A great find! Great setting, plenty of trees and grass. Every site has a concrete patio and parking spot a sturdy picnic table and a BBQ grill on a pedestal , It is a little close to busy I-35, but the freeway does seem to quiet down at night. Owner is a casual, friendly and laid back guy. Some sites are tight with trees, so it may not totally big rig friendly. But there are sites that will accommodate the big ones. Lots of projects going on that will only improve the park. It's about 8-9 miles from downtown Waco, but I-35 makes short work of that trip. This is a great little park for an overnighter or an extended stay. We'd definitely stay here again. We camped at North Crest RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

We didn't get to spend enough time in Waco, there's just a lot to see and do. We did spend some time (and money) at Chip & Joanna Gaines (of HGTV fame) Magnolia Shops at the Silos. Us and about 2500 other folks. Also, someone suggested we go the Texas Rangers Historical Museum--well worth it! And we did take a drive into the country side to the Cedar Chest antique Mall. Lots of things there we hadn't seen in years and years. Friendly, helpful staff.

We really enjoyed this RV Park. It's close to Baylor and TSTC. The owner is a hoot and enjoys getting to know his customers. It's VERY shady, has a two person bath house and excellent WIfi. So shady, in fact, that I had a difficult time picking up my dish satellite TV even with the mobile Tailgater. Lots of improvements going on here. The downside is that it has easy access but that puts you close to the highway. Inside your camper, all is good, but outside you hear the road traffic. We plan on returning each time we are in Waco. We camped at North Crest RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice shade trees. Wide paved sites. Owner is fun and helpful. Water system pressure is regulated. Electric pedestals are in great shape. New picnic tables. Grills at each site. Will definitely stay here next time we are in the area. We camped at North Crest RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

North Crest RV Park in Waco is a fun and quirky stop, right off the interstate. "Park Mark" is a real character who makes every possible effort to accommodate his guests. It's not the Ritz, though! He's in the process of various projects around the park, so there are dirt mounds, backhoes and other equipment about - looks like he's expanding and adding spots. Plenty of long termers here, but everybody seems to enjoy it. The bathhouse, with wheelchair ramp, is brand new and he tried to tempt me into it by saying he'd also installed a water softener. We only stayed four days and I'm pretty comfortable showering in our rig, so I didn't check it out, but it looks nice and I was impressed that he'd added a ramp not because he was forced to but because he wanted to help his guests who needed it. Well, either way - it's a nice, new feature. The wi-fi worked very well and we were even able to use our firestick to catch up on Showtime shows. The cable was a bit funky, but worked. Part of the issue was our site had the utilities at the rear of the coach, so the Time Warner cable had a ways to go and we didn't have a barrel to connect our cable to his. I will also add that the concrete pad was incredibly level and Park Mark shared that he'd had them laser leveled. A bit extra expense but, once again, a good thing for the guests. I think when it comes to a Texas friendly great host, it's hard to beat Park Mark, which is why this park gets consistently high marks. Good job! We camped at North Crest RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Besides Magnolia (ahem! Yes, you've got to go, but go early!!), check out the Suspension bridge over the Brazos River, the Food Trucks nearby, the cute downtown and Dichotomy Coffee, and head out to Homestead Heritage Farms which is a few miles out in the country. Of course, Baylor is there, too, and for very hometown barbecue, Rudy's is great (but remember that 'moist' brisket is pretty fatty! and the Turkey is delish.)

