If you visit Waco stay here. While the Wifi is a little suspect they are improving it. But--be sure to take advantage of the breakfast, very very good. Pool is kid friendly. We camped at I-35 RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We literally bought our first RV and then drove it straight here for the month so we could spend time moving in and getting used to how everything worked on the trailer, in preparation for full time travel. The day before we picked up the trailer, I called 9 parks around the Dallas area and they were all booked. My 10th call was to I-35 RV Park and I was very relieved when they said I didn't need a reservation because "they are never full." Whew! Crisis averted.

The park was very large (200 spots) and had a mix a people living there full time, staying for a while, and over-nighters. All sites are FHU. One of the full time residents is an RV technician who will make "house calls." I had to use him for a water pump issue I couldn't figure out. He was courteous and fair on pricing (<$70 for 1 hour labor & $11 part).

There is small fenced dog area, but we took our dog into the massive back patch of land and let him run off-leash (responsibly, of course!) Breakfast from 7-9am for a donation. Pool was nice. You can receive packages in the mail room (include your lot #). 2 Laundry rooms on-site. They have partial shade, full shade, covered, and no shade spots; pull-throughs and back-ins.

If you stay the month, you will pay $0.14/kWh for electric and you will need to throw down a deposit; $150 for 50amp. We used $136 for the month of July with 1 air conditioner. Significant Highway noise if you are in the front half of the park. Friendly staff and neighbors. No complaints for our month long stay. We camped at I-35 RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Arrived after normal hours but the staff was friendly and helpful getting us to our site. The dog park is great and the breakfast was even better the next morning. Easy access from I-35 heading South. We camped at I-35 RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall a good place for over night parking. A nice big pool area, game and a fitness room and a free breakfast. The streets are paved, the sides are gravel/sand mix with grass on each side. They also have a smaller driving range and a nice dog area, only the free wifi was a pain in the a... but Verizon offered us with 3 bars a strong LTE signal so we used our smartphone as a hotspot. On the negative side are the restrooms and the shower (yes THE shower) because they have only one shower and two toilets on the men side, which is not enough for a campground in this size! We camped at I-35 RV Park in a Motorhome.

We have not been to this park since September 2008. They have increased the size. They offer free hot breakfast between 7 AM to 9 AM to anyone. The breakfast was very good. The park was very wet and soft. They have very poor drainage. We camped at I-35 RV Park in a Motorhome.

This was my 4th time staying at I-35, traveling to and from the Valley to spend the winter. Fast check in and led to site, which are mostly drive thru. Delicious breakfast was free, with tips expected. My MH wouldn't start this time, and the park truck got me on the road at no cost. TV reception was good using roof antenna. Will stay there again in November. We camped at I-35 RV Park in a Motorhome.

Convenient location however noisy. The highway noise is loud & continuous plus on Friday night there was the added sound of the drag racers from down the road. The sites were big wide grassy pull-thrus, fairly level, easy access to services. The free made to order breakfast was the real treat. We camped at I-35 RV Park in a Motorhome.

Fairly nice camp ground with lot of spaces and good space between. Highway noise was noticeable and the Friday night stock car races as mentioned. Free breakfast with tips was very nice. Lots of temp/full timers but well kept. Site was level. Might stay there again. We camped at I-35 RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Stopped here for three nights on our way home from the valley. Very happy that we did. We found the park to be very nice. Manager was very friendly and accommodating. What we noticed was that most of the long term were in the back and neat. New asphalt on all the front roads. New gravel on many sites. Most are level side to side and slightly lower in front. Although we did not use the restrooms they looked to be very clean. We did do laundry and it was excellent and inexpensive. Yes, we did hear the xway. (the park is on the frontage road) No cable but our antenna worked great. Wifi was usable but our att hotspot was better. The breakfast was great and well worth a good tip. Good hookup. And last but not least Waco was a great place to visit. We will be back and definently will be staying here. We camped at I-35 RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park is very convenient to Waco area. The sites are clean, even though they have a large number of long term residents. They have a nice pool area, a work out room, and a breakfast cafe on site. Laundry was clean and very inexpensive. We would go back if in the area. We were here for a month, so the rate reflects that. We camped at I-35 RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Waco has a number of things to do, including the Magnolia Market at the Silos (from the Fixer-Upper show on HGTV). The Dr. Pepper museum and the Texas Ranger museum are both there. There is also a Craft Village very close to the park, and it has several stores, artisan cheese, wood and other products, all made on site.

Very convenient park right on the service road for I-35. Yes, there is noise from the big trucks going by at 75 mph but we always bring earplugs for that possibility at night and when we had the TV on we didn't notice. Theres a big grassy area behind the park so lots of space to walk the dog They serve a free breakfast in the morning. Its a nice idea. They do not take credit cards, only cash or check. We camped at I-35 RV Park in a Motorhome.

Good for a one or 2 night stay. Right on I-35 so there is easy access into the park. WiFi was ok but not great. Sites are pull through but kind of close together. Had another motor home with slide outs next to me and if I had slide outs, it would have touched their slide outs. Other sites were fine for slide outs. Verizon air card worked fine, and Verizon phone had 3 bars most of the time. Big mowed field to walk your dog in. Roads are adequate in the park to maneuver on. Free breakfast at their café on site. They just opened an exercise room. We camped at I-35 RV Park in a Motorhome.

Listed as a resort. Way far from a resort. Gravel spots almost level. WiFi good 1st night 2nd night off and on. No TV hookups at all. No cable. They list free hot breakfast then ask for donations. Just not my kind of a resort. Just a OK spot to overnight. We camped at I-35 RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Good for an overnight stop and big rig friendly. Free breakfast in the morning is a nice touch. Sites are a mixture of gravel and grass and are packed down very well. There are no picnic tables or patios. They say they have over 200 big pull-thru sites, but most are occupied by long-term RVs. There seems to be enough upfront sites to fulfill the overnight demands. Plenty of room to walk the dogs, but there is no fenced-in area to let them run. We would stay here again if traveling and needed an overnight spot even though this park fast approaching needed road and site maintenance. We camped at I-35 RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
