40 Parks near Tiki Island, Texas
May 2016 - $20.00
We loved this park! Right on the island. Super close to Galveston Island just over the bridge. Nice fishing spot right from their dock. Very nice people that run the park. We stayed there for 7 month last year. We paid $400 a month plus electric. Washers and dryers are FREE!!! - SGTABN82
Dec 2014 - $30.00
This is a gem of a park. It is the cleanest and best run park we have been to. There are many permanent rigs but they must maintain a well-kept site or leave. Two great complementary laundry rooms. Two public decks by the water.
We would definitely stay here again. - Al H
Oct 2013 - $50.00
This is a hidden gem of a park. It is mostly seasonal residents but it is a beautiful park along the inter coastal waterway. The sites are level concrete and look brand new. There is a small patch of grass between the sites. The views are spectacular. The staff is great and the owner very nice. They offer FREE washer and dryers in there immaculate laundry rooms. The only negative that we had was the train whistles that are very loud day and night. Beautiful sunsets and the proximity to Galveston Island and shopping, along with the other things mentioned, would make us come back and stay here again. - followin' the sun
Aug 2016 - $25.00
Great stay... Gulf of Mexico is only a short walk from sites... Our site was very close to a brand-new shower facility; one of the nicest & cleanest we have ever visited! Tested power prior to hooking-up; power clean and stable. Ran all air conditioners and electrical systems with no problems. There is a dump station as you exit the park on the north side of the road. Only drawback is the way sites are aligned with your neighbor's fire pit/grill area; the driver's side rear of our rig was about 5 feet from their fire pit. Park was very clean. Great walking/hiking paths on bay side of park. - Charles & Wanda
Jun 2016 - $25.00
Nice park with 3 sections (12 sites each). Each site has a covered picnic table. There are no trees at the sites. Reservations are highly suggested as the campground is full most nights in the summer. Beach access for each camping section is nearby and an easy walk - and there wasn't any sort of crowd on the beach no matter what time of day you went. There is a new bath/shower house (we did not use). Pads are cement and level - easy to back in and setup. Pads do flood easily after rain and there were park employees who came by to drain the water from the pads. There is also a section on the bay side with a loop for campers and a loop for tents (shower house is located on the tent loop). - Dave Hole
Jan 2016 - $20.00
Spaces close together, no vegetation for screening but not a problem at all. Stayed on bay side as opposed to beach side due to windy, cold, rainy weather. Would stay here again. - donw78025
Sep 2016 - $40.00
First of all this park isn't "Big Rig" friendly although the receptionist stated it was and we'd be fine. We have a 40' Class A Motorcoach and 24' trailer we had no room. The grassy areas in the park aren't cared for. The gym smells like mold, the laundry smells like mold. Both the adult pool and the kid's pool were murky which means they need more chlorine. I couldn't allow my kids to swim in them because I was scared of them getting dysentery. Please cleanup this site. Great potential if they work on it more. - Sassyea
Sep 2016 - $40.00
We have stayed here many times. RV resort about 7+ miles west of end of Galveston Seawall on West Galveston Island ( many residential developments west to San Luis Pass). Resort needs some updating, but has concrete driveways, strong but slow wifi, limited cable, strong rooftop tv reception., grass growing, palm trees and many family activities( putt putt etc needs updating) one pool very cloudy and other pool fine. Rec room upstairs. Waffle breakfast on Saturday morning $6.pp. - Oooooooo
Aug 2016 - $45.00
Lots to do for kids, but the place is overgrown and pools are cloudy and dirty. Showers were slimey. I don't think we will be back.
People were nice. This place needs a serious overhaul and update. Could be great but it was overall just meh. (Mediocre, lackluster, unexceptional and/or uninspiring.) - Jenna L
Jul 2016 - $50.00
We stayed here during July 4th. This is a great park right on the beach. The staff are super helpful and our site backed up to the ocean. We loved our time here. You are right at the beach. It was great and very relaxing. - scruggsfamilyRV
Feb 2016 - $32.00
We stay here once a year. We don't use the restrooms or laundry so we can't comment on those. There are several new parks that have been built, but none are on the beach like Dellanera. Concrete pullthrus, good utilities, free wifi. No cable but satellite dish or antennae work well. The rate is for a weekly winter rate of $225. Beaches were really clean during our stay. - The Griffins
Feb 2016 - $45.00
This was the 4th time I have stayed at the park. The location and convenience to the beach is great, just a short walk on a boardwalk but since the arrival of a new manager, the overall appearance and service has declined.
