We live full-time in our RV and are staying at North Crest. We've been here a little over 3 months now and absolutely LOVE it. The owner and manager has a heart of gold and works hard to keep his park well maintained and secure. This is the best park we've ever stayed at that keeps a marvelous balance between the full-timers and the short-term customers.

As far as full-time residents go, this park caters to people who have to move frequently for their jobs and to retired folks. The owner requires that the RVs that live here be clean, neat, and cared for (i.e., 10-year old rule). The park is quiet and friendly. No children live here, even though they are welcome guests during the summer, holidays, and weekends... very nice for grandparents. This park is the perfect environment for us.

The sites are shady with incredibly huge level concrete pads for your coach, your vehicles, and a provided picnic table and BBQ grille. The free cable TV is piped directly in via Time Warner Cable and is of extremely high quality. The free wi-fi internet is also one of the best we've ever experienced at an RV park. And our Verizon 4G/LTE signal is very strong.

Note: the nightly rate is based upon a monthly rate ($375)/30 days. We camped at North Crest RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Good park for a couple of days to visit Waco. The owner is real helpful. You have to get a box from the office and be able to connect it to one of your TVs to use the cable. Antenna received plenty of stations for us. There is no store or playground and one bathhouse with two rooms, no male or female. The sites are level concrete with parking for toad or tow. Each site has picnic table and BBQ grill. There is ALOT of road noise but shouldn't be a supprise. Lots of shade especially for a Texas campground. We would stay here again. We camped at North Crest RV Park in a Motorhome.

We just spent one night here while visiting friends. We are thinking of finding a reason to go back. The park is very clean with tons of trees. Lot spacing was spacious with covered/forested exposure. Site surface was a concrete pad and featured a picnic table. The park is accessible to I-35 and downtown Waco. The cherry on top is the gregarious owner. He is a hoot! (Also a nice guy). We camped at North Crest RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We visited Magnolia Market while in Waco. Be sure to go early. We also spent Cinco de Mayo at Manny's on the River. Big crowd as expected, great waiter, surprisingly good food given the mob.

Our stay at Northcrest was relaxing. The owner/manager knows all his tenants and works very hard to stay in touch with them. His attitude is one of a smile and a handshake. You can see the pride he takes in owning his park.

If you are looking for an upscale resort then continue on. If you are wanting to relax and feel safe in a beautiful town then come on in. The park is well laid out with shade trees and some flowers. The manager will back you in. This is helpful after a full day of travel.

One negative is the I-35 traffic. But with fans, heaters, or air on the noise is drowned out.

Yes, we will be back. Camped here in March 2016 also. We camped at North Crest RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Older park. site was generously sized with concrete pad and patio and BBQ. Full hookups all worked. Dish satellite worked great but probably wouldn't in most sites due to trees. Didn't use WiFi as our Verizon worked just fine. Owner is as awesome as stated in other reviews. Right off highway so road noise is constant. If you are coming from the north on I-35, make sure you use the directions provided by "ParkMark." Easier access than GPS directions. We camped at North Crest RV Park in a Motorhome.

Great owner/mgr. Older park, lots of trees, but manageable for getting around. Our site was a little tricky to get into, but the mgr. asked for the keys to the long bed, double cab pickup and backed the 30' trailer into the spot on a level concrete slab with handy hookups. Dish TV hookup available, but we didn't use it. Clean, comfortable, friendly park. When outside, the I-35 noise is constant, but didn't hear it in the trailer. Not a fancy place, but a good stop with a number of long-termers. We camped at North Crest RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Great park, large pull through sites, FHU, with cable and WIfi, the best Wifi you could ask for, each site had picnic table, showers and laundry, propane. The owner was great. Very laid back park and was very quiet. Sites very large and level. We camped at North Crest RV Park in a Motorhome.

I never tire of visiting Waco and when I visit, I always stay at North Crest RV Park. This is my 5th holiday in the Central Texas area and I would never consider staying anywhere else.
The quality of service and the first rated facilities have remain top notch from the get go.
The Park's manager is ever so helpful assisting us with propane, and ensuring that the restrooms, showers, and laundry area are ALWAYS spotless. I love ice cold refreshments, even in the winter, and we found out that there is an ice machine in the premises. Cool and cold! I totally recommend this RV Park. What an interesting place, if you want straight rows, open spaces this place is not for you. If you want a unique place try it out. Older park (21 years old) that has been updated. The owner is a hoot and really helpful. Close to I-35 so some road noise. Hook up easy, cable box gives perfect TV. Not the best for really large rigs but has a few appropriate spots. We would stay here again. We camped at North Crest RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This CG is clean with new picnic tables and grills. The roads and sites are gravel. The electric and sewer hookups were good but the water pressure was low. Our site was a covered concrete pad big enough for our 40. There was an additional fee for this site. There is lots of shade but NO amenities. The highway noise is loud and continuous. I can't say that this CG is big rig friendly. We camped at North Crest RV Park in a Motorhome.

Throughout this year 2015 I've been in/out of Texas several times. When in Central Texas, I invariable go back to North Crest (and by the way, the name on this site is wrong: it is not North Crest Manor, it is North Crest RV Park). This place is so clean. The owner/manager is on top of things! Everyday we see him tidying up, making sure that everything is spotless. I am pleased with the laundry facilities. No problem with wi-fi and/or television. Both signals are good. The showers are super sanitized. It's a pleasure to return to this RV Park. Love the foliage, specially now in the summer! My RV does not get extra hot thanks to the tree canopies! We camped at North Crest RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Catholic Mass: St Joseph is on the east side of the I-35 freeway, exit 338, with masses at 8:30 and 11:00am. St Peter Catholic Center at Baylor University has a Sunday mass at 9:00PM - Address: 1415 S 9th St -Waco.

At the RV park: local musicians get together for practice sessions, usually on Friday evenings - very entertaining. Don't miss the chance to chat with the Manager aka ParkMark.
