A solid 8+ park just on the outskirts of Lubbock. Level, easy access and reasonably long pull thrus. Very wide interior roads. Number of long term residents but all was clean and orderly. Would definitely stay here again when in Lubbock. We camped at Mesa Verde RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Campground sits off four lane highway. Traffic noise is minimal. If you are unfamiliar with the "highway loop" system you may have some difficulty exiting highway system to locate entrance (it is on the service road). This campground is in close proximity to our family living in Lubbock, and we do stay here multiple times a year. The park does have minimal tree shade. It also does offer long-term stays. We camped at Mesa Verde RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

We have a 33 foot 5th-wheel and tow with a crew cab. We found that if we backed in at an angle our nose did not impede on interior road. It was tight, but manageable.

The sites in this park for short-term stays are wide, level, and gravel with a nice grass buffer between sites. They are long enough to park the tow car behind. We were in Site 12 at the front of the park, close to the highway. There is noise, so if you are a light sleeper, ask for a site elsewhere in the park. Park is very clean and all grass is neatly mowed and trimmed. The roads in the park are adequate, but not wide. Office staff was friendly. Everything worked well except the wifi, which was sporadic. We enjoy this park and will overlook the wifi and choose this park again. We camped at Mesa Verde RV Park in a Motorhome.

The park is easy to access and maneuver within. Sites and interior roads are level gravel. There is no shade but some sites are separated by grassy areas. Proximity to the highway results in nonstop road noise. Basic utilities are good but wi-fi is incredibly slow. AT&T phone service is good at the park but data service is only fair. The price reflects a Passport America discount. We camped at Mesa Verde RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We were assigned a spacious pull-thru site. It was very long with above-average spacing between the units. The park itself was exceptionally quiet during our 2-night stay. Staff was very friendly and the bathrooms were very clean. The only reasons I didn't give it a 10 is the highway noise is fairly noticeable and the dog run fences are a bit short for large dogs (ours could jump over easily if they wanted to). I'm just being nitpicky, though. :) Overall it's a great place. We camped at Mesa Verde RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

As of Oct 2015, Google Maps will try to navigate you to the wrong location. The park is on the northbound frontage road of Hwy 82, about 1/2 mile south of 7100/82nd St. Google tries to send you about 1.5 miles farther south on Hwy 82.

A very clean campground. Showers were spotless. A little freeway noise, but air conditioner covered it. We came in late and their late check in was simple and efficient. Will stay here again. We camped at Mesa Verde RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

The price reflects their full price but they will take Passport America for your first night only or Good Sam.

It's very close to the highway. If you're a light sleeper be aware. The newer part and the very very back of the campground will be quieter and better. We only stayed for 2 nights so it was OK, but I will not stay here again.

When we made the reservation I specifically said I will not be next to the highway they said OK but when we arrived they moved us to the front. I was upset especially since the office was already closed. I moved to the back of the park since I saw one of the workers and shared how disappointed I am.

A LOT of mosquitoes, got bitten a lot, they come out as the sun goes down.

Their swimming pool is like a big tub but that's it, don't count on it. I was also disappointed by their "exercise room", old/ very very cheap equipment I would not recommend. We camped at Mesa Verde RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

The best spots are the very back of the park, these ones have grass and are quiet. The new section is also in the back, fits big rigs but all gravel no grass.

Find a different campground.

We stayed here for one night on our way to Colorado. The hosts were not on site as we arrived late and left early, but they left us a fantastic welcome packet and checked us in/out over the phone. The bathrooms were spotless, the site was level and nicely kept, and the entire place was clean. We had a pull through near the front, so there was some highway noise but we didn't hear it with our AC on. Would definitely recommend Mesa Verde. We camped at Mesa Verde RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate shown is regular rate, but Passport America members can receive a discount for one night - does not apply to weekend nights. Space in this park is tight, but the layout for short-term travelers makes for easy access in and out. There was space to park the car behind the motor home but it was close. There is a small buffer area between the pull-through sites. There are many extended-stay units in the park, but the ones we saw were well kept. All utilities and wi-fi worked well. Considering the park was nearly full, it was fairly quiet at night. Did not check shower/restroom area. We enjoyed our stay and would choose this park again. We camped at Mesa Verde RV Park in a Motorhome.

Neat park. Friendly owners. Passport America so the 1 night was $16.50. Good power and water. Hookups were at middle of site and staggered so your neighbors hookups were not outside your door. External light at hookups and good lighting throughout park. Long pull through so were were able to get into site with 34' 5th wheel. If I had one change to make it would be to make the streets a little wider so getting into and out of sites were easier. Customers are urged to park in from of office if they have more than 1 vehicle but that is not followed. Many construction workers but their rigs are neat and areas around are kept tidy. We were able to get level without unhooking. Adequate room between sites for slides and awnings. We would stay here again. We camped at Mesa Verde RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a nice park, we were in the newer section. Streets were paved & was ideal for walking. The woman helping in the office was very nice, & when asked, provided us the name of a place to get our hair cut. Laundry room had 4 washers/Dryers & were in good shape, also reasonably priced. Wifi was excellent. Heads up -They don't accept American Express. We stayed 2 weeks & if through this area would stay again. We camped at Mesa Verde RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very convenient coming from the West. Close enough to Lubbock, but away for all the construction in progress in town. Long pull thrus, but are a bit on the narrow side. Park is well maintained and management is very friendly and helpful. We camped at Mesa Verde RV Park in a Motorhome.
