We stayed at Spring Creek for almost a year. It took until July for the swimming pool not to be full of algae. The bathrooms are cold and the showers extremely slippery. No electric outlets. There is constant demolition around the park. Where there once were trees new sites were half set up. When to be completed? This left constant sand wind storms. In a year we saw a lot of attempts of improvements, none completed. Large piles of wood with a lot of live things in them. Just like clearing off the field for storage units that the tenants are to rent because nothing is permitted outside your unit. Animals are not treated well there either, not pet friendly. The place was great when the last park host was there once she left it went downhill. New rules were enforced and because we have a disabled person who needs certain amenities and told after almost a year could not have them and had to take them down were forced to leave. Top it off rates are going up. We camped at Spring Creek RV Resort Of Tyler in a Motorhome.
This is a nice, clean park. The sites are pull-through. There had been lots of rain, but because of the soil, there were no problems with standing water. Lots of trees on some sites. All were easy to navigate. They are building more sites because of a long wait list for long-term people wanting to stay in this park. Super quiet! Very pretty! Would have loved to have had time to swim in the small pool. Hosts were great! Would stay again if they had a site available. We camped at Spring Creek RV Resort Of Tyler in a Travel Trailer.
Tips for other Campers:
Tyler, Texas is a very pretty small city. There are lots of area lakes and fun things to do in town. The zoo is nice. The Rose Gardens are lovely.

This park is aesthetically appealing but functionally a disappointment. The restrooms look nice on the inside but the building is not heated or cooled (we froze when taking a shower). There is no electrical plug in the bathroom and the lights are on a timer. Every day we took a shower the lights would go out while showering. We had to wait for the lights to reset and then jump around to get the lights to come back on. The bathroom was sanitized once in two weeks. When it rained the RV site was muddy. The entrance is not maintained so the road is rough. The homemade speed bumps can really wreck havoc if you don't come to pretty much a stop and then slow roll over. The owner is nice but hardly ever around. We camped at Spring Creek RV Resort Of Tyler in a Motorhome.

Site was very unlevel, and electric hookups didn't work at our site. We had to run a cord to next site. Dog waste all over and no one to clean pool or mow grass. It say's you can fish in their lake and play on their nine hole putting green, but we never saw either one. Very dark at night as the only lights were the ones on extension cords hung up in the trees. We paid for a week or we would have left the next day. We camped at Spring Creek RV Resort Of Tyler in a Fifth Wheel.

My husband had heart surgery in Tyler and we stayed here at Spring Creek. It is very quiet and he had a wonderful recovery. Owner is very nice. Great area for walking and beautiful parking, mostly paved. Loved it here!!! We camped at Spring Creek RV Resort Of Tyler in a Fifth Wheel.
