We loved our stay here. Very friendly people and . They go above and beyond to help. I needed a lot since my husband worked out of town. Beautiful place to walk your dog and laundry on site which is a plus. Thanks for being good to us! We camped at Lions RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

I am walking across the USA to raise money for spinal cord injury, I am travelling with 1 support team member. We have stayed at several RV parks since leaving Carlsbad California - we arrived at Lions RV without a reservation. We were met by the owner and taken to be introduced to his manager. They are a small park with a lot of permanents.. They had one space which we rented for the week. The price was more than fair. The grounds are beautiful, well kept and easy to walk, the bathroom is spotless and the shower is hot with excellent water pressure. In my opinion it is the best RV park we have stayed in, during the 14 weeks we have been travelling. We camped at Lions RV Park in a Motorhome.

I stayed for 2 months in one of the park cabins and it was absolutely wonderful! The cabin was very clean, well stocked and my front porch faced the private lake which was just gorgeous and peaceful. There was a on-site laundry and you can fish right out the front door just about. The owners were also very accommodating and attentive and a pleasure to interact with. This place is a diamond find!!! We camped at Lions RV Park in a Cabin.

This is a small, no frills campground. There is little for children to do, so take that into account. Most of the guests are long term. The campground is clean and well maintained. The camp sites are level and easily accessed. Management is onsite and very attentive to your needs. We were here for several days and will definitely stay here again next time we are in the Tyler area. We camped at Lions RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

The park owners have put a lot of hard work into this nice adult RV campground. There's fishing in the private lake, and camping under the stars. It's just far enough away from the hub-bub of city living, but close enough to shopping and all the entertainment of Tyler and Lindale. The park is kept clean and tidy, and the park manager is there to answer any questions! We stayed in a 40" RV, from October to March. Would come and stay again, if we should be passing through! Thank you for making our stay and enjoyable one!! We camped at Lions RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Entertainment and Shopping in Lindale (to the West), and Tyler (to the South).

Bass and crappie fishing in the park's lake... best part, no fishing license required, as it's a private lake. Catch and eat, or catch and release!

Star gaze at night, in the peace and quiet of the evening!

Overall Rating:

Stopped for a week but ended up staying a month. Rate reflects monthly cost. Perfect park for extended stay to see the area. The road had some noise during day but became quiet at night. Plenty of room for our 37' fifth wheel. The Wi-Fi was so good we did not use ours. Had good AT&T service. The managers were great. Friendly and helpful even taking us with them out to eat. Some units are long term but areas are clean and well kept. The park residents were friendly. For the fishermen the lake appeared to have plenty of fish. We will return if in area. We camped at Lions RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

What a great RV Park, sites are a little on the small side but there was plenty of pasture area to exercise our dogs. The lake is beautiful and the fishing was good. The managers are very friendly and nice. The park and all amenities were very clean. We will definitely be back to this park. We camped at Lions RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

My wife and I are full time RV'ers and we came here to stay for a couple of weeks. That was three months ago and we are still here!! It is such a beautiful place with great managers, great neighbors, and great owners. It is very clean and well maintained by both the managers and owners. As a full timer you often see other full timers that sometimes trash out their area but not at this park. All the neighbors and management seem to take pride in preserving the beauty and solitude of this park; as well as, pitching in to help each other with anything that comes up. Great place to visit or stay full time!! We camped at Lions RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Having been on a very busy extended trip (almost 6 months) we were looking for a quiet RV park to settle for a couple of weeks. In East Texas, just north of Tyler, we found a gem in the Lions RV Park. It is located in quiet countryside; you never hear the Interstate, airplanes or trains. From any of the full-hookup sites you can enjoy the 20 acres of treed, rolling hills and the 4-acre spring-fed lake. If you take the time to "smell the roses", you can count the beneficial carp, turtles and other lake inhabitants. Some campers have been skilled enough to catch up to 4 pound bass. It has a comfortable club house, almost new laundry equipment, outdoor smokers and BBQ and sunset-watching piers are available for all to enjoy. If we didn't have obligations at home, we would have stayed for another week. We camped at Lions RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

The park is the best run park we stayed in this winter. We stayed a month and the time was extremely enjoyable. We paid $325.00 a month plus electricity. The park has a 5 acre fishing lake that you don't need a Texas fishing license to fish in as the lake is privately owned. The owners are extremely nice as well as helpful people. We learned they are putting in four new pads that will be 40' by 24' and covered. This has prompted us to consider coming back to spend the entire winter next year. I wish more parks were as neat, clean, and well run as this park. Congratulations to the owners, as I generally don't have this many good things to say about a park. We camped at Lions RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
