OK for a night. We enjoyed the pool. Building was old, but the water was great! Little shade in the area where we were. Unable to get a phone signal at our site. Very quiet. We camped at Four Seasons Mobile Home & RV Resort in a Motorhome.
Date of Stay: February, 2011 - $10.00
New park management this year has changed the atmosphere of the park. The rates have been raised and additional fees are being charged. Thrash was allowed to overflow the dumpsters on several occasions. The office hours are Monday through Friday from 9 am to 4 pm and management isn't normally available on weekends. After 3 years I won't be back. We camped at Four Seasons Mobile Home & RV Resort in a Motorhome.
Date of Stay: January, 2009 - $5.00
The rate is based on a monthly stay. This is my second year returning to this park and the friendly people here are the draw. There are lots of activities including: great fishing in Falcon Lake, cards, swimming pool, pool, shuffleboard, bingo, jam sessions and carry-ins to mention a few. The park is older and thus the sites aren't as big as they could be, but there is still plenty of room to deploy slides and the sites are level. Rates will rise next year, but prices haven't been posted yet. We camped at Four Seasons Mobile Home & RV Resort in a Motorhome.
Date of Stay: November, 2006 - $15.00
Huge place - lots of sites devoted to permanent park models and trailers. Situated on the water, inlet and canal on the edges of the immense Falcon Reservoir. We were escorted to our site on the back fringes of the park - the majority of the sites are on one level, the RV’s (transient) spots seem to be on the edges one story down (15’ - 20’) - perhaps it was a second thought, something to do with all that extra space. Some of the RV sites were parallel to the road - the 15’ - 20’ bluff on one side, the road on the other (I believe those were considered the pull-thru’s). Unless you really hug the bluff on one side, your deployed slide might hang over the park interior road. Fortunately there was very little traffic, but it was still a bit unnerving. Nightly rate ($15) surprisingly inexpensive for free WiFi & extensive cable (50+ channels). Very helpful owner loaned us a cable TV splitter for the evening. We were parked in a very quiet area of a very quiet park. We only stayed one night, but in our short stay we saw 3 boat docks and lots of friendly people. Loads of park activities, socials, pot luck dinners, interdenominational services every Sunday and so forth. We camped at Four Seasons Mobile Home & RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