It rained heavily one night and the water on the drive in front of our row of rvs was 2"-3" deep. It could have been handled with a simple shovel near the drainage ditch but no one bothered.
The grass everywhere needs treated for small burrs that are very uncomfortable for your dogs and people when they are tracked in.
The restroom would be out of paper towels for 2 days at a time.
The laundry is ok but 3-4 washers were very old and rusted in places.
Used to love this place but its going downhill since the old manager left. - tulsa321
Aug 2016 - $48.00
This resort is fairly new and terrific. They are VERY clean and spots are wide. They have a variety of pull through and back in. They have volleyball, horseshoes, a swimming pool, ping pong, corn hole. Great access to the beach: either drive or, walk on, or Park right across the street. FHU's and free wifi and cable. Bathrooms and showers are locked with a code so don't forget it!
The hosts drive around in the evening, in a golf cart and were available. The pool and hot tub were clean and nice! Bring comfy towels as the lounge chairs are a bit hard. It was great! We will definitely be back here! - Jenna L
Mar 2016 - $43.00
This park was a breath of fresh air! So spacious and roomy, with great views of west bay and glimpses of the gulf. Very quiet. We loved it here. We will go back in the fall! Nice pool and hot tub too.
Sites are very spacious; all sites are 20' x 65' concrete pads. All sites have grills and picnic table. Utilities worked without problems and were well located. Roads are wide, the entire park is very accessible, with plenty of space to unhook and hook up. There is a large clubhouse which is available to rent for gatherings; showers, restrooms, and laundry available. There is a pond on-site for catch and release fishing. Free WiFi available, no problems. Owner was very friendly and welcoming! The beach/Gulf of Mexico is just across the road; plenty of beach access within a very short drive. - wandering2
Mar 2016 - $18.00
We really did not have a good experience here. The only positive comment that we have is that the sites were large with good separation between RVs. The Internet did not work for the majority of our stay. When we approached the staff about this issue, they said that we should purchase our own hotspot and gave us an 800 number to call the Internet provider directly. We were astounded by the poor customer service. The cable was spotty at best. The pool was not heated, and the hot tub was filthy, so we didn't use either. The water pressure was very poor here. While the park grounds were kept free of litter/debris, the surrounding beaches were filled with trash. It was disgusting to even go for a walk. We had hoped to kayak during our stay, but were so turned off by the amount of garbage that we didn't bother. Finally, the park is far removed from town, so not a good jumping off point if you want to visit Galveston. - BluegrassTravelers
Apr 2016 - $33.00
We lucked out and got a "view site" which really helped. All sites are back-in, and are close, which is no surprise in a beach town. I thought I read that they had a restaurant on site, so was disappointed when we arrived to see that it was closed, as were the two across the street. The lady at the desk was determined to be a bit of a sour-puss as she read her "rules" to me, no matter how hard I tried to cheer her up, but I don't let things like that bother me! The view was great, the sun was shining most of the time, and the location works really well to get to town! No Cable, their WiFi almost never worked, but we weren't here for that. Enjoy Galveston! - MarieB
Apr 2016 - $40.00
Great location. Friendly people. There is a bench from which you may watch boats, birds, and I was told (by a winter resident) sometimes dolphins. Site has picnic table and grass. Park is pet friendly. We planned to stay 2 nights. Stayed 4. Really liked people and location. - Nakotah
Mar 2014 - $37.00
We are here in a 45ft coach with 4 slides. There is plenty of room in site 32 and its right by the water. The other sites are smaller, but not bad. Its a great park and I was pleasantly surprised after reading bad reviews online. The employees are friendly. The only complaint I have is that there is dog poop on the grassy areas, but that caused by disrespectful campers that don't pick up after their pets. It would be hard for the park to monitor and police all pet owners all the time. - Arnold4adventure
Oct 2015 - $40.00
This is a very basic park. It has the necessary facilities, but they are minimal and "get by" quality. They were supposed to have WiFi, but couldn't get it to work - saw the signals. They are supposed to have satellite cable, but we just used our antenna, so don't know if it works or not. Lots of permanents here with not much to offer vacation campers.
The staff was friendly and helpful, so if the rest of the park were that good, it would be OK.
We stayed here 4 nights only because the park we normally stay at off 61st Street in Galveston was flooded due to rains and high winds. We were gone all day and only came back to sleep at night. It seems to be a safe place to stay, and fairly quiet.
