2 Parks near Vernon, Texas
Nov 2012 - $20.00
Stayed here after previously using another park in Vernon. While this one is small with no amenities, if offers a good place to spend the night or a few. It's reasonably priced ($90 for the week)and the hookups all work. If it had Wi-Fi, I would score it higher. It's easy to find and the managers are very cordial. We will use it again and we stay in this area several times a year. - tbax46
Oct 2016 - $30.00
Nice park for an over night stop. Especially since Wal-Mart is next door so you can stock up on supplies. Water pressure is good and so is Wi-Fi. Only some sites have cable TV. Satellite reception should be good. Right next to US 287 exit, however, there was very little highway noise. The only problem is the train. The park is next to the main freight line from Dallas to Amarillo and it is very busy - 24/7. Train horns are often and loud. Except for the train - it is a nice place. - rv time
Sep 2016 - $29.00
Very nice lady at check-in. Guy who led us to our site was rough and abrupt. Zero personality and appeared to resent us being there.
Grass grounds were well kept. It had rained recently but grass lot still held up well for parking our 45' motorhome.
I would avoid staying here again because of the parking guy.
Road approaching cg and interior had some potholes. - racer0624

I would have rated this higher except for the gentleman who parked us. His wife, who checked us in was very nice. In contrast, he was abrupt, sarcastic, and generally devoid of personality. The park itself was easy in- easy out as were the sites. As others stated, everything is on grass, which didn't present a problem. The wifi was very good and satellite set-up easy. ATT worked well. Walmart being within walking distance was very nice. We would probably stay here again. - vmi1962
