Simple no-frills park 5 miles west of Tyler. Close to WalMart and fast food. Converted trailer park = nice BIG/long spacious sites. Premium sites include better pads, privacy fencing, and premium WiFi. Friendly management and workcampers. Reason I only gave it a 7 is because it's pretty bare-bones but has potential to be much more. Beware - anything heavy will sink in some spots if there's been a lot of rain. If you're driving a big rig like us (45' 5th wheel pulled by a semi) ask for spot #22 or 19 where you can back straight in, and the gravel pads are deep & long. Most gravel and asphalt pads in the first row is very thin. $1.50 per load for large-capacity W/D. Water pressure was low but not horrible. Interior road is gravel and a bit rutted but nice & wide, no trees. The only 2 pullthrough spots are difficult to access as they are at a 90-degree to road and are narrow. We loved site #22! We camped at We RV Champions of Tyler (formerly RV Parks R us) in a Fifth Wheel.

The weekend help was all but. The lady was loud. The laundry room trash hadn't been dumped. The shower had hair in it. Lint filters were full. The managers were nice. The man was very helpful in helping us get set up, and the lady was very nice. They told us about some great places to eat. Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

I really enjoyed our stay at the park. It was a very affordable option at only $300/month. It is a converted mobile home park so the lots are really spacious with concrete pads and extra large parking spots in front of each spot. We were able to park our custom tow trailer, my guy's Harley Ultra Limited (large) and my Ford Escape side by side in that parking space the whole time. The managers were awesome; polite and helpful all the time. If we needed anything, they would assist immediately. In the front building, there was a laundry area with 2 washers and dryers and a full bathroom with a shower and toilet (like in a home). There was also a seating area with a big table and chairs. Everything was always clean in the whole building. Unfortunately the wifi never really worked at all. You could get email but even with a wifi booster in our coach, we weren't able to stream movies or shows. There were only 8 or so channels available from the antenna as well (including 3 shopping and 2 Spanish). There was also no pool but that wasn't as a big a deal to us as not having wifi, even in the Texas heat. We camped at We RV Champions of Tyler (formerly RV Parks R us) in a Motorhome.

If you are in Tyler, definitely go to Jucy's burgers! They are amazing and inexpensive with free baked beans and an updated soda machine for flavored sodas. They also serve tater tots!

The park was recently acquired by a new owner. I found the park to offer even more niceties than anticipated. Though we arrived later in the day (causing a little anxiety) but discovered the staff would help me get setup. They made this easy! In no time, we were enjoying our spacious lot and amenities like wi-fi. I highly recommend the location, the condition of the park, and the employees. Overall Rating:

This park is conveniently located just off HWY 64 and Loop 49. It is easy to find and is well laid out. They offer back-in sites, but there is plenty of room for navigation so even those of us who aren't so good at backing in had no problems. Some sites have shade trees. All sites have a nice cement patio pad and gravel park spots. There is only one bathroom for males or females, but it was clean and had lots of hot water. The hosts are gracious and wonderful people! I have family in the area and will definitely be coming back to stay here. I rated my site a 4 because, of course I always want a shade tree in Texas in the summer! There are lots of fun things to do in the Tyler area. It is very pretty here! The zoo is fun. The rose garden is beautiful and you can see all the gowns from the Rose Festival queens. There are lots of area lakes for fishing and boating. If you can visit during the Azalea Festival during the spring, it will not disappoint! The historic areas of Tyler with all the azaleas in bloom delights all who come to visit!

The park has sites set up like you have in your own yard. Very clean with a large walking track in the center. We have stayed all over the United States and the young couple managing this RV park had to be the nicest I have ever met! It is located minutes from the toll road with very easy access. We would have stayed longer but needed more walking paths for my larger breed dog. We camped at We RV Champions of Tyler (formerly RV Parks R us) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

WalMart nearby. Along with a large grocery store. Minutes to access loop that circles the city has everything you would need from a mall, car repair, CiCi's pizza, Harbor Freight, too many to mention. Lake Palestine is nearby with boating and fishing available. The campgrounds surrounding the Lake are almost double the price and parking together like sardines.

Nice clean park. Easy in and out. Good water and electric. Friendly staff. Not sure about the last evaluation but may have lots of permanent campers but most RV parks do now. No problem with them at all. Only have back-ins; that is why I gave it a 8. Going to put some in soon. Looks like a new park. I will stay here again if needed as I pass through this area. Have some trees and you can have your choice of spots. Good Wi-Fi. We camped at We RV Champions of Tyler (formerly RV Parks R us) in a Motorhome.

A very basic park. It is clean. We were the only non full timer. It is close to town. 5 miles. Hosts are friendly. We stayed 3 nights due to visiting friends in the area. Rate should be $20.00. Over priced. Could hear highway traffic. Would not stay again. We camped at We RV Champions of Tyler (formerly RV Parks R us) in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Very spacious grass lots with slab patio. Lots of space between units and ample parking for extra vehicles or equipment at each site. Utilities worked as they should with no problems. Wi-Fi was okay most of the time but had it's moments. No cable available but enough clearance of treetops to get satellite reception. Well maintained, clean full bathroom, meeting room, complete laundry with two washers and two dryers. Gravel approach in a large rectangular circle. Quiet atmosphere very little hwy noise and 24 hour security with hosts living on site. Nice shade trees on the outer circle of sites. Convenient to 323 Loop in Tyler (4.5 miles to Walmart) and easy access to all the big box stores and convenient location at the 49 Tollway and Hwy 64 junction. Will accommodate all sizes of rigs. Just no pull-through sites unless you pull across the center sites in grass. The ground is a bit soft so be sure to use your wide pads before setting the gear down. We will stay here every time we come through this area. Love our stay for two months. We camped at We RV Champions of Tyler (formerly RV Parks R us) in a Motorhome.

A friend and I stayed at this park. It was really convenient to everything but what we like most was the park like atmosphere. Lots of trees, lots of undeveloped grassy areas, strong wi-fi (essential) and clean restrooms and laundry. Too, the management was friendly but not nosy. I will stay there again! Park was OK for a short stay. Friendly staff. Unusually long set of rules requiring written acknowledgement. Site was long and level back-in. Lots of road noise even though we were not all that close to the roads. Also had some aircraft noise from the regional airport about 1 mile away. Overall Rating:

I've been a fulltimer for nearly 20 years and very seldom do I find an RV park worthy of a review. This is an exception and here's why: Quiet, double and triple-sized lots, excellent WiFi, solid electric service and best of all ... the friendliest camp hosts you'll ever run in to. Although I used only the washers and dryers, I peeked in on the restroom and everything looks brand new. If you want to pay way too much for a pool and other resort-type goodies, pass this one up. If you want what I wrote in the second sentence above, you owe it to yourself to spend some time here. You won't be sorry.
