This campground is wonderful for families as there is a lot for little ones to do. It's pricey, so not a place you'd visit often...but if you're looking for somewhere extra special for the kids in Wichita Falls, this is it. We have a 40' fifth wheel and stayed in a pull through. Nice space, close but not too close to your neighbors. No trees, very open...so that may or may not be a pro. Bathhouse was clean. There are individual bathrooms, which are great for families as you can have the kids go potty, shower and brush their teeth all in your private area. There was not a changing table in the room I used. Laundry room is in the same area as tha bathrooms, so you could do laundry while getting everyone ready for bed. Now, having said all of this, there are only a couple of bathhouses, so they might get busy. They were not, when I used them...but it was late (around 9:30p). Property has two small pools, a really nice splash area, putt/putt that is well maintained, a very nice playground and a fun maze. There are also some sweet animals on property that you can say hi too. And the office has weekend activities scheduled. Staff was nice and the property was clean. At&t service was strong. Trash is picked up, from your site, at 10a. Check out was 12noon, so you'll have time in the morning for the kids to play. If we're ever in the area again, we will definitely stay again. We camped at Jellystone Park at Coyote Ranch RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very expensive RV park, and since we were only using it for an overnight stop and did not use any of the recreational amenities, it seemed too pricey. The restrooms were spotless as were the showers, which is what attracted us to this location, and we were certainly not disappointed. But at this price I was annoyed that the claimed "level" site was most certainly not level and I was glad I had the ability to level my TT side to side. There was zero shade so it felt like being in the middle of a big parking lot. I was also a bit annoyed that while I asked for a site near the restrooms/showers, and the park was mostly empty, they assigned me a site not nearly as close as they could have done without any issue for the park. Also, the dog walking area was overgrown with weeds and filthy and I would not recommend using it. We camped at Jellystone Park at Coyote Ranch RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Park is geared to kids with enough activities (2 pools, mini splash zone, mini golf, maze, etc) to keep kids entertained for a couple of days. Overall nice buildings although several of the buildings were locked so we were unable to check out the interiors. Staff was helpful and friendly. As a destination for kids it is noisy, hectic with varying degrees of parental supervision. If you want someplace for an overnight stay, I'd find another park. We traveled with kids and they had a fun time. Sites are close together, plenty long enough for big rigs and tow vehicles and the utilities worked well. Roads and pads are gravel and dusty. I thought the rates were a touch high for the amenities provided by the park. We camped at Jellystone Park at Coyote Ranch RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Campground is geared towards kids and families with the Jellystone theme. Since we are elderly and were only overnighting, we did not take advantage of any of the amenities. The main area was crawling with kids, bikes, golf carts, strollers, etc. with varying degrees of adult supervision, or lack thereof. The RV sites were in the back, in the open, with asphalt roads and long concrete pads. Grass between the sites with picnic tables, and fire ring. Campground was clean. Privacy dictated by number and spacing of campers. We camped at Jellystone Park at Coyote Ranch RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We have stayed here several times before, so it was interesting to see the changes. The park looks first class. Like most in this area, there are no trees just full sun, but the pads and the power pedestals look new (even though I know they aren't). There are several Jellystone themed areas and, when weather permits, a nice pool. There are just two downsides here. It is located on a frontage road, so to reach it when you are headed north on 287 you have to go past, go up to the next exit, and then come back down. If you are leaving here southbound, you have to make a similar detour. Since that next exit is only 1 mile north, it is not that big a deal, just something to be aware of. The other big disadvantage is they have Tengo Internet, which is synonymous with PPP (painfully poor performance). The internet is free, but it is worth what it costs. I just my Verizon data card most of the time because Tengo just isn't worth the trouble. But the park is nice and a good place to be either as a destination or as a place to plan visits to Wichita Falls. We camped at Jellystone Park at Coyote Ranch RV Resort in a Motorhome.

You are about 5 miles south of Wichita Falls. Check out the Falls downtown- and there is a nice walking trail past and around the Falls area.