Stayed 2 nights to see the sites of Waco. Great little RV park. Sites are all level concrete and arranged in such a way that you really don't feel that you are very close to your neighbor. Nice canopy of trees also. It is obvious that the owner/manager takes pride in the park and are working to make even more upgrades. Very nice new permanent mount tables at our site. Utilities all worked well. The free WIFI was excellent and provided plenty of bandwidth. We camped at North Crest RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed overnight passing through the area. Easy access off the interstate. Park seemed very full. Many long timers who worked in the area stay here. Park manager was very helpful in escorting us to our spot and even helping with the hook-ups. It was a level sight with easy access through the campground, even with a tow. Park and facilities were very clean despite the projects they had been working on. Wifi was easy to use and open. I had several concerns about the campground and would give it a 10 if it were not for these small worries. I made reservations months in advance (it was spring break). During that time, I included that I would be arriving late. There was no email confirmation sent, nor any follow-up phone calls. When I finally made it to the campground, they had no idea that we were coming in. Our spot was so level because it was a car port with full hook-ups. I think management simply forgot our reservation, but did go out of their way to make up for it. There was no receipt given nor maps. But this seemed inconsequential because of the campground tour they gave us. Campground staff was also very quick to mention that we were the only campers with kids and they needed to be quiet. Despite these small concerns, campground staff easily accounted for the negatives with their personality, helpfulness and positive attitude. I would come back again. We camped at North Crest RV Park in a Motorhome.

Owner jumped into my truck and backed my camper into a spot. Concrete pads, nice picnic tables with benches. Owner is great. I had to find him on our second day to pay him. Nice laundry room, everything worked great. WiFi worked ok. If in the area we will come back to this park. We camped at North Crest RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

What a friendly place to stay. The campground is treed and all have good sized concrete pads. This is an older park, but well maintained. There are 2 bathrooms gender neutral, that are fully equipped. The owner takes pride in his place and gives great service with a smile. We camped at North Crest RV Park in a Motorhome.

The Owner/Manager makes this park. He is constantly working and cleaning the grounds. He would bend over backwards to ensure his guests have a great experience. Nothing fancy here, but we would return to this park whenever we come through Waco. Good utilities, concrete pad with very nice patio tables. Spacious sites, plenty of shade, and perfect location for seeing the sites in Waco (Magnolia Market). We camped at North Crest RV Park in a Motorhome.

We live full-time in our RV and are staying at North Crest. We've been here a little over 3 months now and absolutely LOVE it. The owner and manager has a heart of gold and works hard to keep his park well maintained and secure. This is the best park we've ever stayed at that keeps a marvelous balance between the full-timers and the short-term customers.

As far as full-time residents go, this park caters to people who have to move frequently for their jobs and to retired folks. The owner requires that the RVs that live here be clean, neat, and cared for (i.e., 10-year old rule). The park is quiet and friendly. No children live here, even though they are welcome guests during the summer, holidays, and weekends... very nice for grandparents. This park is the perfect environment for us.

The sites are shady with incredibly huge level concrete pads for your coach, your vehicles, and a provided picnic table and BBQ grille. The free cable TV is piped directly in via Time Warner Cable and is of extremely high quality. The free wi-fi internet is also one of the best we've ever experienced at an RV park. And our Verizon 4G/LTE signal is very strong.

Note: the nightly rate is based upon a monthly rate ($375)/30 days. We camped at North Crest RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Good park for a couple of days to visit Waco. The owner is real helpful. You have to get a box from the office and be able to connect it to one of your TVs to use the cable. Antenna received plenty of stations for us. There is no store or playground and one bathhouse with two rooms, no male or female. The sites are level concrete with parking for toad or tow. Each site has picnic table and BBQ grill. There is ALOT of road noise but shouldn't be a supprise. Lots of shade especially for a Texas campground. We would stay here again. We just spent one night here while visiting friends. We are thinking of finding a reason to go back. The park is very clean with tons of trees. Lot spacing was spacious with covered/forested exposure. Site surface was a concrete pad and featured a picnic table. The park is accessible to I-35 and downtown Waco. The cherry on top is the gregarious owner. He is a hoot! (Also a nice guy). We camped at North Crest RV Park in a Motorhome.

Our stay at Northcrest was relaxing. The owner/manager knows all his tenants and works very hard to stay in touch with them. His attitude is one of a smile and a handshake. You can see the pride he takes in owning his park.

If you are looking for an upscale resort then continue on. If you are wanting to relax and feel safe in a beautiful town then come on in. The park is well laid out with shade trees and some flowers. The manager will back you in. This is helpful after a full day of travel.

One negative is the I-35 traffic. But with fans, heaters, or air on the noise is drowned out.

Yes, we will be back. Camped here in March 2016 also. We camped at North Crest RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
