Nice park with decent sites facing large pond. However, they are gravel and with all the water Texas has had it was hard to stay level. Very close to highway so depending on where you were you can hear the traffic. We camped at Bluebonnet Ridge RV Park in a Motorhome.

We used this as a base camp. There are very friendly ducks waddling around, which was nice. Calming lake. Little highway noise but not objectionable. Bath house was clean, utilities were working, didn't try cable TV. Site pad was gravel and kind'a level. We camped at Bluebonnet Ridge RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

A few miles outside of Terrell, TX off of I-20. Roads in the cg are paved.
I called a few hours in advance to reserve a site for the night. They only had 1 spot left so I was glad I had done this. You can do online reservations but not for same day check in. Check in was quick and service friendly.

Nice store with many rv supplies, food, cleaners, first aid, etc. They had a few refrigerated and frozen items. Many books available to borrow.
Stayed in site # 25. Pull through, gravel surface with grass in between. Included picnic table, grill and fire pit. Hookups were a bit odd. The sewer connection was almost a foot off the ground. Shrubs were planted close to each set of hookups for aesthetics but they were a bit in the way.
Neighbors were all friendly. Several came over to greet us right away.
Some shade.

Wifi is great. They have many boosters located throughout the cg.
We came in from I-30 down some country roads so I was expecting us to be more secluded but the park does back up to I-20. Sites on that edge of the cg in particular should expect to have significant road noise.
Pets are allowed. Didn't see a designated dog run area.
Sparkling pool and hot tub with lots of lounge seating around the pool area. A gas grill was also available for use. Fitness center with 2 treadmills, spinning bike, bench press and universal machine.

Large room for gatherings or rallies with several round tables as well as lounge seating and a kitchen.

Large laundry facility with 3 different capacity washers and 8 dryers.

2 very clean unisex restrooms each with a toilet, shower sink and bench/hooks.

Note:They may scrutinize rv's older than 10 years. We camped at Bluebonnet Ridge RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Also has a small lake where you can fish catch-and-release without a license. In the office, there were pics of some very nice bass and catfish that had been caught in the lake.

Originally planned 1 night stay, they were able to accommodate for extra night. Very helpful, very clean and well kept facility. Would recommend to friends. Easy access to campground and sites. Easy access to interstate; within 30 minutes of Dallas and surrounding area. We camped at Bluebonnet Ridge RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We have made it a point to stay here on our trips through for many years...maybe 6? Excellent service with knowledgeable check in staff. Gravel pull through site was fine even after Texas floods. We always enjoy the pool though it does not seem to be heated. A quality stop for the night. Many permanents. We will continue to stop here. We camped at Bluebonnet Ridge RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Noticed new Tanger Outlet Mall just west of this park on I 20.

Just stopped for one night on way thru. Office was friendly and helpful. Site was a nice long and level pull-thru. Utilities worked fine. The water hookup was a little low but manageable. A little close to I-20 so there is a little road noise but not bad. If in the area would definitely stay again. We camped at Bluebonnet Ridge RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We have stayed before and returned while were in the Dallas Area. The sites are wide and long. The services are all working well in the middle for easy hook up. The office staff is very friendly and helpful. The park has a pond and a very rural setting but it is close to things to do without being in the city. We will return. We camped at Bluebonnet Ridge RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Just stayed here one night, but, after spending just the one day here, I'd certainly consider spending more time in order to explore the area and I'll certainly be staying here if passing through the area again. Had a little noise from the I20 being nearby, but, it wasn't overly intrusive, though, it was cool enough that we had the windows shut. They also had free cookies on registering for the site; freshly made, ours were fresh out of the oven, and quite tasty. A nice touch after spending the day in the "driver's seat". We camped at Bluebonnet Ridge RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Top notch RV park just off I-20. Large pull-throughs, some back-ins. Awesome "doggie playground" fenced for the pup to run. Showers and laundry clean and large, handicap access. Entire park tree lined. Reception friendly, very helpful. Recommend highly; would stay again. Camped with 40 ft rig and toad. We camped at Bluebonnet Ridge RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here one weeknight and had a full hookup site. It was a long, gravel, pull-through that was not level. Most sites I saw were using some sort of leveling device. The sites are about half back-ins (along north and south edges of the park)and half pull-throughs (in the center of the park). I think all sites are FHU with about 25 channel cable TV. Several channels were not clear and some folks might be disappointed in not having any sports channels (ESPN, Fox, etc.). There were at least 5 separate, very dark, individual, bathrooms in the main building. This building also included the office, a small store, a reasonable ($1.25) laundry, a large meeting room with kitchen. The pool is small and there is also a hot tub. The park has a tennis court and a man-made pond (this is their so-called lake) for fishing. Most of the occupied sites seemed to be there for extended stays, but there were plenty of sites available for overnighters when we were there. The park Wi-Fi network was a little slow but OK. Their handout specifies that customers should not watch TV/movies, stream, game, etc. on their Internet system. The only recycling is just aluminum cans; that's better than many Texas RV parks. I saw no signs at the interstate exit directing you to the park. We camped at Bluebonnet Ridge RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice park in a rural setting. Easy on and off freeway. About 45 minutes from Dallas. Good Wi-Fi and cable. Long spots that can accommodate big rigs. Lots of permanent residents, but the sites are very well kept, so that is not a problem. The main office with its laundry, meeting hall, and porch have a nice community feeling. We would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Bluebonnet Ridge RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Friendly, helpful staff. Quiet area even though very near interstate (could see cars from RV site). Very clean, manicured grounds, well-lit at night. Nice pool/spa and great laundromat. Will definitely return. We camped at Bluebonnet Ridge RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice park with friendly staff. We stayed several nights. We made a 4,700 mile trip and these were the nicest bathrooms/showers we saw. Gravel rather than paved was only thing keeping me from rating a 10. We camped at Bluebonnet Ridge RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice park. The roads and sites are gravel but the sites are good size and long. The office personnel was very friendly and helpful. It is about 35 miles into the Dallas proper but not a bad drive. The nice part is it is in the county and has the open range feel. The lake is a nice touch. We would stay again when in the area.