We would not stay here again unless we were in a similar situation again. I think it is overpriced for what they have to offer. - luketx
Feb 2011 - $33.00
This park has been here for ten years, according to the owner. It needs some TLC. The concrete slabs are laden with gravel which could easily be swept up. The restrooms, showers and laundry room smell musty, due probably to a lack of ventilation. It's quiet here, though and easy to find. Owner is friendly. I got a 10% discount for cash. The small store's inventory is not kept up, although a few items are available. Low rating is due to the poor restrooms, etc. - Red Wolf Deux
Dec 2010 - $27.00
Nice clean park with double wide cement slabs to create enough parking for 2 cars. We selected the park because of the picture on their website of the nice pool and spa. I called ahead of time to make sure it was open this time of year, and they said yes. However after I checked in and swiped the credit card, they said the pool/hot tub were not open. In fact I don't think its ever open as they said it costs too much for them to heat it. Would have chosen a cheaper park if I had known this. Anyway later during our stay we had to leave the rig parked there for a few days while we took a side trip, and we felt very comfortable leaving it here, no problems. You can walk to the library, and Jack-in-the Box. - sysadmin
Jan 2010 - $12.00
We have stayed here several times as it is the most convenient to our former home/workplace when we come back for Doctor visits. Streets and sites are concrete with double width in the front of the site so you can park 2 vehicles. Voltage and water pressure is good. They have a convenience store with a good supply. The swimming pool is nice. The only real big negative is the sorry city streets that you have to use to get to and from the park. They are like a patchwork quilt. The owner lives on site. The rate reflects the monthly rate and electricity is on top of that. - zrxh14
Jun 2016 - $30.00
Ok considering this is not a destination location (in my opinion) and more of a stop over area it was more then adequate. We made a reservation for two spots as had travel companions. Called two days prior to make reservations. We advised of a late arrival but they said they could not guarantee someone would not take our spot. They indicated many ppl come in throughout the night and will take a spot if available. In any case we gave it a shot. Arrived at night but only one spot reserved. Luckily they listed other open spots and we found another for our companion. Site we spacious put not table, fire pit, etc. All spots all pull thru that I could tell. I would of rated 8 but knocked down due to reservation mixup and they are really first come first serve as someone can take your spot during late arrival if they are selfish. Trash bins were also overflowing but maybe it was a trash day. All in all good stopover spot with good pricing and adequate sites. Bathroom/showers were clean. - QFamCA
Jun 2014 - $20.00
Warning: If you enter by following the RV Park signs you will encounter a difficult right turn with a very deep ditch. The locals said there is at least one occurrence a month here. Our site had an electrical issue and we were relocated. They have cable, but you need to attach a separate box (office provides) to your TV. The landscape for the most part is very nice and the pool area, bathroom/showers, laundry are all kept clean. The new manager has gone out of his way to be helpful and the staff is nice. After finally getting settled, we are happy here. - JMTP
May 2014 - $25.00
Rate reflects $175/week price. I stayed here 20 days. Proximity to Galveston is excellent and weather is more like the beach. Long, wide concrete pads. WiFi (when it worked) was good if you were located near the clubhouse and pool, which I was. This park is associated with a RV sales site and repair facility. The receptionist was always friendly and helpful. Although showers were "clean", I think they'd look a lot better with tile floors rather than the concrete floors, which appeared kind of slimy. There appear to be many regulars in the back part of the park and Lots of trucks that leave really early in the morning. Of course, the park was pretty empty during the day then. The pool is beautiful. I have relatives near here and it is the best RV park near Texas City/La Marque (IMO). It is safe and easily accessible. Near I-45 with Walmart up the road about 2 miles. I would return here again. - cinharover
Mar 2015 - $30.00
This park is mostly full timers living in all kinds of trailers even one horse trailer with living quarters. Pads are small and some have a drop off on the sides and ends. A lot of working people living here so there is a lot of early morning traffic leaving and some just getting home from work. Water pressure good, power good, site was not level due to cracked concrete. All back in sites with a lot of extra vehicles sitting around. This is like a mobile home park but with all RV's. Children abound and some trailers have a lot of toys sitting around and under the trailers. If you cannot find anywhere else, a one night stay would be OK but be looking for a better RV park. I would not stay here again. Would be better off dry camping. - Jay O
Mar 2011 - $30.00
Great place to stay! We enjoyed the people and the park very much! We will be back. - happy campers2
Oct 2010 - $25.00
The sites have concrete pads but they are busted up a little. Kind of hard to level the RV. There was a lot of standing water and muddy behind my RV site. It was cold but I can see that if it where warmer, mosquito's would be a problem. Overall not too bad. Would stay here again. - JayOTR
