The manager of the park is rude, and this place is not friendly, especially to veterans. Rules are discriminatory against the elderly and disabled. The facilities are not ADA compliant. Sewer hookups are 6-12 inches above pads making it almost impossible to get fall on the sewer line; a very poor design. An aerobic system sprays all over the dog park area. Fishing piers are old and in horrible condition, and fishing in the lake is catch and release. The park is overrun with wild hogs which tear up the property and pose a major danger to dogs and people. Police have been called on several occasions about guests being hostile. Traffic from trucks on the highway is very loud and disturbing. In short, this place is the bottom of the barrel, despite the fact it could be very nice. There are plenty of other places in the area which are more friendly. We camped at Lions RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Our experience was very good. This is a small very quiet park. They try to target a mature customer, and therefore don't have anything for small children. They do have a small private lake with fishing for customers as well as a paddle boat for free use. Each site has a table and there is a nice community pavilion and barbecue grill. The staff and owner were very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. There are a number of long term residents but all are very well kept sites and trailers. We would not hesitate to recommend them. We camped at Lions RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

What a great RV Park, sites are a little on the small side but there was plenty of pasture area to exercise our dogs. The lake is beautiful and the fishing was good. The managers are very friendly and nice. The park and all amenities were very clean. We will definitely be back to this park. We camped at Lions RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

My wife and I are full time RV'ers and we came here to stay for a couple of weeks. That was three months ago and we are still here!! It is such a beautiful place with great managers, great neighbors, and great owners. It is very clean and well maintained by both the managers and owners. As a full timer you often see other full timers that sometimes trash out their area but not at this park. All the neighbors and management seem to take pride in preserving the beauty and solitude of this park; as well as, pitching in to help each other with anything that comes up. Great place to visit or stay full time!! We camped at Lions RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

The park is the best run park we stayed in this winter. We stayed a month and the time was extremely enjoyable. We paid $325.00 a month plus electricity. The park has a 5 acre fishing lake that you don't need a Texas fishing license to fish in as the lake is privately owned. The owners are extremely nice as well as helpful people. We learned they are putting in four new pads that will be 40' by 24' and covered. This has prompted us to consider coming back to spend the entire winter next year. I wish more parks were as neat, clean, and well run as this park. Congratulations to the owners, as I generally don't have this many good things to say about a park. We camped at Lions RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