Not at 10 because: wifi not wide enough band even with park 30% occupied; lack significant tree shade; water pressure extra high (no flow restrictors at sites. Overall, a decent park in which we'll stay again AND recommend to others who are not turned off by the above mentioned items. We camped at Jellystone Park at Coyote Ranch RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Very nice park, lots of services. Spacious and open site with a concrete pad and picnic table. Really into kid entertainment. Signage is not great. The personnel are not friendly, actually arrogant when paying and checking in. A call for directions given by a person who was directionally challenged. Paid for four nights and due to a medical emergency I had to leave. I was credited for 3 days usable within the next 30 days. We camped at Jellystone Park at Coyote Ranch RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Clean and well maintained, level sites, very nice restroom/showers (upscale individual rooms with locks!). Only downside was very poor WiFi, which I measured at 0.8 down, 0.1 up Mbps. We camped at Jellystone Park at Coyote Ranch RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed there on the very busy weekend of Hotter N Hell hundred bike races. When I arrived there were two RV's ahead of me at the gate, but they had staff members coming out to greet the arriving guests, so check in was quick and easy.

They have a nice clean park and all the sites around where we were parked had nice soft grass that was well groomed. (Was kind of a treat since they have had very little rain in the past couple months)

The parking pads were both back in and pull-thru.

Trash service is great, just drop off your trash bags at the edge of your site in the morning and they come pick it up.

There seems to be a lot for kids to do there, but we don't have kids anymore so didn't pay attention. They also offered breakfast & dinner on this weekend, but we had other plans and didn't attend.

They do have cable TV hook up, but the quality of the signal was not very good. We camped at Jellystone Park at Coyote Ranch RV Resort in a Motorhome.

A bit pricey, but worth the money. This is a Yogi Bear park and let me tell you, this is kids heaven. This crew sure devoted their days to the kids. Every area/building is spotless and very up to date. The staff are beyond helpful and accommodating. I haven't used the Wi-Fi, the cable isn't the greatest but with all of these activities, who needs TV? If you don't have children, that's OK, there's a pool for just the adults. The only thing they could/should do better at is keeping the spots mowed. The sites are nice and roomy with plenty of parking space. The electric and cable pedestals have nice night lights on the tops. Roads are plenty wide enough for maneuvering. 2 laundry and shower houses that are spotless. This place has so much that you just have to see it for yourself. Shopping and restaurants are close by. Bring the family and have a good time. You won't be sorry! Tips for other Campers:

Activities for the kids starts with breakfast and cartoons and goes all day. This is the place to be especially if you have children of any age. There's a pool for the bigger kids and a splash area separate for the bitty kids. No more than ankle deep which is perfect for the babies. The kids absolutely love this place. I can't wait to get my grandbabies down here for a visit!

As others have said it is pricey but a well kept and well managed park. Everyone was very helpful plus the sites were good size with grass. Right off the freeway and easy to find. Would stay again. We camped at Jellystone Park at Coyote Ranch RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Coyote Ranch would be a very good park at half the price. Overall, the facilities were very good, but we've found better for much less money. Bathhouses and laundry were clean. Wi-Fi was painfully difficult to log onto and slow when you finally got logged on. Cable at our site did not work, and even if it had, there were not a lot of channels on it. About 100 feet of the entrance road was torn-up, perhaps from recent rain, otherwise interior road were asphalt. Pads were concrete, a few with concrete patios. Management officiously enforced rules, even those not written down. Overall a nice park, but believe we'll save our money and go elsewhere next time we're in the area. We camped at Jellystone Park at Coyote Ranch RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a really neat park. Lots of stuff for kids to do. Playground, bouncing pillow, mini golf, swimming pools (2). The sites are level concrete. Lots of space between sites. Only problem I have with this park is the price. We had reservations at another park but had to evacuate after one night due to flooding. This was the only other site not in danger of flooding. I recently declined to stay here due to previous reviews stating the area was overgrown with grass/weeds. Had the opportunity to drive thru this park while going thru Wichita Falls. I have NOT stayed here. The park IS now a Yogi Bear franchise and the entire park is very neat and well-manicured. There is a large structure under construction on the west side. There was an antiques show in progress when I drove thru. Just wanted to pass on that there is not a weed nor an upkeep problem at this campground now. While the pull through site was nice and long, it was narrow and there was no patio slab, so we had to step out into the grass. The grass was very high and needed to be mowed. There are some permanent residents here. The park is neat and near the highway, which makes it a convenient stop. I am not sure of the "resort" part, though. When I called to make the reservation, the first person I spoke to said it was $40 plus $8 per person for a resort fee. When I called back the next day, I was told there was no resort fee. If there had been one, I would not have stayed here. We camped at Jellystone Park at Coyote Ranch RV Resort in a Motorhome.
