort & Adventures RV Park & Campground (Big Bend Motor Inn) in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed here to visit Big Bend National Park.

As per previous reviews, the sites are dirt and gravel pull-thrus for the most part. We had some minor issues with the 30-amp service, but maintenance was at our site within minutes to correct the problem. Unfortunately, the 30-amp service was a bit weak and we had to use our auto-former to maintain voltage / amperage in our camper. We camped at Big Bend Resort & Adventures RV Park & Campground (Big Bend Motor Inn) in a Travel Trailer.

This place is a great location for visiting Big Bend National Park, just 3 miles from the west entrance. It was easy to pull in and out. The staff were nice however they were not very accommodating. It was not a busy time and the place was fairly empty. They assigned us an unsuitable spot due to trees in the way. We don't mind a back-in spot but there were several pull-through sites that were empty but they told us they were not available. We found a suitable back-in spot(56). The pull through sites were never occupied the entire time we were there, so that was very annoying. The place was all dirt roads with gravel sites for the RV. The picnic tables were falling apart and our site did not even have one so we had to carry one over from another site. There is some kind of sewer plant nearby that stinks terribly when the wind blows. The electricity surged twice while we were there and we also encountered low voltage. The water was terrible. It had an awful taste, could not suds up while shampooing and very hard to rinse soap off. All in all not a good experience. Next time we will go elsewhere. We camped at Big Bend Resort & Adventures RV Park & Campground (Big Bend Motor Inn) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Visit the Starlight Theater for live music and bar food. Sit on the porch and talk to the locals. It is located in Terlingua Ghost town. You can't miss it.

Also visit La Kiva. It is a restaurant bar that has amazing decor, very unique setting. We didn't eat there but tried the Jalapeno margarita and it was delicious.

Big Bend National Park is an amazing place. We did several great hikes and be sure to drive into the park at night to star gaze. It is the darkest place in the country.

We had a pull through site with full hookups. The water, 30 amp electric and sewer hookups were all good, no problems. The sites are gravel with small trees and a picnic table. We had a little rain during our stay and the sites do not get muddy due to the sandy gravel, which is nice. The wifi signal and speed was really good. I like the fact that near the entrance to this RV park is a gas station with both gasoline and diesel, a restaurant and a store. We were very happy with this RV park and will stay here the next time we visit Big Bend National Park. Also, the management was very nice and helpful to us. We camped at Big Bend Resort & Adventures RV Park & Campground (Big Bend Motor Inn) in a Motorhome.

All gravel and dirt roads and pads. Flat with some trees and a little grass. Large RV park behind nice motel, no pool or playground. The pull thru sites are long and wide with FHU. No traffic noise. 4 bars Verizon cell signal and 3G mobile hot spot, good satellite signal, no local channels, no cable TV. No wi-fi at sites, only in rec room. Office staff friendly and helpful. Adjoining café, store and gas station clean and well stocked. After seeing other RV parks in the area, would stay here again. 5 miles from Terlinqua and 5 miles from Big Bend NP. Tips for other Campers:

Hints: Don't take the "River Road" inside the park. 50 miles of ugly rough dirt road - 5 hour trip and no river. Drive from Presidio TX to Terlingua on paved river road, very scenic. Café at RV park good. Try the Chili Pepper café 1/2 mile away for Mexican food and cold beer.

The word "resort" does not belong in this campground's name. Our campsite was in an area that would have seen much water if it had rained. It was dried, caked mud and dust with no grass, a broken square of stones (patio?), and a scrawny tree struggling to hold on. The wifi was terrible. The laundry had 12 washers and 20 dryers but many machines were out of order. We ate in the cafe every night. The food was good. We camped at Big Bend Resort & Adventures RV Park & Campground (Big Bend Motor Inn) in a Fifth Wheel.

Big Bend National Park needs 3 days to see it all. Cross the Boquillas border for an interesting adventure. Go to La Kiva and the Terlingua Ghost town to see a ghost town that's not a ghost town.

The park is very convenient to Big Bend National Park. The local populace and establishments exists because of the park and prices reflect that fact. The park is laid out nicely making it easy in and out with trailer. The water pressure is a little on the low side but adequate. Wifi exists but weak. There is a lounge room to use if you need a strong signal. There are showers but are coin operated. I pull a 32 foot trailer. weekly rate. Wifi okay for a campground. Trees and some grass landscaping, dusty roads when the wind blows. Beautiful mountains and desert scenery surrounding you. It is a long way from anywhere so bring what you need, surrounding stores and resturants expensive. Off road motorcycles for rent from GSM Motorent. Lots of great off roading in the park (Big Bend) and other areas. We camped at Big Bend Resort & Adventures RV Park & Campground (Big Bend Motor Inn) in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here in March 2016. I made a reservation online after being unable to get one in Big Bend. The initial site assigned to us online by Forever Resorts turned out to be a back-in with a dirt road in front and on the side near a bunch of popups. I went back to the office and asked for a different site and was assigned one without a single problem. The full hook-ups all worked fine, it was easy in and out and quiet despite being a busy place with a motel, RV sites, and tent sites. Other interaction with different office personnel were also pleasant. One should keep in mind that Terlingua is a desert community so if you are expecting a lot of grass and a lot of trees with shade, you won't find it. The majority of the pull-thru sites do have a tree. Showers are pay but we have our own so that was no issue for us. It is an easy drive into Big Bend and, if you have a medium or larger size RV, probably a better choice. I would definitely park there again. The office gave us the Good Sam discount when we checked out. We camped at Big Bend Resort & Adventures RV Park & Campground (Big Bend Motor Inn) in a Fifth Wheel.

This RV park is in the middle of the desert in Texas. It is sand. There is a lot of wind and the roads on the property are not paved. It is a large gravel area but all of the RV parks are about the same. It is very Big Bend Nat'l Park where it is difficult to find any RV spots. The property also has a motel in the front and they have a very nice game room where it is possible to bring one's computer and get some internet time. The phone service is almost non-existent for T-Mobile and Verizon - when here you are pretty much "off the grid". But, the area is amazing, more of that later. This is as good a park as we saw and we would stay again. The sites are level and it varies as to how close together they are located. Not laid out in a real organized way throughout the park but it does provide some mighty nice sunsets and sunrises to view. We camped at Big Bend Resort & Adventures RV Park & Campground (Big Bend Motor Inn) in a Motorhome.

Check-in attendant was rude. We asked more than once about a pull-through and the response was the same "I'll address that in a minute".

The area for RV was nothing more than a crushed caliche lot with hookups. Our site #33 had damp gray water refuse where a previous camper didn't properly drain. Early one morning a food service truck (18 wheeler) came in and sent caliche and dust flying. The white residue settled everywhere. The showers they provided required quarters to use. Good thing we didn't need that "amenity". This place was awful and by no means a resort! We camped at Big Bend Resort & Adventures RV Park & Campground (Big Bend Motor Inn) in a Travel Trailer.
