We stayed at this location on a trip east. This location is right off the I-20. Easy access in and out. The location is a very nice RV park. I would recommend to anyone in the location. The only issue we had was when the office staff took us to our site they had us turn around right by the office and it was too tight of a turn and we had to drive through a open site right by the office, was happy to have to drive thru the grass. However the sites were very nice, very big. Park has a awesome pool. Some full timers on the premise; however, they did not have the cleanest of sites, really took away from the nice park. Would I recommend this place.. Yes Very nice, very good location, staff outstanding, sites great. We camped at Oak Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

This a very nicely arranged park. The spaces are large and paved, it has a small swimming pool, a very nice meeting area, laundry facilities and friendly staff. It is also right on the interstate and incredibly noisy all day and all night. Way too noisy to even sit outside. We have dogs and the stickers were bad enough to keep the dogs out of the grass. The dog park got really nasty because of inconsiderate owners and lack of attention from maintenance. Mostly full timers and very expensive. We camped at Oak Creek RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Went in for several nights so we could drive to the Ft. Worth museums daily - about 30 miles but all interstate. The site was concrete paved with a small extension for the patio. Mostly level. Had to sweep the patio as they don't do this in between campers. Wifi was better/faster than most. Our site had some shade which was really nice in the hot weather. There is a small off leash fenced area for dogs. Most permanent site folks (and there were a lot of them) were neat and didn't have lots of things piled ourside, but there were a few that had a huge amount of things to the point of being junky. C'mon folks. People were friendly. Dog walkers be careful because cars can come from either direction and as quiet as cars are these days, they will sneak up on you without giving notice. A couple were right beside of us before I knew it. Overall a good park. Did not use the pool, bath or laundry facilities which all looked nice and well maintained. We camped at Oak Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is our go to CG for Weatherford. This year the number of full-timers seems higher but all sites are tidy. We are closer to I-20 than previous visits and the noise is more noticeable but is ok. I'll ask for a pad a little deeper in the park in future visits. We camped at Oak Creek RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Before the Interstate system travel across Texas was largely county seat to county seat. The Interstates bypass most of these and these little towns started to dry up (watch the movie "Cars" for a sense of that). Many have re-invented themselves and are a delight to visit. The county courthouse seems to be these towns centerpieces and many interesting shops and restaurants are to be found plus a little history.

I would give this park a 10 except that it is in earshot of I-20. The drives and long pull through pads are all concrete and level. A few have trees for shade, but most do not. The pads are diagonal with flares at the end to help keep the tires on the pavement coming and going. The power post is illuminated making it easier to make the hookups if coming in after dark. The folks in the office are exceptional and eager to be of assistance. Voltage and water pressure are good and the cable works but has only 11 channels. The bath/shower facilities are among the best I've seen and the rec room that is open until 10PM is exceptional and has some exercise equipment, pool table, big screen TV, leather lounges and many tables and chairs and a full kitchen. I would definitely come back when in the area. We camped at Oak Creek RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Oak Creek is about 1 hour from the center of Dallas/Fort Worth. The nearby city of Weatherford has the normal selection of shopping and chain restaurants along with many local that are very good.

This park is "in the middle of nowhere" but we really enjoyed our stay. The park is huge with concrete roads and sites. They have lots of grass and doggie bags and waste baskets are placed strategically around the park. The pool and hot tub are very pretty and clean. There was a lot of room between our sites. The WI-FI was very spotty. We camped at Oak Creek RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very friendly. Good water pressure. Sewer connection is near front of site. Tremendous noise from I-20. Clean long spaces. Good cable. Good internet. I would stay here again, if using air conditioner for noise cancellation. We camped at Oak Creek RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here for 2 weeks, at $220 per week. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. When we checked in, they first put us in a site with a tree over hanging, which means we would have no satellite TV and the branches would probably hit the top of our coach. When I pointed this out, the lady that checked us in took me around in their golf cart and showed me what was available. After picking our site, we found that the hook ups were close together, easy to get to, and easy to connect. The wi-fi was good, the AT&T cell service worked well, as did our satellite TV. They have cable there, and we found that most of it worked well, except for NBC. Not sure if it was the cable or the station, but we had a picture, but no sound, just static. The interior roads and sites were concrete and fairly level. We would stay there again. We camped at Oak Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Fort Worth Stockyards District and make sure to get a steak at one the many steakhouses in the area. The Tarrant County Courthouse, especially if you like "Walker, Texas Ranger." The zoo was pretty good. Go see money being printed at the U.S. Bureau of Engraving and Printing.

Oak Creek RV Park is a beautiful private park west of Weatherford, Texas on I-20. The park is well maintained and clean. Nice shaded pool, large clubhouse with full kitchen. The sites are all 50A full hook-ups with concrete pads and roads. Some sites have shade. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only negative is highway noise from I-20. We were in site 37. We camped at Oak Creek RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Oak Creek is our usual stop when we're West of DFW. Always well maintained and pleasant staff. Easy off/on I20, but not too close to the Interstate noise. Level concrete pads and paved roads through-out that are not challenging in a big rig. Sites are plenty wide and long. Utilities easy to hook up, dependable and up to spec. The long term and overnighters are in different locations and the park is still expanding. We camped at Oak Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice Park. All streets & sites are cement. Sites are level with well-maintained grass between (& no burrs to hurt the dog). Tengo internet access is included in fee & coverage was pretty good. Verizon cell service was good. Contrary to last review (3/16), the concrete pull thru sites are very narrow but long for rig and tow. Also, the patios are exceptionally small & not well positioned for front entry diesel pushers. When we positioned our coach to access satellite service, the patio was between the rig and the tow. 10's on most items, 6's on width of parking slab and patio plus no tables or chairs. We camped at Oak Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

What a beautiful park. Wide sites with concrete parking pads and grass between. Plenty of room for slides. Lots of trees but if you want open space for a satellite antenna you can have it. Paved roads, easy to get in and out. If it was a mile off the interstate it would be a solid 10. My site was on the end nearest the highway, so lots of road noise. 20/30/50 Electric & Sewer good, Water@40 psi. Wi-Fi is by Tengointernet. You get a coupon to access the internet. You must give them your first and last name and email address. They will email you a logon and password associated to your coupon number. I prefer not to give my name and email address to someone I don't know. I didn't use the WiFi. AT&T Cell Phone has a strong signal with 4/5 bars. AT&T Air Card was very fast. Verizon 4G LTE Air Card has a mediocre signal. Cable has about 50 channels and most are good. Sites are concrete and grass between. Plenty of room to put our your awning. Long and wide enough to handle Big Rig RV's. Road to the park is good and all inside the park are concrete. Restrooms are outstanding. They are all inclusive with all restroom & shower in one room. I am impressed. Laundry is big and clean. Long term tenants are through out the park but they are well kept. DirecTV Satellite is possible in probably the majority of the sites even with a number of large trees through out the park. Good Sam Discount is available. Payment with credit card is available. This is an outstanding park. I would stay here again when in the area. We camped at Oak Creek RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Great BBQ if you go to Exit 386 about 5 miles and has a big rocking chair out front. Go to Exit 408 and drive down main street of Weatherford. Good shops and restaurants and a Gibson's store that you should visit. Only two in Texas and the original is in Kerrville TX. If they don't have it you don't need it... Take a good look at the Local Attractions sheet handed out by the office. The office has coffee and hot chocolate any time you want it, free..
